Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the learning process of drawing batik motifs in grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Tanjung Raja. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, which is a research method that seeks to describe a symptom, event, event, which is happening at the present time. The research objects in this study were teachers and students, namely teachers of the arts and culture subjects at SMP Negeri 3 Tanjung Raja and grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Tanjung Raja. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the evaluation activities that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the learning activities take place very well, it can be seen from the student learning outcomes achieved. The appropriate learning method is very learning activities to make students more ready to take part in learning to draw batik motifs.ABSTRAKTujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran menggambar motif batik pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 3 Tanjung Raja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah deskriftif kualitatif, yaitu suatu metode penelitian yang berusaha mendeskriftifkan suatu gejala, peristiwa, kejadian, yang terjadi pada saat sekarang. Objek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa yaitu guru mata pelajaran seni budaya di SMP Negeri 3 Tanjung Raja dan siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 3 Tanjung Raja. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan kegiatan evaluasi yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung dengan sangat baik dapat dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa yang dicapai. Metode pembelajaran yang tepat sangat kegiatan pembelajaran membuat siswa lebih siap dalam mengikuti pembelajaran menggambar motif batik.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran; Menggambar Motif Batik

Abstract

The objective of the researcher was to find out whether there was any significant effect toward the students who were taught listening using the cake application of the tenth-grade students of state senior high school 2 of  Tungkal Jaya. The population in this study was all class X for the academic year 2021/2022 . The total population was 153 students from 5 classes . The sample consists of students taken from classes X MIA 1 and X MIA 3 using purposive sampling . A quasi - Experimental design with Nanequvalent control group design pre - test and post - test was used in this study . In collecting the data , the researcher used a written test , and then the data was analyzed using normality , homogeneity , and a t - test . The homogeneity test score for the pre-test and post-test experiments was 0.214. The normality test was more significant than 0.05, Furthermore , the calculation result of the compatibility t - test was 2,322 , which was higher than the critical value of t - table 1.71, The null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected, while the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. Meaning that there was a significant effect toward the students who taught listening using the cake application of Tungkal Jaya and those who were not.

Abstract

The main problem of this study was " is there any significant effect on the students' listening achievement after being taught by using Nearpod and those who are not?. The method used in this study was quantitative or quasi-experimental method. The data collected by using written test and online based test on Nearpod Website. The data were analyzed through matched t-test formula and percentage of analysis to find out the effectiveness of teaching listening through Nearpod and Conventional Method. It was found out that the value of t-obtained was 8.12 where the value of the t-table at 0.05 significant level for two tailed with 18 (df) was 2.100. It means that there was significant difference between the result of pre-test and post-test especially the experimental class. It can be stated that the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. It is indicated that Nearpod Website Strategy could increase students’ listening ability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat ada atau tidak adanya pengaruh pemberian reward terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 160 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian berupa kuantitatif kolerasi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 160 Palembang dan sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 160 Palembang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa adanya pengaruh pemberian reward terhadap minat belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi linear sederhana yang menunjukan angka yang signifikansi sebesar 0.000 < 0.05 yang artinya Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, dimana Ha berbunyi “Adanya pengaruh pemberian reward terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 160 Palembang”. Hal tersebut menyatakan bahwa pemberian reward memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 160 Palembang.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to investigate students' perceptions of their reading skills in novels on the Wattpad application. The research method employed a mixed-method approach, utilising questionnaires, interviews, and documentation to collect data. The population of the study consisted of 11th-grade students at PGRI Senior High School 2 in Palembang. The sample for this study was XI MIPA 1, comprising 36 students from PGRI Senior High School 2 in Palembang. The majority of students (64.7%) fell into the "Good" category based on their responses to the questionnaires. The results of the study revealed that 9 students were classified as "Very Good," 19 students as "Good," 8 students as "Bad," and no students fell into the "Very Bad" category. Based on the students' scores, it can be concluded that the use of the Wattpad application was effective in improving student learning outcomes. This indicates that the Wattpad application was highly beneficial for students, as it provided ample opportunities for them to learn English.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to examine the impact of utilizing cliff board media on student learning outcomes in a first-grade class at SDN Rawadadi. The research method employed was experimental research, specifically utilizing a Pre-Experimental Design known as the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population for this study consisted of 20 first-grade students at SDN Rawadadi, and the entire population was selected as the sample. The results of the calculations indicated a T-count value of 5.748, which is greater than the T-table value of 1.734 in the T-test sample. Furthermore, the sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.000, which is less than 0.05, meeting the prerequisites for hypothesis testing. Therefore, the hypothesis was accepted. Based on the hypothesis testing data, it can be concluded that the utilization of cliff board media has a significant impact on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the impact of implementing the Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) model on the achievement of English language learning for grade IV students at SD Negeri 201 Palembang. The background to this research arises from the tendency for the learning process to be teacher-centered (one way or conventional), causing low student interest and resulting in unsatisfactory learning outcomes in class IV SD Negeri 201 Palembang. The research method used is quantitative with Quasi Experimental Design and Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Sampling was carried out using a total sampling technique on 35 class IV students at SD Negeri 201 Palembang. The results of the t-test (Independent Sample t-test) show a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.001 < 0.005, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the application of the Task-Based Language Teaching learning model has a significant effect on the English learning outcomes of class IV students at SD Negeri 201 Palembang.

