Abstract

Prefentive and currative efforts of COVID-19 in pesantren is a crucial points to be done in order to conduct conducive and safe learning situation. This community service aims to form, train and assist Santri Husada in carrying out its role in the health sector of Islamic boarding schools. This campus environmental service program offers many paradigm shifts for students by allowing them to participate in maintaining the health of pesantren residents who have previously appeared to disregard health protocols. It was carried out in three phases, namely education and outreach, training, and intensive mentoring from March to May 2021 at Darul Faqih Islamic Boarding School Malang. The survey results on students’ knowledge, attitudes and practices towards COVID-19 showed a good score with the correlation (R-square: P-Value) knowledge-attitude (0.167: 0.000), knowledge-practice (0.060: 0.000) and attitude-practice ( 0.051: 0.000). This community service program was carried out in collaboration with LP2M Universitas Negeri Malang, UPT Wagir Health Center, Polyclinic of Universitas Negeri Malang and the COVID-19 Task Force, Wagir District, Malang Regency. The Santri Husada Program has made a real contribution in suppressing the spread of COVID-19 in the Islamic boarding school environment and led it a tough Islamic boarding school area.

Abstract

Through the implementation of the Aswaja learning model in schools, this community service aims to develop Muslims with religious-nationalist personalities.It was carried out in three phases of activities, namely education & outreach, implementation & strengthening and intensive mentoring from March to May 2021 at SMP Darul Faqih Indonesia, Malang Regency. The results of the activity assessment showed a change in Aswaja's attitudes and practices in fostering religious-nationalist values in students. This also has implications for strengthening religious moderation in the school environment. The results of the correlation test of students' attitudes and practices showed a score (R-square: P-value) of 0.126: 0.000, which indicates that this activity has a significant impact. The implementation of the Aswaja learning model is aimed at providing a balanced understanding of religion and nationalism. Strengthening the understanding of religious moderation with a nationalism - religious spirit will be an important ingredient in the development of peace culture education-based schools in Indonesia

Abstract

Ferris et al. (1992) suggests three political consequences in the working environment for individuals: First, leaving the organization; Second, remain a member of the organization but silent not participate in political activity, and; Third, remain a member of the organization and actively engage in political activities. Research explores the third consequence through the dynamics of career motivation. Research randomly sampled 76 civil servants from five sub-district offices in Jombang District Government. The data of career motivation measurement and perception of organizational politics were analyzed by structural equation model. The results of the analysis show that employee career motivation will increase in the perceived political environment. The research findings explained that being an active member of the organization and actively involved in political activities can be understood as increasing career identity, career insight and career resilience. The career identity in a perceived political environment can be understood as an increased work involvement and desire for upward mobility. Work involvement can be understood as increasing job involvement, professional orientation, commitment to managerial work and primacy of work. Desire for upward mobility can be understood as the increasing need for advancement, need for recognition, need to dominate, financial motivation and ability to delay satisfaction. Career insights in a perceived political environment can be understood as increasing objectives and clear paths of objectives, the flexibility of goals, the need for change, social percepptiveness, realistic expectations, career decisions, and future orientation. Career resilience in a perceived political environment can be understood as increased self-efficacy, risk-taking, and non-dependence. Self-efficacy can be understood as an increasing self-esteem, need autonomy, adaptability, internal control, achievement, initiative and creative needs. Risks taking can be understood as increasing the tendency to take risks, not afraid to fail, no need for security and tolerance of uncertainty. Dependence can be understood as a decrease in career dependence, the recognition of superiors and subordinates. Research findings prove organizational politics is functional, support for positive perspective, and counter the flow of political understanding as selfishness behavior and contrary to organizational goals.

Abstract

Anak adalah generasi penerus bangsa pada masa yang akan datang, maka dari itu anak harus dididik dan dipersiapkan matang-matang baik itu dalam hal pendidikan informal yaitu pendidikan yang diberikan kepada anak sebelum mereka sekolah, maupun pendidikan formal yang yang dilakukan di luar rumah yang merupakan pendidikan kelanjutan dari pendidikan informal yang tak kalah pentingnya untuk bekal hidup dimasa depan anak-anak.Kemiskinan merupakan kondisi yang serba terbatas dan terjadi bukan atas kehendak orang yang bersangkutan. Penduduk dikatakan miskin bila ditandai oleh rendahnya tingkat pendidikan, produktivitas kerja, pendapatan, kesehatan dan gizi serta kesejahteraan hidupnya, yang menunjukkan lingkaran ketidakberdayaan. Kondisi kemiskinan dapat disebabkan oleh rendahnya taraf pendidikan.Untuk itulah tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh tingkat kemiskinan orang tua terhadap prestasi belajar siswa melalui pemenuhan kebutuhan sekolah. Banyak siswa dari keluarga miskin yang tidak mampu memenuhi kebutuhan belajarnya sehingga agak menghalangi prestasi belajarnya. Peneliti menemukan masalah-maslah baru yang ada di lapangan, yakni terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara tingkat pemenuhan kebutuhan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa di kelas XI tahun ajaran 2015/2019. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan koevisien jalur sebesar 0,807 dan nilai sig 0,000 < 0,05.Tidak terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara kemiskinan orang tua terhadap prestasi belajar siswa tahun ajaran 2015/2019. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan koefisien jalur sebesar 0,012 < 0,05.Temuan empiris membuktikan bahwa jika kebutuhan terpenuhi maka akan menyebabkan pretasi belajar akan meningkat. Karena siswa membutuhkan fasilitas untuk belajar. Dengan demikian guru diharapkan lebih memperhatikan prestasi belajar siswa dengan mengoptimalkan fasilitas-fasilitas yang tersedia agar siswanya dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar. Memantau dan mengarahkan siswa untuk tekun belajar, khususnya di lingkungan sekolah agar dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajarnya. Sedangkan bagi orang tua hendaknya memotivasi dengan selalu memberikan nasihat dan memantau anaknya dalam hal belajar dan memberikan arahan tentang pendidikan bagi anaknya. Orang tua sebaiknya juga selalu memberikan dukungan yang dapat berupa fasilitas belajar dan bisa juga secara non material pada anaknya untuk selalu berprestasi. Dengan adanya dukungan dari orang tua, dapat menumbuhkan keinginan dan sikap yang baik bagi siswa dalam belajar.

