Abstract

RÉSUMÉ. La stratégie de classe inversée, comme l’une des stratégies de l’apprentissage hybride, a eu un impact positif sur le changement des méthodes d’enseignement traditionnelles, qui passent généralement du temps en classe, en les combinant de manière virtuelle. Cette étude tente d’étudier les effets de la stratégie de classe inversée en utilisant Edmodo dans l’apprentissage de la grammaire française. L'étude est menée en utilisant la méthode quantitative avec le modèle quasi expérimental. Les participants à cette recherche sont les étudiants qui ont étudié la grammaire française du niveau A1 / A2 du CECRL dans une université en Indonésie. Les résultats montrent que cette stratégie contribue positivement à l’amélioration des performances des étudiants en matière de grammaire. Cette étude devrait contribuer à offrir un autre aperçu de la conception et des résultats de l’application du matériel d’apprentissage par le biais de la stratégie de la classe inversée, notamment à travers la plateforme Edmodo. Mots-clés : apprentissage hybride, classe inversée, Edmodo, grammaire. ABSTRACT. The strategy of flipped classroom, like one of the blended learning’s strategies, had a positive impact in the change of the traditional methods of teaching, which normally spend time in the classroom, by combining them with those in a virtual way. This study attemps to investigate the effects of flipped classroom strategy using Edmodo in the French grammar learning. The study is conducted by using the quantitative method with the model quasi-experimental. The participants of this research is the students who studied French grammar on CEFR level A1/A2 in one university in Indonesia. The results show that this strategy contributes positively to the improvement of the students’ performances in grammar subject. This study should contribute in offering another insight into the design and results of the application of learning materials through the flipped classroom’s strategy, in particular through Edmodo platform. Keywords: blended learning, flipped classroom, Edmodo, grammar.

Abstract

RÉSUMÉ.  Un manuel reste toujours être considéré comme un principal matériel pédagogique pour la diffusion du savoir culturel français. Cette étude tente donc d’étudier l’aspect culturel dans le manuel du FLE. L’étude est menée en utilisant la méthode descriptive qualitative. Les objets de cette étude sont des textes tirés d’un manuel du FLE qui sont dispersées dans chaque chapitre avec des thèmes différents. Les données sont collectés en classifiant cinq dimensions de la culture comme les produits, les pratiques, les perspectifs, la communauté, et les personnes puis sont analysées en utilisant la théorie de Moran (2001). Les résultats montrent que ce manuel ont pu remplir les catégories des aspects culturels pour ses apprenants. Cette étude devrait donc contribuer au développement des recherches sur l’évaluation d’un manuel. Mots-clés : Analyse Culturelle, Culture, FLE,  ManuelABSTRACT. A textbook is still considered as main educational material for the dissemination of French cultural knowledge. This study therefore attempts to study the cultural aspect in the French for Foreign Language (FFL) textbook. The study is conducted using the qualitative descriptive method. The objects of this study are texts taken from a FFL textbook which are scattered in each chapter with different themes. The data are collected by classifying five dimensions of culture such as products, practices, perspectives, community, and people and are then analyzed using Moran's framework theory (2001). The results show that this manual was able to fill the categories of cultural aspects for its learners. This study should therefore contribute to the development of research on the textbooks’ evaluation. Keywords: Cultural Analysis, Culture, FFL, Textbook

Abstract

This French language training is based on the limited ability of foreign languages other than English, namely French for tour guides in Pangandaran Regency. Until now there has been no formal education institution that provides French language in Pangandaran Regency, even though this area is an important tourist destination for West Java which is visited by many french tourists in 2019 (see Nurroni, 2019). Meanwhile, according to BAPPEDA West Java Provincial Government, this regency will become an international class tourist destination in 2021-2025. Departing from this goal, this service program provides training in French Tourism which can provide insight into french language skill to tour guides in Pangandaran Regency so that it will lead to improving the quality of their languages. This service aims to 1) provide French Tourism training for tour guides in Pangandaran Regency; 2) conduct a simulation of the jeux de rôles-actes de parole technique (role play-technical speaking acts) based on local wisdom of Pangandaran Regency. Based on the results of the training, tour guides in Pangandaran Regency are familiar with the French alphabet and numbers, are able to carry out simple conversations, and introduce tourist objects in Pangandaran in a simple manner

Abstract

RÉSUMÉ.  Cette étude tente de concevoir un outil d'apprentissage pouvant être utilisé dans la classe de français au lycée sous forme d'un multimédia interactif basé sur Android appelé "Le français, C'est bien". Cette recherche vise à décrire : (1) le développement d'un média d'apprentissage interactif basé sur Android pour la compréhension écrite du français au niveau A1, (2) l'application développée basée sur Android pour l'apprentissage de la compréhension écrite au niveau A1, (3) la perception de cette application par les étudiants et les enseignants. L'étude est menée en misant en place la méthode de recherche et développement (RD) selon la théorie de Richey Klein (2007), qui présente trois étapes : planification, production et évaluation (PPE). Les résultats montrent que cette application peut être utilisée comme support d'apprentissage dans le cours de compréhension de l'écrit au niveau A1 du CECRL..Mots-clés : Android, Application, A1, Compréhension écrite, Multimédia Interactif.  ABSTRACT. This study tries to design a learning tool that can be used in the French class in high school in the form of an interactive multimedia based on Android called "Le français, C'est bien". This research aims to describe: (1) the development of an interactive learning media based on Android for the written comprehension of French at level A1, (2) the application developed based on Android for the learning of written comprehension at level A1, (3) the perception of this application by students and teachers. The study is conducted by implementing the research and development (RD) method according to the theory of Richey Klein (2007), which has three stages: planning, production and evaluation (PPE).
