Abstract

AbstrakTujuan dari Penelitian ini adalah menganalisis dampak gaya kepemimpinan atas keterikatan kerja pegawai Pusat Penelitian dan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Air, Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif dan verifikatif. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 orang pegawai negeri sipil kantor pusat Puslitbang Sumber Daya Air yang diambil secara proporsional. Adapun metode penentuan sampel yang digunakan adalah convenience sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan situasional di Puslitbang SDA lebih termasuk kedalam gaya kepemimpinan selling, terutama jika dibandingkan dengan gaya kepemimpinan telling, participating, dan delegating. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa keterikatan kerja di Puslitbang SDA termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Selain itu, hasil analisis regresi sederhana pada penelitian ini mengungkap dampak yang bermakna penting dari gaya kepemimpinan atas keterikatan kerja.  Keragaman varian penjelas keterikatan kerja yang ditinjau dari gaya kepemimpinan tergolong moderat, sehingga hal ini membuka peluang yang lebih besar untuk studi lebih lanjut di masa mendatang. Kata Kunci: gaya kepemimpinan, keterikatan kerja, pegawai AbstractThe purpose of this research was to analyze the effect of leadership style to work engagement at the Centre for Water Resources Research and Development, Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing. Abstract

Knowledge sharing has an important role in the management of any organization. It can lead to increased knowledge creation, collaboration level, and level of innovation, which, in turn, increases organizational performances. However, few studies have empirically examined the effect of knowledge sharing activities on an individual's belief in a public sector organizational setting, especially in Indonesia. This study was conducted to analyze the role of knowledge sharing in affecting the activities of creative self-efficacy within public organizations. This study used purposive sampling which designed to focus on employees who have positioned as a researcher in one of Directorate of Ministry of Public Works and Housing of the Republic of Indonesia. The questionnaire used in this study was adapted from Brockhus and Yu instruments. The result of this study shows that there is a positive and significant effect of knowledge sharing activities on creative self-efficacy. The higher the level of knowledge sharing activities within the organization, the more it will encourage creative self-efficacy. The majority of the respondent in this study that classified as Y generation (Millenials) was the main reason of the differences between the conclusion of this study and previous ones who argues that knowledge sharing initiatives are more difficult to be implemented in public sector organization as many of public sector officers believe that the activities of knowledge sharing meant losing power and an extra work surface.

Abstract

Public Service Motivation (PSM) has become a basic important thing in employee’s self who work in a public sector organization. It has been previously recognized that behavioural researchers in organizational studies make efforts to develop a new set of motivational theories that only apply in the context of public organization. The purpose of this article is to identify the exploration of various things related to public service motivation. By using literature review, this study identifies preliminary empirical and theoretical literature that particularly discusses public services motivation, particularly for preliminary research including in the category of causality research (cause and effect). Some findings in this study reveal the positive effects of the antecedents of Public Services Motivation that is the most recognizable, which are personal characteristics, job characteristics, and employee perceptions about organization. Furthermore, the main outcome form of Public Services Motivation is attitudes (satisfaction and commitment) and individual behaviour (such as employee performance, turnover intention, and additional role behaviour-ex. OCB (Organizational Citizenship Behaviour)). The results obtained in preliminary empirical outcomes that are shown in the form of theoretical and empirical mapping about antecedents and outcomes of public service motivation, in which could be used as a strong empirical basis of depth study about public service motivation in the future.

Abstract

Evaluation of the training program is one of the important stages in the implementation of the training program. Evaluation of the training program is carried out with the aim of assessing the level of success or effective and efficiency of all aspects in the training program. Evaluation of the training program at the BPSDM of DKI Jakarta Provincial was carried out using the Kirkpatrick evaluation model at the reaction level. In the evaluation of the training program at BPSDM of DKI Jakarta, it was found that there were still problems in the program evaluation that was not optimal. This research was conducted using qualitative methods with data collection using interview techniques. The data is analyzed using a fishbone diagram, so can get the root of the problem. Based on the results, there are no SOP related to the evaluation, the evaluation system hasn't been updated, lack of awareness of organizers, evaluators and participants. To optimize the evaluation of training programs at BPSDM DKI Jakarta, it can be done: 1) Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Program Evaluation; 2) Develop an evaluation system; 3) Provide guidance for participants in the palatia program; 4) Provide training for organizers and evaluators.
