Abstract

This research was conducted in Sirsak Street, Kisaran Timur Village, Asahan District, North Sumatra. Flat Topography, height  25 m asl, and coordinate point 203'-326' North Latitude and 991'-1000' East Longitude. The experiment was conducted in May ― July 2017. This research is based on the Randomized Block Design (RBD) factorial with 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factors was the pruning of 3 levels P0 = Control (no pruning), P1 = pruningand leaving 6 branch ( 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12), P2 = pruning and leaving 4 branch ( 7, 8, 9 and 10). The second factors is application of POP Supernasa fertilizer with 4 levels S0 = Control ( 0 ml/l water/block), S1 = 20 ml/ 10 L water/block, S2 = 40 ml/ 10 L water/block, S3 = 60 ml/ 10 L water/block. The result of research that pruning P2 = pruning and leaving 4 branch ( 7, 8, 9 and10), the best production contained is the parameter diameters of fruits 18,01 cm and production/plant 4,11 kg. Applications of POP Supernas S3 = 60 ml/ 10 L air/plot, the best production contained is the parameter flower emergence 19,33 day, fruit emergence 23,33 day, fruit diameters 17,97 cm and productions 4,10 kg/ plant. The interactions pruning and POP Supernasa application on growth and yield of melon showed no significant effect on all parameters was observed.

Abstract

Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Silau Lama Kecamatan Silau LautKabupaten Asahan, dengan topografi datar dan tinggi tempat ± 15 m dpl.Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai bulan Februari 2019. Penelitian ini disusun berdasarkan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan dua faktor perlakuan dan tiga ulangan, faktor pertama adalah pemberian pupuk NPK Tawon (N) terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu N1 10 g per wadah bambu, N2 20 g per wadah bambu, dan N3 30 g per wadah bambu, dan fator kedua adalah ketebalan media tanam (M) terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu M1 = Ketebalan 7 cm dalam wadah bambu, M2 = Ketebalan 14 cm dalam wadah bambu dan M3 = Ketebalan 21 cm dalam wadah bambu. Pemberian Pupuk NPK Tawon tidak menunjukkan pengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 7, 14 dan 21 hari setelah tanam, tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah daun umur 14 hari setelah tanam dan pengaruh nyata umur 21 hari setelah tanam  dan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi per tanaman sampel dan produksi per plot. Perlakuan ketebalan media tanam tidak menunjukkan pengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 7, 14 dan 21 hari setelah tanam, tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah daun umur 14 dan 21 hari setelah tanam serta tidak pengaruh nyata terhadap  produksi per tanaman sampel dan produksi per plot. Pemberian pupuk NPK Tawon dan Ketebalan Media Tanam tidak memberikan interaksi nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman kangkung.

