Abstract

AA field is a unitized asset operated by Corporate Oil Company since May 2018. The main producing formation of AA field is a reef build-up carbonate reservoir. The field has been on production since 2004 with OOIP of 297 MMSTB. As of November 2019 the cumulative production was estimated 120.7 MMSTB with RF of 41%. The carbonate reservoir has properties with relatively high heterogeneity –both vertically as well as laterally – which leads to production variation of the wells. The production performance shows an estimated 30% decline and significantly increasing water-cut. The production data shows a much faster water production compared with the cumulative production, which is also the greatest challenge in the AA field.There are several key contributing factors for the water production in AA field:Water channeling behind casing due to poor cement bond. This is supported by Chan Plot analysis.Uneven production of the wells leading to varying water rise and introduces difficulty in water contact determination.Water coning due to production exceeding the critical rate.Several efforts have been performed to optimize production, namely: identification of the potential of remaining hydrocarbon (bypassed oil) in the wells by evaluating current saturation evaluation through downhole surveillance, estimation of current water contact and cement bond improvement.The preparation steps of the production optimization process are summarized below:Screening of Candidate WellsEvaluation of Cement Bond QualityWellsite Execution for Bypassed Oil EvaluationWell PreparationOptimum C/O Log to Evaluate Current Saturation and to Identify Bypassed Oil ZonesBypassed Oil Interval ProductionThis section discusses one of successful cases in the production optimization effort implemented in the AA- field.AA-12 wellThe last production of AA-12 well was 84 BOPD. Chan plot showed possibility of water channeling, which was supported by CBL result. The zone of existing perforation interval was indicated to have “free pipe” behind the casing. Remedial cementing was then performed until sufficient zonal isolation was obtained. After subsequent CBL confirmed good zonal isolation, C/O log was then performed. The C/O log result indicated several reservoir zones with potential bypassed oil. The new production interval was selected based on following consideration: So between 55-60%, height above current OWC of 185 ft (56 m), distance to the adjacent wells of 1306 ft (398 m), porosity 12-17% and Production test of the new perforation resulted in 2186 BOPD with 0% water-cut.

Abstract

AbstrakLapangan Panas Bumi “S” merupakan lapangan panas bumi water dominated, lapangan ini sudah diproduksikan dengan satu unit PLTP dengan kapasitas terpasang 60 MWe. Dalam pengembanganya, akan dilakukan pembangunan PLTP Unit II. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memodelkan reservoir  dengan bantuan software tough2 dan melakukan simulasi pengembangan lapangan “S” melalui pembangunan PLTP Unit II dengan penambahan lima sumur produksi. Metodologi yang digunakan dengan membuat pemodelan reservoir dengan bantuan software tough2. Pertama yang dilakukan menentukan grid yang akan dibuat, kemudian memasukan material, porositas, permeabilitas, konduktivitas panas dan specific heat. Kemudian melakukan inisialisasi dengan melakukan running selama enam puluh tahun. History matching data produksi tiap-tiap sumur dilakukan dengan  merubah parameter permebilitas batuan reservoir sampai terjadi matching tekanan dan temperatur antara kondisi aktual dengan model. Setelah dilakukan history matching kemudian dilakukan pengembangan PLTP Unit II dengan menambah lima sumur. Dari hasil simulasi dengan pengembangan PLTP Unit II  didapatkan kapasitas terpasang 55 MWe selama tiga puluh tahun[L1] .Kata Kunci : Pengembangan,panas bumi, software though 2

Abstract

One of the efforts that can be done to evaluate the performance of water injection in a field is by monitoring the injector wells. Observations can be made by looking at the flow rate and injection pressure at each injector well. The response given by each injection well will be able to represent the injection performance on a field scale. The EX structure is a structure that has been produced for more than 40 years. In addition, water injection has also been applied for approximately 16 years. There are four injection wells operating in this EX structure with an average injection flow rate of 3000-8000 bwipd per well. Evaluation of injection well performance is carried out by conducting a Hall Plot on each injection well from the start of the injection process to the last data obtained. Based on the evaluation results, it was found that there was plugging in the EA-IIS and EJ-IVS injection wells. Stimulation activity is needed in both wells to restore the well injection capability. Meanwhile, for the EA-IS and EB-IIL injection wells, there are no significant problems in those wells so they can still function properly as injection wells.

Abstract

Minyak jelantah adalah minyak goreng yang digunakan secara berulang. Minyak goreng bekas yang sudah digunakan berulang-ulang mengalami perubahan sifat, seperti terbentuknya asam lemak bebas dan bau tengik. Minyak jelantah dapat menimbulkan masalah pada kesehatan. Minyak jelantah juga menimbulkan dampak buruk terhadap lingkungan. Di sisi lain konsumsi BBM secara nasional terus meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Sedangkan minyak bumi merupakan bahan bakar yang tak terbarukan, sehingga cadangan minyak bumi sebagai bahan bakar akan habis di masa yang akan datang. Oleh karena itu, perlu untuk melakukan penghematan penggunaan bahan bakar minyak dan gas bumi perlu dikembangkan pemakaian energi baru terbarukan. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk manfaatkan minyak jelantah yang berasal dari minyak kelapa sawit untuk pembuatan biodiesel. Pemanfaatan minyak jelantah merupakan salah satu alternatif yang sangat potensial untuk dikembangkan pada warga setempat. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan ilmu kepada masyarakat mengenai pembuatan biofuel. Kegiatan penyuluhan dilakukan oleh tim dosen dan mahasiswa Universitas Trisakti dan Universitas Pembagunan Nasional “Veteran” Yogyakarta secara daring dan luring serta dihadiri oleh 17 warga Kelurahan Curug di Kotamadya Bogor. Berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test diperoleh kenaikan tingkat pemahaman sebesar 8.3%. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan tersebut dapat memberikan peningkatan pemahaman peserta.
