Abstract

Abstract. Research has been carried out which aims to determine the manufacture and physical properties of gypsum panels in the manufacture of gypsum panels for home interiors using banana midrib waste which is converted into fiber. Variations in the composition of mixing gypsum flour with banana midrib fiber include: Samples (A: 0%:100%) , (B: 2%:98%), (C: 4%:96%), (D: 6%:94 %), (E: 8%: 92%), and (F: 10%: 90%) with a FAS of 0.5. The physical test parameters include: Density, Water absorption, and Thickness expansion. From the test results obtained gypsum panels that are The best is in sample B which has a density value = 1.19 g/cm3, water absorption value = 24%, a thickness expansion value = 2.53%, which has complied with SNI 01-4449-2006 on the ceiling board. Key words: Gypsum panels, banana midrib, and gypsum flour.

Abstract

Study on the effect of comparison and improvement of water quality using electrocoagulation and carbon filter methods has been conducted. This study aims to find out a safe method to be an alternative in producing clean water up to drinking water that can be used to meet daily needs in accordance with clean water and drinking water standards. The parameters tested include physical parameters (temperature, TDS, turbidity, color, odor, and taste), chemical parameters (pH, iron (Fe), and aluminum (Al)), and microbiological parameters (E. coli and Coliform Bacteria). The test results show that water purification using activated carbon is much better than water test result by electrocoagulation method. This is reflected in physical and chemical parameters that have met the clean water standard (Permenkes RI No. 416/1990) and drinking water standard (No. 492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010). As for microbiological parameters are still not meet the clean and drinking water standards.Keywords: Activated carbon, electrocoagulation, and filters.

Abstract

Research on composite materials has been carried out with variations in the addition of Moringa stems to the gypsum profile trim. And tested for variations in the composition of the mixture of Moringa stem fiber and gypsum flour, including: sample A (0% : 100%), sample B (2% : 98%), sample C (4% : 96%), sample D (6% : 94%), sample E (8% : 92%), sample F (10% : 90%) with FAS 0,5. The results of the characterization of the gypsum profiles produced on the physical properties test: density of 1.00-1.24 g/cm3. The value of water absorption is 24-45%. And the thickness development value is 2.27-4.82%, which meets the value of SNI 01-4449-2006. From the research data, the best sample is sample B with a density value of 1.14 g/cm3, the water absorption value is 27%, the thickness expansion value is 3.45%.Keywords :gypsum flour, list profil gypsum, moringa fiberThere has been a study of composite materials with variations of additionsKelor bars on the gypsum profile. Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian pengaruh penambahan limbah banner dan perekat sikacim concrete additive terhadap karakteristik batako dengan variasi yang limbah banner, pasir, semen, dan sicacim yaitu sampel A: 0% 30% 70% 5%, sampel B: 0,5 % 30% 69,5 % 5%, sampel C: 1% 30% 69% 5%, sampel D: 1,5% 30% 68,5 % 5%, sampel E: 2% 30% 68,5 % 5%. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui karakteristik yang di hasilkan pada pengujian kuat tekan  peringkat rendah pada variasi (30%: 68,5%) sebesar 17,22 kgf/cm2 dan tinggi (30%: 70%) sebesar 34,25 kgf/cm2. Dan pengujian kuat patah yang terendah pada variasi (30%: 70%) sebesar  13,36 kgf/cm2 sedangkan yang tertinggi (30%: 68,5%) sebesar 16,98 kgf/cm2. Semakin banyak campuran limbah industri, maka dapat terjadi peningkatan pada nilai kuat patah serta terjadi penurunan pada nilai kuat tekan.

Abstract

Elektroda merupakan sumber energi yang dialiri arus listrik dalam transfer elektron. Dimana elektron dapat berpindah dengan menggunakan larutan elektrolit. Elektroda terbagi menjadi dua yaitu elektroda bermuatan positif dan elektroda bermuatan negatif. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mempelajari analisis elektroda Cu-Zn terhadap tegangan, arus dan daya listrik bio-baterai larutan sari apel hijau. Variasi pengukuran volume yang dilakukan adalah 200 ml, 300 ml dan 400 ml dengan menggunakan metode sel galvani. Berdasarkan analisa yang telah dilakukan diperoleh nilai optimum pada volume 400 ml yaitu tegangan : 1,91 V, arus 3,51 mA dan daya listrik 6,70 mW.