Abstract

Implementing character education in elementary schools has become mandatory. Because apart from the rules, it is also the obligation of educational institutions to educate their students. This article aims to explore how character education can be implemented effectively in the context of forming students' learning motivation in English lessons. English is a foreign language that has a central role in the world of education. In line with current curriculum demands, English language learning in schools is expected to not only focus on increasing students' communication competence in English, but also have a positive impact in instilling and shaping students' character and fostering motivation in learning. The research method used is field research, qualitative approach, primary and secondary data sources, data collection techniques using observation, interviews, documentation, data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing (verification). The research results obtained at SD Negeri 231 Palembang as an implementation of character education include: students are more enthusiastic and enthusiastic when learning English. In its implementation there are inhibiting factors including limited time and inadequate facilities

Abstract

This thesis discusses the influence of the Buzz Group Discussion Learning Method on Student Learning Outcomes in English Subjects at SDN 69 Palembang. This research aims to determine (1) the English learning outcomes of class III students at SD Negeri 69 Palembang (2) to determine the English learning outcomes of students using the buzz group discussion learning method (3) to determine whether there is an influence of the buzz group discussion learning method on the results learning English for class III students. This type of research is Quantitative research with Pre-experimental design in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest design, the subjects of this research are class IIII students at SD Negeri 69 Palembang, the sample is class III as the experimental class, and class III as the control class. Based on the results of descriptive data analysis, the average score for the two groups was obtained, namely the control class (pretest) at 41.25, while the results for the experimental class (posttest) were 67. Meanwhile, based on the results of the t-test calculations, it was found that the tcount value was 8, 02 while ttable with df 38 with a level of 0.05 then ttable = 2.75. So it is stated that tcount > ttable = 8.02 > 2.75 so that tcount is declared significant where Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, the hypothesis states that there is an influence of the buzz group discussion learning method on the English learning outcomes of class III students at SD Negeri 69 Palembang.

Abstract

Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat pengaruh pemberian reward terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 136 Palembang. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh reward terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 136 Palembang. Penelitian ini, menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian True Experimental Desain “Pottest-Only Control Desaign”. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 136 Palembang Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV B sebagai kelas eksperimen berjumlah 29 sjkjhiswa dan kelas IV A sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 29 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Tes dan dokumentasi, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat dibuktikan dari hasil posttest dikelas eksperimen yang diberikan perlakuan pemberian reward memperoleh nilai rata-rata 75,51 dan kelas kontrol memperoleh nilai rata-rata 55,89 Serta melalui pengujian hipotesis dengan uji t atau independent sampel T-test diperoleh nilai signifikan 0,000<0,05 dan ????ℎ???????????????????? (4,875)> ???????????????????????? (2,003) yang bearti ???????? di tolak dan ???????? diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh pemberian reward terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 136 Palembang.