The objective of this research are to know: 1) the relationship between counselor involvement, management capability, members participation to the financial performance of the Kopontren; 2) the relationship between management capability to the members participation and the relationship between management capability to the financial performance of the Kopontren; 3) the relationship between members participation to the financial performance of the Kopontren. This research was carried out using survey method and taking the primary and secondary data. The primary data were taken from the respondent of 12 counselors from the sample of 12 Kopontren, 36 members of management. The data of members participation were taken using secondary data. The result of this research shows that: 1) the counselor involvement, the management capability and the members participation are together related to the financial performance of the Kopontren; 2) the counselor involvement is related to the management capability, the members participation and the financial performance of the Kopontren; 3) the management capability is related to the members participation, the financial performance. The members participation is related to the financial performance of the Kopontren. Abstract

This study aims to determine the perceptions and responses of Islamic Religious Education teachers to educational policies during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results of this study provide an overview of technical policy making in educational units. Government policy towards the implementation of Islamic education raises pros and cons in society. This study shows that Islamic religious education teachers in public schools and colleges have different responses to online learning. 70% of Islamic Religious Education teachers said that they agreed with government policies in an effort to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic. However, 24% of them said that this policy seemed forced on all sectors of education. The interesting thing revealed in this study is that Islamic Religious Education teachers have a high level of optimism towards the government regarding overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. This study used a qualitative model with in-depth interviews with 9 Islamic Religious Education teachers at 4 schools of various levels. The interview instrument was previously validated by an expert

Abstract

[Bahasa]: Radikalisme menjadi masalah serius yang dihadapi bukan hanya Indonesia tetapi juga di berbagai negara. Kegiatan radikalisme ini memberikan gambaran bahwa negara tidak akan pernah lepas dari gerakan transnasional radikal. Internalisasi nilai karakter religius nasionalis diperlukan untuk mencegah semakin merebaknya paham ekstrim tersebut. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan sebagai bentuk kepedulian dan kerjasama antara Indonesia dan Jerman untuk menciptakan suasana keberagamaan yang inklusif. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah memberikan sumbangsih pemikiran melalui pelatihan para diaspora Islam Indonesia dalam beragama di tengah gempuran ekstrimisme barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan yang diselenggarakan secara daring dalam 2 fase. Fase pertama berupa pelatihan Hujjah Aswaja untuk memberikan edukasi pemahaman toleransi dan semangat moderasi beragama. Fase kedua berupa pendampingan internalisasi nilai karakter religius nasionalis secara massif selama 3 bulan. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menunjukkan peningkatan wawasan kebangsaan dan keagamaan yang signifikan. Kegiatan ini mampu memberikan stimulus nasionalisme Indonesia bagi diaspora yang sedang berada di Jerman khususnya dan menjadi bekal memaknai keberagaman dalam perspektif Ahlussunnah Wal Jama’ah (Aswaja) di Jerman. Kata Kunci: hujjah aswaja, nasionalis, radikal, religius [English]: Radicalism is a severe issue that affects many nations, not just Indonesia. This radicalism activity shows how the nation will always be connected to radical international movements. Internalization of nationalist religious character values is needed to prevent the spread of extremist ideology. This community service was a form of concern and cooperation between Indonesia and Germany to create an inclusive religious atmosphere. This community service aims to contribute ideas through training Indonesian Islamic diasporas in religion amid the onslaught of western extremism. The method used was training that was held online in two phases. The first phase was Hujjah Aswaja training to provide education on understanding tolerance and the spirit of religious moderation. The second phase was the assistance in internalizing nationalist religious character values on a massive scale for three months. The results show a significant increase in nationalism and religious insight. This community service program can provide a stimulus for Indonesian nationalism for diasporas who are in Germany in particular and become provisions for interpreting diversity from the perspective of Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah (Aswaja) in Germany.
