Abstract

ABSTRAKMarinda citrifolia, linn merupakan buah yang kaya akan manfaat dan memiliki kandungan karbohidrat yang  cukup tinggi yaitu 51,67 gr . Marinda citrifolia,linn digunakan sebagai bahan baku dari pembuatan etanol dengan proses hidrolisis menggunakan HCl dan digunakan variasi ragi Yeast S. Cerevisiae  seberat 10, 15, 20 gr dengan waktu fermentasi selama 3 hari. Kemudian  hasil fermentasi di distilasi selama 1 jam. Pada penelitian ini diperoleh etanol dengan variasi ragi 10 gr seberat 2,75 gr ; Ragi 15 gr seberat : 2 gr, ; dan ragi 15 gr seberat : 1 gr. Kata kunci : Marinda citrifolia, linn , Hidrolisis, Yeast S. Abstract

This study is descriptive qualitative. The sample of this study was sixth semester students in English department of STKIP Abdi Pendidikan Payakumbuh. There were 31 students. The writer choose the sample by using purposive sampling technique. The instrument of this study was the questionnaire which was consist of 30 items based on survey of reading strategy developed by Mokhtary and Sheorey in 2002. Based on data analysis the data can be shown as follow: in using Global Strategy; 8.44% students chose always, 36.22% students chose often, 43.67% students chose sometime, 10.91% students chose seldom and 0.74% students chose never. Meanwhile, in using problem solving Strategy; 12.91% students chose always, 43.15% students chose often, 38.737% students chose sometime, 3.63% students chose seldom and 1.61% students chose never. Last, in using support strategy; 15.43% students chose always, 36.2% students chose often, 35.12% students chose sometime, 11.83% students chose seldom and 1.43% students chose never. Based on the data, it can be concluded that metacognitive strategy in reading comprehension applied by the students  were Support strategy and then followed by Problem – solving strategy and Global strategy.Keywords: metacognitive strategy, reading comprehension, STKIP students

Abstract

Acne Vulgaris is a skin disease caused by inflammation in the pilosebaseusfollicleAbstract: Acne Vulgaris is a skin disease caused by inflammation in the pilosebaseusfollicle and this is the most common disease in adolescents within aged 15 to 18. Theaesthetic patients usually complained about Acne Vulgaris. There are many factors thatcan make Acne Vulgaris such as ages, ras, hereditary, unbalance of hormonal, stress,food, cosmetic, types of skin, lackage of knowledge and attitude of adolescents. Thepurpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge andattitudes of adolescents at Muhammadiyah 02 Medan High School with the incidence ofAcne Vulgaris. This research used descriptive analytic method with cross-sectional design.The subjects in this study were students from Muhammadiyah 02 Medan High School. Thetechnique in this study was using simple random sampling and data analysis was using thechi square test. Retrieving data through filling in questionnaires. Test about the level ofknowledge of the students of Muhammadiyah 02 Medan High School about Acne vulgarismajority is categorized as sufficient (48.4%) and the results of attitude tests on Acnevulgaris were mostly categorized as good (66.7%). knowledge and attitude with theincidence of Acne vulgaris obtained p -0.877 (p 0.05) and p 0.000 (p 0.05) There wasno relationship between the level of knowledge with the incidence of Acne vulgaris, butthere was relationship between attitude with the incidence of Acne vulgaris.
