Abstract

Generally violence means as physical and psychology attack and also someone mental integrity. The violence type concerned in family such as physical, psychological, sexual and economy. The violence concerned at family triggered or caused of many factor and reasonsuch as jealous, envy, low economy, low education and forced marriage. In general, every Christian family member ever concern violence in their family in different way. That conclusion obtained through Descriptive naturalistic method. The writer interview the catholic family in Tofa Parish appropriate with the research location which definite to support the Thesis that study on this main research. Based on this situation, church present as a lighter through pastoral agent in creation, catechism, family pastoral and marriage preparation courses. Sint Paul read the context in His era mandate Christ love become base of the husband and wife in the same manner as intended on Ephesians 5: 22-33. Although Paul remark became a sign or base for from a new catholic family. That love must always alive on a true catholic family.

Abstract

The fundamental reason for the researchers choosing this title is: the reality of the lack of awareness of the people about Sunday's eucharist at the Santo Michael Parish Church. A Christians have not understood the importance of the eucharist in everyday life. The Eucharist is very important in the life of the ummah as the source and peak of the whole human life (PUMR 16). Why is that? Because there is salvation that comes from God. The formulation of the problem to be raised is the extent to which the understanding and awareness of the people in the parish of Saint Michael Kada with factors that support and hinder people's understanding and solutions to overcome them. The purpose of the research is to answer the formulation of the problem presented. The foundation of the theory developed is an explanation of concepts and theories relating to the Eucharist. Also uses Biblical and theological fundamentals about the Eucharist. The hypothesis that was built in this study was that the people did not understand the Eucharist culminating on Sundays, and the efforts that would be made by means of socialization and policies made by the Parish Priest. The research method used in this study is naturalistic descriptive. Naturalistic is another name for qualitative methods which refers to the description of the natural situation of the people and the presentation of data that is data analysis. Descriptive refers to the level of explanation or process to explain something. The location of this study is the Santo Michael Parish Church, to support the efficiency and effectiveness of research. The instruments of this study were parish priest, 2 catechists, 1 DPP and 3 people as data sources. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The technique of testing the validity of the data is by extending observations and increasing perseverance. Data analysis techniques are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study and discussion of the title above are based on research that is located in the Santo Michael Parish of Kada approximately one month. Data sources were 7 people including the parish priest. Questions given to informants amounted to 11 questions to answer the problem formulation. As for the problems found in the participation of the people in attending the Eucharistic celebration on Sunday, most of the Kada parishioners did not attend the Eucharistic celebration on Sundays, it was caused by some people who did not understand the meaning of the Eucharist on Sunday so they preferred trading on the market. Abstract

Marriage and the family is one of the most precious of human values. The Church wants to talk and provide assistance to the families and try to let your husband-wife can live up to the values of marriage. to the families who are still wavering and doubt, anxious and agitated and was looking for the truth, and to the families who unjustly blocked for mengahayati their married life freely. With the support of the first group, second group lit up, and helps other groups, then the Church offers services of service to everyone who is wondering about the ultimate purpose of marriage and the family. The pastoral care of the family is the church services maintenance reflective of God against his creation, especially against humans through pastoral service tercerminlah provide God's attitude and concern for human life. Therefore, by calling pastoral care marriage and family thing that want is shown is how the effort and the attention of the Church in the nurturing and care of the wedding so keep Harmony, sturdy, and sejathera. The planned marriage of God is cintah which is based on a marriage of love. This communion of love must always be fought so that remains so an ideal marriage, according to the draft of the God and happy. Happiness marriage can happen when Christ was present as the center of the marriage relationship (cf. Ephesians 5:22 -33). Love, loyalty and relationship between continued after built and maintained in and with Christ because Christ is the source of true life. Abstract

The reason i took this title is because based on my obsevation that there are a large part of the Watuwawer village community who still don’t understand the meaning of the rite Ahar, where they only run and follow this ceremony but lack understanding of the meaning contained in the Ahar ceremmony. Based on the topic of the problem, the author takes a number of theories that are considered important so they can be used as reference material to answer problems in the field and also as material so that the community of Watuwawer can know and understand the meaning contained in the rite of Ahar. For any effort is made to provide understanding to the the public relationship between rite of the Ahar and the sacrament of baptism.The research method used is descriptive method is a  method in examining the status of human groups The researech method used is descriptive method with a method in examining the status of human groups, an object, a condition, a system of thought or a class of events in the present and qualitative research is a study used to investigate, dicover, describe and explain the quqlity or privilege of social influences that cannot be explained, masured, or drawn throug a quantitative approach. The results of research in thesis writing said that the rite of Ahar ceremmony with the sacrament of baptism has the same meaning identity to someone. Where a person is baptized or bathed with water wich becomes a symbol that liberates and present a person as a sign of acceptance of someone as a member of the tribe or a member of the church.

