Abstract

The reserach aims at analyzing the influence of organization communication on the high education service quality in Bandung City. It applies descriptive method and survey-explanatory method.. Descriptive method is used to describe all variables analyzed in this thesis. Surveyexplanatory method is used to illustrate the influence of organization communication variables on the high education service quality in Bandung City. The organization communication variablesconsist of organization communication climate and organization communication satisfaction. The result shows that the grade of organization communication influnce on Bandung City the high education service quality is determined by the variables of organization communication climate and organization communication satisfaction, which simultaneously contribute 44.30 %. The other 55.70 % is influenced by such fators as the availability of facility and work mechanism. Partially, the organization communication climate influences the education service quality as much as 42.10%. The other 57.90 % is influenced by such fators as the availability of facility and work mechanism. At the same time, organization communication satisfaction influences the educationservice quality as much as 30.60 %. The other 69.40 % is influenced by such fators as the availability of facility and work mechanism.

Abstract

Implementation of Village Digitization is a program that is currently being pushed by the central government to advance village governments in developing governance and services provided to the community, this also encourages Pagerwangi Village in West Bandung Regency to be able to carry out village digitization. The program implemented by the Pagerwangi Village Government is a village administration service system in collaboration with the Village Development Study Center which aims to make it easier for the community to receive services provided by the village government, one form of the village administration service system designed by the Pagerwangi village government. related to correspondence needed by the community in the hope of being more affective and efficient than the previous service. The village administration service system is currently still in the drafting process because there are still some shortcomings and obstacles faced so that it takes time to be applied to the community

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas praktik manajemen risiko di perguruan tinggi dengan menekankan pada pentingnya manajemen risiko di lembaga pendidikan tinggi. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengulas analisis risiko pada konteks institusi pendidikan tinggi. Penelitian ini didasarkan atas pendekatan terintegrasi dari proses manajemen risiko pada perguruan tinggi yang bertransformasi ke perguruan tinggi vokasi. Studi ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif dalam mengkaji analisa risiko pada Politeknik STIA LAN Bandung, sebagai perguruan tinggi dibawah naungan Lembaga Administrasi Negara yang telah bertransformasi menjadi Politeknik sejak tahun 2020. Berdasarkan penerapan kerangka kerja manajemen risiko ISO 31000:2018 yang menjadi dasar dalam mengelola risiko, hasil analisis risiko menunjukkan bahwa risiko terpenting berdasarkan nilai risiko yang ditemukan adalah risiko operasional berkaitan dengan kurikulum berbasis kompetensi vokasional. Risiko lain yang terpenting adalah tentang risiko reputasi yakni berkaitan dengan risiko akreditasi serta publikasi penelitian. Temuan analisis risiko ini menjadi bahan informasi yang sangat penting terutama dalam konteks institusi pendidikan tinggi yang telah bertransformasi secara kelembagaan. Ke depan, institusi pendidikan tinggi yang bertransformasi akan lebih dituntut untuk mempersiapkan dirinya dengan lebih baik untuk mengambil perspektif risiko yang luas.

Abstract

This study discusses constructing constructs that form dimensions of the quality of health services and their effects on patient satisfaction. The object of this research was conducted at the Sumedang District Health Service Center. By using quota sample, 100 target sample determined taken from two Health Service Center, Sumedang Selatan Health Center and Kotakaler Health Center. Data analysis techniques using path analysis with the SmartPLS. Further t-test will be conducted to see the significance of the factor weights for each of the constructs in research model. From the results of the analysis and the results of the study, not all of the health service quality models consisting of six dimensions were confirmed well. Two of the six dimensions of service quality, that are Assurance and Empathy, were found to have no significant effects in increasing patient satisfaction at the Sumedang District Health Service Center. Research suggestions include the following: (1) Future studies are expected to use a research model that is longitudinal; (2) Improvement of personal skills, especially in terms of interpersonal skills from all staff, both for medical staff and services.

Abstract

Public Service Motivation (PSM) has become a basic important thing in employee’s self who work in a public sector organization. It has been previously recognized that behavioural researchers in organizational studies make efforts to develop a new set of motivational theories that only apply in the context of public organization. The purpose of this article is to identify the exploration of various things related to public service motivation. By using literature review, this study identifies preliminary empirical and theoretical literature that particularly discusses public services motivation, particularly for preliminary research including in the category of causality research (cause and effect). Some findings in this study reveal the positive effects of the antecedents of Public Services Motivation that is the most recognizable, which are personal characteristics, job characteristics, and employee perceptions about organization. Furthermore, the main outcome form of Public Services Motivation is attitudes (satisfaction and commitment) and individual behaviour (such as employee performance, turnover intention, and additional role behaviour-ex. OCB (Organizational Citizenship Behaviour)). The results obtained in preliminary empirical outcomes that are shown in the form of theoretical and empirical mapping about antecedents and outcomes of public service motivation, in which could be used as a strong empirical basis of depth study about public service motivation in the future.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology should be balanced with the quality of human resources. It turns out that there are still many problems that occur related to information and communication technology. Not only from the general public, but also from the State Civil Apparatus. This study uses a qualitative method. Data were taken through questionnaires, interviews and secondary library sources. Based on the questionnaire distributed in Sumedang Regency, there are still many inaccurate answers related to digital literacy. In fact, this ability is very important at this time to carry out various government functions. One way that can be done as a solution is through training or training.

Abstract

Organizational commitment is an important form of attitude from an employee towards his organization. The purpose of this study is to examine the importance of organizational commitment from the perspective of social exchange theory. With a social exchange perspective, the research model was built by integrating perceptions of organizational support and job satisfaction into having an impact on organizational commitment. The context of the situation during the pandemic has its own color in this study, especially with situations that require various jobs to be carried out remotely or away from home, so the extent to which employees remain committed to their organizations from the perspective of social exchange. This study takes a sample of ASN who are working in the Bandung Raya area. The data analysis technique uses path analysis, which aims to examine the effect of perceived organizational support on organizational commitment directly or indirectly through job satisfaction. The results showed that every relationship between variables found that the beta coefficient value was in the significant category. This confirms that empirically, social exchange theory can apply in pandemic conditions, especially in building ASN commitment to their organizations as a manifestation of the accountability of public sector organizations.
