Abstract

Kewirausahaan (entrepreneurship) ialah kemampuan kreatif dan inovatif yang dijadikan dasar, kiat, dan sumber daya untuk mencari peluang menuju sukses. Kesejahteraan atau nilai tambah dari masyarakat sebagai tujuan dari kewirausahaan itu, dilakukan melalui pengungkapan gagasan baru, penggalian sumber daya, dan merealisasikan gagasan itu menjadi suatu kenyataan yang menguntungkan.Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dengan memberdayakan masyarakat khususnya santri dan santriwati Pondok Pesantren Al Mujahidin Balikpapan yang beralamat di Jl. Soekarno Hatta Km. 10 Balikpapan Utara. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada hari Kamis 13 Desember 2018 pukul 08.00 sampai selesai. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan melalui seminar young entrepreneurship, praktik langsung membuat inovasi produk kuliner (roti dan kue), dan praktik pengemasan dan pemasaran. Peserta dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok. Setiap kelompok membuat produk roti dan kue yang berbeda. Kelompok pertama praktik membuat roti manis, kelompok kedua praktik membuat muffin, kelompok ketiga membuat swiss roll.

Abstract

The speech was chosen because it was the first time President Jokowi used English in a speech at an international forum. This speech became a hot topic among economists because at that time Indonesia was experiencing an unstable economic situation. The research purposes are to describe the types and functions of speech acts and to describe the obedience and deviation of the politeness principles in President Jokowi's speech. The method used in this research is descriptive method, describing data based on existing facts or phenomena that are empirically alive to its speakers, resulting in notes in the form of language descriptions. The conclusions are (1) There are various types of illocutionary speech acts: assertive speech acts, commissive speech acts, expressive speech acts, expressive speech acts, and declarative speech acts. (2) Realization of obedience and deviation of President Jokowi's speech, including two utterances adhere to the maxims of wisdom, one utterance adheres to the maxim of humility, one deviation from the maxim of generosity, and two utterances deviate from the maxim of humility. (3) There are no utterances containing obedience or deviation from the maxims of praise, agreement, and maxim of sympathy.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the Mind Mapping Method to improve students' abilities in learning English mainly in Speaking material. The research method used is a qualitative-descriptive approach. Where students of the Tax Accounting Study Program who were taking English 2, totaling 31 people, were the research subjects. This class was chosen because in the Even Semester of the 2021/2022 Academic Year, they received material in the field of Speaking. The data collection method uses several methods, Interview Method, Observation Method, and. Data analysis uses several steps, reducing data, presenting data, and verifying data to draw conclusions. The results of the data analysis are presented in a descriptive form. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that (1) a positive trend is shown from the application of the Mind Mapping Method (2) The results of the questionnaire after the implementation of the Mind Mapping Method indicate satisfaction.