Abstract

Bersyukur merupakan sebuah ungkapan rasa terimakasih manusia kepada Allah. Di NTT khususnya masyarakat Ngada, memiliki tradisi budaya pengucapan rasa syukur atas segala yang diterima dari Sang Pencipta yakni Reba. Reba merupakan sebuah tradisi budaya yang dilakukan masyarakat Ngada dengan tujuan mengucapkan syukur kepada yang Ilahi sebagai pencipta alam semesta atas berkat panen yang telah diperoleh selama setahun. Focus permasalahan yang akan dikaji adalah karena adanya pengaruh globalisasi dan kemajuan teknologi maka upacara ini dilaksanakan karena hanya karena kebiasaan dan hanya untuk berpesta ria tanpa menggali makna dari upacara Reba yang mengandung nilai-nilai religious, moral dan sosial. Buktinya; Umat lebih aktif dalam berpesta dan bergembira ria dibandingkan dengan aktif dalam mengikuti kegiatan di Gereja dan dalam mengikuti upacara Reba yang penuh makna syukur. Penulis mengkaji tema ini dengan tujuan agar dapat mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman umat tentang upacara Reba yang dilaksanakan setiap tahun. Karena upacara Reba bila dikonfrontasikan dalam tradisi Gereja saat ini, adalah sebagai bentuk upacara syukur panen. Metode yang dipakai dalam pengkajian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif naturalistik. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam kajian ini adalah bahwa pada umumnya umat memahami upacara Reba sebagai sebuah upacara syukur panen secara budaya.

Abstract

One of the most urgent times for Catholics is Advent. During this time, Catholics prepare to welcome the coming of Jesus Christ on Christmas. At this time, Catholics reflected on themselves as helpless humans by expressing repentance for the coming of the Messiah. The aim of this research is to interpret the Advent period as a period of preparation and a time of repentance for the people at KUB Yohanes Maria Vianey. The method used in the research is descriptive naturalistic. Naturalistic refers to another name for qualitative methods. It is called naturalistic because the writing was done in the original conditions of the people. Meanwhile, descriptive shows the process of explaining a problem. Based on the results of interviews obtained from 5 informants, it is known that the level of understanding of the people regarding the Advent period is quite good. However, it cannot be denied that some people do not interpret the Advent season as a time of preparation for God's Christmas. During the Advent season there are people who party hard, make noise in the neighborhood and don't even go to church on Advent Sunday. Therefore, one of the efforts offered is community catechesis to help enlighten the congregation about the urgency of the Advent season.

Abstract

Research focuses on the problems experienced by post-marriage families. The aim of this research is to determine the role of the Church in assisting families after marriage. Building a new family through a legal marriage bond according to the Church and the state does have many obstacles and is not easy. There are many discussions about family crises marked by violence and divorce, a very strong reason is the mental attitude that rejects moral values ​​in marriage, resulting in a decline in the marriage bond. The method used in this research is a qualitative, naturalistic descriptive method. The informants for this research consisted of married couples, guardians, parents and parish priests. The research results show that the role of the Parish in assisting post-marriage families has not been implemented, despite the fact that many young families experience separation and end up in separation, the St. Francis Xaverius Wolotopo Parish has not been able to overcome developing factors such as cultural factors. This lack of awareness can be seen in the absence of work programs and follow-up support activities for post-marriage families.

Abstract

The Indonesian state hopes that every religious follower will have an attitude of tolerance in social life. This tolerance is alsoexpected to be realized in the campus environment for students. The focus of this research is to study the attitude of tolerance between religious communities in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church in the Second Vatican Council document "Nostra Aetate" which explains that the Catholic Church does not reject anything from other religions that is considered true. The method used in this research is descriptive naturalistic. The results of this research show that religious tolerance is allowing and not interrupting other people's religious activities in social interactions or in establishing social relationships. Religious tolerance also means not picking and choosing, not having negative or negative prejudices against other religions, religious fanaticism, considering other religions as infidels, insulting other religious symbols. Kupang city university students have implemented an attitude of tolerance in social interactions. They respect and respect each other's religion and beliefs
