Abstract

The aims of this research was to increase the student’s learning outcomes by implementation of questioning skill using guiding and exploring technique of student’s ability in Human Activities and Environment Problem Grade X Barumun Tengah. The research method was descriptive by direct observation to teacher (researcher) and student’s observation. The research implementation was conducted by subject teacher where the type of the research was Class Action Research (PTK). The population of this research was the entire students Grade X consisted of two classes totalling 58 students.The sampling method was random sampling. The used instruments was test in the problem form of Human Activities and Environment Problem subject matter. The indicator of research success were the average value and mastery learning of students. The student’s learning outcomes in cyclus I was 75.9 and the deviation standard was 10.47, the learning outcomes in cyclus II was 76.5 and the deviation standard was 9.3 and the learning outcomes in cyclus III was 84.6 and the deviation standard was 11.7. The student’s mastery learning in cyclus I was 80.7% while 19.3% unfinished, the learning mastery in cyclus II was 88.5% while 11.5% unfinished, the learning mastery in cyclus III was 92.3% while 7.7% unfinished. Based on the research result can be concluded that learning by Implementation of Questioning Skill using Guiding and Exploring Technique of Student’s Ability in Human Activities and Environment Problem Grade X Barumun Tengah can increase the Student’s Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

This reasearch was aimed to know The Effectiveness of Learning by Using Description, Interpretation, and Evaluation Learning Technique in Excretion Syystem in Humans Subject Matter of Student in Class XI Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Barumun Tengah. This research was conducted in May to July 2016 in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Barumun Tengah. The population in this research was all students class XI Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Barumun Tengah totalling 68 students which was consisted of two classes, XI1 and XI2. The sample in this research was one class totalling 35 students.The technique sampling was random sampling. The observation was conducted to 35 students by using multiple choice test totalling 25 items.The success indicator of this reasearch were: the average value of learning outcomes, learning mastery, and the mastery of indicator achievement. The research result showed that the average value of student’s learning outcomes which was taught by description, interpretation, and evaluation learning technique was 7.6 (good category) where the standard deviation was 15.5. Student’s learning mastery in The Excretion System in Humans subject matter in Class XI Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Barumun Tengah was 91.42% while 8.58% has not achieve the learning mastery. Based on the research result concluded that Biology Learning in Excretion System in Humans Subject Matter in Class XI Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Barumun Tengah by Using Description, Interpretation, and Evaluation Learning Technique was very effective.

Abstract

This research was aimed to know the effect of Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) model by experiment method on science process skill of students in ecology of animal subject matter. The population in this research was all students in semester V STKIP Tapanuli Selatan which was consisted of two classes, they were class VA and class VB. The sample in this research was all students in semester V, they were class VA and class VB. The research type was quasi experiment using the totalling sampling method. The data obtaining used the instrument of science process skill. The data analysis used t-test, obtained tcount= 8.05 while ttable= 1.67 (in significant degree α = 0.05). This resut meant that tcount> ttable hence the H0 was refused and Ha was accepted. Therefore, there was the significant effect in using Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) by using experiment method on science process skill of students in ecology of animal subject matter.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the college students’ English speaking and writing skill through Picture-Guessing method in Advanced English for Physics subject. The research method was quantitative descriptive research. The population was the entire of college students in fourth semester of Physics Education Study Program which amount of student was six people. All population in this research became a sample of this research. The technique of sampling was total sampling. The treatment was conducted was applying the Picture-Guessing method. The result of research were: 1) The average value of college students’ English speaking skill was 70.73 in “Good” category; 2) The average value of college students’ English writing skill was 72.83 in “Good” category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahu apakah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pada Mata Kuliah Strategi Pembelajaran di Institut Pendidikan Tapanuli Selatan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai dengan Maret 2021 di Institut Pendidikan Tapanuli Selatan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Semester II Institut Pendidikan Tapanuli Selatan. Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 30 mahasiswa. Sampel penelitian ini diambil atau ditentukan dengan teknik Total Sampling. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain one group pre test-post test design. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes essay. Berdasarkan analisis deskriptif, nilai rata-rata penerapan pembelajaran berbasis masalah adalah 3,00 dengan kategori “baik”. Adapun nilai rata-rata hasil belajar sebelum diterapkan pembelajaran berbasis masalah adalah 55,13 berkategori “cukup” dan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar setelah diterapkan pembelajaran berbasis masalah adalah 75,5 berkategori “baik”. Berdasarkan analisis statistik inferensial dengan menggunakan uji t untuk menguji hipotesis, diperoleh thitung = 14,86 dan ttabel = 1,70 pada taraf kesalahan 5%. Hal ini terlihat dari thitung lebih besar dari ttabel (14,86>1,70). Artinya hipotesis alternatif diterima. Dengan kata lain, ada pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah strategi pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup dengan penggunaan pendekatan Saintifik di MTs Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah 2 Lumut Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan melibatkan siswa kelas VII B sebanyak 30 orang. Instrument yang digunakan dalam pengambilan data adalah observasi, dan tes. Teknik analisis data bersifat kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup dengan penggunaan pendekatan Saintifik di MTs Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah 2 Lumut menunjukkan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa dengan pencapaian yaitu siklus I sebesar 13,3% dengan nilai rata-rata 53,6 dan pada siklus II sebesar 76,7% dengan nilai rata-rata 70,1 dengan peningkatan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 16,6. Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pemanfaatan lingkungan alam sekitar sebagai sumber belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelasVII di Desa PargarutanJulu. Metode penelitian ini metode eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest posttest.Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP di Desa PargarutanJulu.Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 15 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian diketahui gambaran pemanfaatan lingkungan alam sekitar sebagai sumber belajar diperoleh nilai sebesar 3,00dengan kategori baik. Gambaran hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VII di Desa PargarutanJulu sebelum pemanfaatan lingkungan alam sekitar sebagai sumber belajar diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 69.00 yakni berada pada kategori cukup.Sesudah pemanfaatan lingkungan alam sekitar sebagai sumber belajar diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 74.33 yakni berada pada kategori baik.Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis di atas diketahui bahwa nilai thitung sebesar 4.675 selanjutnya adapun nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05 maka dapat disimpulkan “Terdapat pengaruh pemanfaatan lingkungan alam sekitar sekolah sebagai sumber belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP di Desa PargarutanJulu”. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the effectiveness of the use of google classroom application in “Belajar dan Pembelajaran” subject to students’ learning outcomes in Institut Pendidikan Tapanuli Selatan. The research method was quasi experiment with one group pre-test post-test design. The population was the entire of college students in fourth semester of Informatics Vocational Study Program which amount of student was 83 people. The sample of this research was the class IV-B totaling 27 people. The technique of sampling was cluster random sampling. The treatment was conducted was applying the Google Classroom application. The result of research was the use of google classroom application was effective in “Belajar dan Pembelajaran”subject to students’ learning outcomes in Institut Pendidikan Tapanuli Selatan, where the percentage value of <g> was 77.05 % in “effective” category.
