Abstract

INTRODUCING POTENCY AND THE INTEREST PURPOSE TOWARDS ADOLESCENTS. Understanding towards potency and the interest purpose is essential for students because it will help them to plan their further education and future career development. However, especially specialization does not become the main concern in Lower Secondary Schools due to assumption that the students are far from career choice, whereas the future career decision is the result of understanding and exploration of potency and interest began from early adolescence. The methods used in this service program were divided into 4 steps: (1) survey session; (2) delivering material session; (3) assessment session; and (4) conclusion. This program succeeded helping students to understand their potencies, interest, kinds of interest, and the purpose of specialization which are crucial for their exploration of further education and career.

Abstract

Salah satu kebijakan pemerintah Indonesia untuk memutus mata rantai penularan virus covid 19 adalah pembatasan sosial atau lebih dikenal dengan psysical distancing. Pemerintah membatasi kegiatan-kegiatan yang tidak terlalu penting. Semua kegiatan sementara waktu dilakukan di rumah, termasuk perkuliahan. Kegiatan perkuliahan yang semula secara tatap muka harus beralih menjadi kuliah online. Pola perubahan pendekatan perkuliahan ini memicu munculnya stres akademik pada mahasiswa. stres akademik yang tinggi dapat menyebabkan gangguan proses berpikir, persepsi dan kemampuan memecahkan masalah serta gangguan tidur dan berkurangnya kekuatan pengambilan keputusan. Jika dibiarkan, akan mengganggu kualitas hidup mahasiswa. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan adanya kegiatan lain untuk mengisi waktu luang dan mengurangi stres akademik mahasiswa. Salah satunya dengan terapi seni dengan metode mewarnai. Kegiatan ini dinilai mampu menurunkan tingkat stres akademik. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara terhadap subjek dan dianalisis dengan metode eksplikasi data. Subjek berjumlah lima orang yang diperoleh dengan dengan cara purposif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelima subjek mengalami penurunan tingkat stres akademik setelah melaksanakan aktivitas terapi mewarnai. Tampak pada semangat dan usaha kelima subjek untuk kembali aktif mengikuti perkuliahan online, semangat mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan dosen dan semangat untuk bertanya serta mencari tahu secara mandiri mengenai informasi seputar materi maupun informasi perkulihan yang belum dipahami.

Abstract

Digital trends with many teenagers who are active in social media from various platforms innovate and create to be able to become FYP (For Your Page) shows, presenting pro-con content by involving the sadness and misfortune of others and even enjoying the condition of others who are experiencing problems has become a common phenomenon among adolescent content creators. The feeling of pleasure derived from the sadness of others and the lack of empathy is a Schadenfreude behavior related to the self-esteem of the individual. This study aims to find out how the process and effectiveness of the application of Islamic psychotherapy in reducing Schadenfreude behavior in adolescent content creators in Pamekasan Regency. The method used in this study was a descriptive qualitative method with a case study. The process of collecting data on this research was carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation of the process of applying spiritual psychotherapy. The data sources in this study involved four adolescents of the male sex who became activists of social media content creators, both tiktokers, YouTubers, or celebgrams, as well as literature as secondary data. Data analysis was performed using Miles and Huberman models. The conclusions obtained from this study are: 1) Schadenfreude's behavior carried out based on rivalry, which is more individualistic and related to interpersonal competition (both between friends and between content creators) 2) The spiritual psychotherapy model given to four respondents, namely including meditation therapy, fardu and zikr prayer therapy, and Qur'an therapy 3) The success of the application of the spiritual psychotherapy model in four respondents was generally quite successful. i.e. minimizing Schadenfreude's behavior. All four respondents showed positive changes in both individual self-esteem, emotions, behavior and in the frequency of worship.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to provide an understanding of the importance of maintaining mental health and knowing mental health conditions regularly to Z-generation students in the Lawangan Daya sub-district, Pademawu Pamekasan. The method used in this community service activity was the DPR (Dengar, Pahami, Rangkul) method, which means Listen, Understand, and Embrace. This model was developed from the basic concept of Community-Based Intervention, which in its realization, was carried out through interactive dialogue activities, persuasive expository, group discussions, games, assignments, and mentoring. The results of this dedication received a positive response and impact on the participants. They became aware of the importance of maintaining mental health. In addition, the participants also recognized their strengths as one of the main factors in maintaining mental health. The recommendation for this activity is that it is necessary to hold similar activities with different participants and places. (Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang pentingnya menjaga kesehatan mental dan mengetahui kondisi kesehatan mental secara berkala kepada mahasiswa generasi z di kelurahan Lawangan Daya kecamatan Pademawu Pamekasan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah metode DPR (Dengar Pahami rangkul). Model ini dikembangkan dari konsep dasar Community-Based Intervention dimana dalam realisasinya dilakukan melalui aktivitas dialog interaktif, ekspositori persuasif, diskusi kelompok, permainan, penugasan dan pendampingan. Hasil pengabdian ini mendapat respon yang positif dan memberikan dampak yang signifikan bagi peserta. Mereka menjadi sadar akan pentingnya menjaga kesehatan mental. Selain itu, peserta juga mengetahui kekuatan diri masing-masing sebagai salah satu faktor utama dalam menjaga kesehatan mental. Rekomendasi kegiatan ini yaitu perlu diadakan kegiatan sejenis dengan peserta dan tempat yang berbeda.)

Abstract

The use of innovative BK Media during the COVID-19 pandemic is a challenge that must be faced by the guidance and counseling profession in Indonesia. Students as agents of change are required to be more adaptive in contributing media solutions that are in accordance with the current characteristics of students. However, the majority of students are still not familiar with the use of image and video editing software using a laptop/PC. Other data found is the condition of the use of BK media still using smartphones. Students still experience internet network problems, lack of knowledge of photo or video editing that can be used in providing counseling services. The photo or video editing applications on smartphones that are used include pixellap, snapseet, canva, tiktok, and kinemaster are only used for self-existence not to be used to create BK service content. Based on these problems, it is necessary to hold training on making infographic posters and educational cinema for prospective counselors so that they are able to provide maximum service to students. The methods used include: (1) socialization, (2) training practice, (3) monitoring & evaluation. The results of the training participants' service activities were able to increase the competence of participants in developing infographic poster media and educational cinema. Abstract

This study aims to explore takzim (reverence) morals profile of Islamic boarding school students (santri of pondok pesantren) at Pondok PesantrenAnnuqayah, Sumenep. Data resources of this research were santri of Lubangsa Area especially Lubangsa Putra which having a number of 1.174 santri. Respondents were selected using stratified sampling method based on stratum of Class Ūlã (beginner class), Class Wusthã (middle class), and Class Ulyã (advanced class). Through the slovin’s formula, there were selected 94 santri ūlã, 150 santri wusthã, and 106 santri ulyã. The data were collected through survey method and analyzed by Kruskal-Wallis Test dan Mann Whitney U Test. Results of the study reveal that there is no significant difference in morals of ta’dzim among santri ūlã, wusthã, and ulyã. The contribution of this study is that the ta’dzim value as reference/ basis/standard of ideal personality and behavior of santri. Furthermore, the study results are also input for developing a foundation for counseling relationship based on the wisdom of pondok pesantren.
