Abstract

Tuberculosis is a contagious disease caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The cause of tuberculosis treatment is often unsuccessful due to the emergence of drug side effects, which makes patients who experience drug side effects not adhering to treatment. This study aims to determine and identify any side effects that occur during treatment with OAT in tuberculosis patients. The research method used is literature study. The results showed that on average women who experienced drug side effects were women than men. The largest percentage of the body's organ systems that experience drug side effects are gastrointestinal, and the skin is the most common cause of adverse reactions. Common and dominant types of manifestations of drug side effects are nausea, itching, and lethargy. The majority of the score categories in this study obtained were in the "Maybe" category, and with the lowest "Certain" category. The side effects that you get depend on each individual, and not all individuals experience side effects due to the use of OAT. Abstract

Schizophrenia is a very serious mental disorder, which manifests as a collection of symptoms, including impaired thought processes, mood disorders, perceptual disturbances, and behavioral disorders that can lead to disability and dependence. At Sambang Lihum Hospital, South Kalimantan, schizophrenia is always included in the top 10 most treated psychiatric diseases. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the use of antipsychotic drugs in schizophrenic patients and determine its relationship to the length of stay of schizophrenic patients at the Sambang Lihum Hospital, South Kalimantan for the period October – December 2020. This study was an observational study with a cross-sectional design. Data collection was carried out by tracing medical records at the Sambang Lihum Hospital, South Kalimantan for the period October - December 2020. The results of an evaluation study on the use of antipsychotics in people with schizophrenia showed that the right drug was 96.7%, the correct dose was 97.5%, and the frequency was correct. 61.2%. The relationship between rationality and length of stay analyzed using the Chi-square test with the Continuity correction method obtained a significance value of 0.283 (more than 0.05). The conclusion obtained from the use of antipsychotics in schizophrenic patients has not been rational because of the evaluation of accuracy that is not in accordance with the literature. Based on the results of the analysis using the Chi-square test, there is no significant relationship between rationality and length of stay for schizophrenia patients at the Sambang Lihum Regional Mental Hospital, South Kalimantan

Abstract

Ketidakpatuhan merupakan faktor yang menghambat pengontrolan tekanan darah. Pill Card salah satu media pengingat minum obat yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman lebih baik terhadap pengobatan yang dijalani. Instruksi berbasis gambar ini sangat berguna terutama untuk pasien dengan pengobatan jangka panjang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepatuhan pasien hipertensi setelah pemberian Pill Card di RS X. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan teknik pengambilan data menggunakan metode purposive sampling pada 30 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pengisian kuesioner Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS). Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah analisa univariat menggunakan distribusi frekuensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan pemberian Pill Card dapat memperbaiki kepatuhan pasien hipertensi yang semula hanya 16,67% meningkat menjadi 53,34%. Sebagian besar kepatuhan responden setelah diberikan Pill Card berada dalam kategori kepatuhan naik yakni sebesar 56,67%.
