Abstract

Quotient on the work readiness of students both partially and simultaneously. This research was an ex-post facto with a quantitative approach. The population of this study was 874 strata-1 students of the Faculty of Economics, Yogyakarta State University. The sample size was 275 students taken by using the proportional cluster random sampling technique. Data was collected by a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression.  The results  showed  that:  (1)  soft skills  and adversity quotient together had a positive and significant effect (p = 0,000), the simultaneous contribution of the two variables to job readiness by 33% and 67% was influenced by other variables not examined. (2) soft skills have a positive effect on work readiness (p = 0,000) with a contribution of 22%; (3) Adversity quotient has a positive effect on work readiness (p = 0,000) with a contribution of 11%. The results of this study can be followed up by  providing learning that emphasizes improving soft skills.

Abstract

Abstrak: Koperasi Membina Wirausaha Berkarakter Indonesia. Perekonomian Indonesia lebih banyak didukung oleh para wirausaha yang cenderung berkarakter kapitalis-liberal. Para wirausaha ini tidak banyak jumlahnya tetapi menguasai sebagian besar modal di Indonesia. Perusahaan besar tersebut lebih banyak berbentuk non koperasi sehingga cenderung membentuk wirausaha yang kapitalistis dan kurang pancasilais. Para wirausaha Indonesia harus diwadahi dalam suatu bentuk badan usaha yang berlandaskan Pancasila dan UUD 1945, serta memiliki nilai-nilai dan prinsip kerja yang mecerminkan karakter Indonesia. Badan usaha yang demikian itu adalah koperasi. Koperasi dengan landasan, asas, nilai-nilai, dan prinsip kerjanya dapat menjadi wadah para wirausaha Indonesia untuk mengembangkan kegiatan ekonominya dengan tetap mengaktualisasikan nilai-nilai keindonesiaan yang pancasilais yang menjadi karakter bangsa Indonesia. Nilai-nilai keindonesiaan yang dapat dikembangkan dalam badan usaha koperasi ini antara lain nilai-nilai keagamaan, kejujuran, ketebukaan, kedinamisan, keadilan, kepedulian, demokrasi, kemandirian, tanggung-jawab, serta kekeluargaan (kerjasama dan kebersamaan). Kata Kunci: koperasi, wirausaha, karakter Indonesia. Abstract: Cooperative Fostering Entrepreneur with Indonesian Characters. The Indonesian economy is more widely supported by liberal capitalist entrepreneurs. Their number is not numerous but they enjoy most of the capital in Indonesia. Most of these business entities is not cooperative and they tend to be more capitalistic businesses. Indonesian entrepreneurs should be accommodated into business entities based on Pancasila and UUD 1945. Furthermore they should have Indonesian characters in their values and work ethics, such as religious values, honesty, openness, dynamism, fairness, caring, democracy, independence, responsibility, and cooperation and togetherness. It is believed that cooperative as a business entity fulfills those requirements. Ness values that can be developed in a cooperative business entities include religious values, honesty, openness, dynamism, fairness, caring, democracy, independence, responsibility, and familial (cooperation and togetherness). Keywords: cooperative, entrepreneur, Indonesian characters.

Abstract

The tuna industry in Pulau Morotai holds significant economic potential. However, its utilization has primarily focused on tuna loin, while byproducts (waste) remain largely underutilized. This study aims to identify and analyze the economic potential of tuna byproducts in Pulau Morotai Regency. Data was collected from PT Harta Samudera during 2020-2022, encompassing tuna production, byproduct types, and volumes. The findings reveal that tuna waste accounts for 40.90% of the total tuna body weight. This waste comprises heads (15.45%), bones (10.45%), viscera (6.82%), and skin (3.64%). The estimated potential for processing tuna waste into fishmeal reaches 61,282.5 kg per year, with an economic value of Rp 1,225,650,000. Processing this waste can enhance the income of fishermen and fish processing industries, reduce environmental pollution, and support food security.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu, dengan menggunakan satu kelompok eksperimen dan dua kelompok kontrol. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X MAN 2 Mataram. Jumlah sampel tiga kelas yang diambil secara acak (random sampling). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) pendekatan saintifik dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran berbasis projek (PBP) efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi berprestasi dan jiwa kewirausahaan siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi dengan signifikansi 0,04, dan 2) pendekatan saintifik dengan metode pembelajaran berbasis projek (PBP) lebih efektif dari pada metode pembelajaran konvensional dalam meningkatkan motivasi berprestasi dan jiwa kewirausahaan siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi dengan signifikansi 0,04 masing-masing variabel pada kelas eksperimen, 0,056 dan 0,090 masing-masing variabel pada kelas kontrol pertama, 0,483 dan 0,555 masing-masing variabel pada kelas kontrol kedua.Kata Kunci : pendekatan saintifik, metode pembelajaran berbasis projek, metode pembelajaran konvensional, motivasi berprestasi, jiwa kewirausahaan.         Abstract: This study was a quasi-experimental research using one experimental group and two control groups. The population of this study were all students of class X MAN 2 Mataram. The technique of taking samples used random (random sampling). The results of this research show that: 1) the scientific approach using project-based learning (PJBL) method is effective in improving students’ achievement motivation and entrepreneurial spirit in economic subjects with 0.04 of significance level, and 2) the scientific approach project-based learning method is more effective than conventional teaching methods in improving students’ achievement motivation and entrepreneurial spirit in economic subjects with 0.04 of significance level in each variable for the experimental class, whereas first control class in each varibel is 0.056 and 0.090, and then the second control class in each varibel was 0.483 and 0.555.Keywords: Scientific Approach, Project-Based Learning Method, Conventional Teaching Methods, Achievement Motivation, and Entrepreneurial Spirit.