Abstract

This research was carried out at Durian street, Kisaran Naga Village, Kisaran Timur, AsahanDistrict, North Sumatera. The study was conducted in April to June 2017. This research wasarranged based on Factorial Randomized Block Design with 2 treatment factors and 3replications. The first factor was cutting of tubers with 4 levels ie: P0 = without cutting tuber, P1 = cutting tuber of 1/3 of shoot, P2 = cutting tuber of 1/4 of shoot, and P3 = cutting tuber of 1/5 of part shoots. The second factor of plant density with 3 levels of spacing is J1 = 20 cm x 10 cm, J2= 20 cm x 15 cm, and J3 = 20 cm x 10 cm. The results showed that tuber cutting treatment had significant effect on all observed variables, whereas cutting of tuber 1/3 of shoot (P1) was the best treatment. Treatment of plant density had significant effect on all observed variables, where the density with plant spacing of 20 cm x 20 cm (J3) was the best treatment. The interaction between tuber cutting and plant density had no significant effect on all observed variables.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di laksanakan di lahan kebun percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Asahan, Kabupaten Asahan, Provinsi Sumatera Utara, dengan topografi datar, ketinggian tempat 22 mdpl. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari 2019 sampai Maret 2019.  Alat-alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah cangkul, gembor, timbangan, meteran, pisau, plat dokumentasi, plat perlakuan, plat ulangan dan spanduk penelitian, serta alat tulis. Bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah benih jagung pulut varietas Victoria F1, pupuk dasar, pupuk NPK Mutiara, ZPT HANTU, dan air. Penelitian ini disusun berdasarkan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan 2 faktor perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah pupuk NPK Mutiara (M) dengan 4 taraf yaitu M0 = 0 g/plot, M1 = 50 g/plot, M2 =  100 g/plot, M3 = 150 g/plot. Faktor kedua adalah ZPT HANTU dengan 3 taraf, yaitu Z0 = 0 ml/liter air, Z1 = 4 ml/liter air, dan Z2 = 8 ml/liter air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk NPK Mutiara secara tunggal dengan dosis 150 g/plot mampu menghasilkan tinggi tanaman 175,33 cm, jumlah daun 14,81 helai, produksi tongkol berkelobot per tanaman 190,30 g, produksi tongkol tanpa kelobot per tanaman 160,11 g, produksi tongkol berkelobot per plot 1,84 kg, dan produksi tongkol tanpa kelobot per tanaman 1,40 kg. Pemberian ZPT HANTU secara tunggal dengan konsentrasi 8 ml/liter air mampu menghasilkan tinggi tanaman 168,35 cm, produksi tongkol berkelobot per tanaman 163,33 g, produksi tongkol tanpa kelobot per tanaman 138,77 g, produksi tongkol berkelobot per plot 1,61 kg, dan produksi tongkol tanpa kelobot per tanaman 1,23 kg. Interaksi antara pemberian pupuk NPK Mutiara dan ZPT HANTU menunjukkan pengaruh yang tidak nyata terhadap parameter amatan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Asahan, Kabupaten Asahan, Provinsi Sumatera Utara, dengan tofografi ketinggian tempat ± 23 m dpl. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai Agustus 2018. Bahan penelitian terdiri dari benih kecipir, ampas teh, pupuk KCl, pupuk kandang, insektisida matador 25 EC (bahan aktif deltrametrin 2 ml/liter) dan air. Alat penelitian yang digunakan adalah cangkul, garu, gergaji, martil, paku, tang, jangka sorong, triplek, kuas, cat, meteran, timbangan, gembor, kayu, tali rapiah, tugal dan alat tulis. Penelitian ini disusun berasarkan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan 2 faktor perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama cara pemberian ampas teh dengan 3 taraf, yaitu: A0 = tanpa ampas teh, A1 = dengan ditabur, A2 = ampas teh dicampur dengan air. Faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk KCl dengan 4 taraf, yaitu K0 = tanpa perlakuan, K1 = 7,2  g/plot, K2 = 14,4 g/plot, K3 = 741,6 g/plot.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Asahan University, Kisaran Timur District, Asahan Regency, North Sumatra Province from March to May 2018. The design used in this study was Factorial Randomized Block Design with two factors and four replications. The first factor is the technique of giving rice washing water with a concentration of 250 ml / liter of water consisting of 2 levels: B1 = watered, B2 = sprayed. The second factor when spraying consists of 3 levels: W1 = morning, W2 = daytime, W3 = afternoon. Parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of fruit per plant (fruit), production per plant (g) and production per plot (kg). The results showed that the technique of giving rice washing water affected plant height up to 72.83 cm, number of fruit per plant 55.38 fruit, production per plant 3.88 kg and production per plot 12.86 kg. Watering time affects plant height at 2 MST, up to 10.85 cm and production per plot 12.49 kg but does not affect the number of fruit per plant and production per plant. The interaction of water-giving techniques and watering time did not affect plant height at all ages, number of fruit per plant, production per plant and production per plot.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Dusun Benteng Jaya Village, Sei Balai Subdistrict, Batu Bara District, Province North Sumatera with altitude of place 5 m asl, flat topography and climate type C. The research was conducted in May 2017 to 2017. This research was arranged based on Factorial Randomized Block Design with 2 treatment factors and 3 replications. The first factor is the dosage of chicken manure (A) fertilizer with 4 levels: A0 0 kg / plot, A1 = 0.5 kg / plot, A2 = 1.0 kg / plot and A3 = 1.5 kg / plot. The second factor was treatment of crop distance (J), with 3 levels ie J0 = 20 cm x 20 cm (25 plants per plot), J1 = 20 cm x 25 cm (20 plants per plot), and J3 = 20 cm x 50 cm (10 plants per plot). The results of the treatment of chicken manure have a significant effect on the growth and production of onion, with the best dose at 1.5 kg / plot (A3)treatment. Different plant distance treatment significantly affected on growth and production of onion, with the best cropping distance 20 cm x 50 cm (J3). The interaction between chicken manure application and different cropping distance treatment on growth and production of onion showed no significant effect on all parameters observed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Sei Renggas, Jl. Gajah, Kec. Sei Renggas, Kab. Asahan pada ketinggian 15 m dari permukaan laut. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan April sampai Juni 2017. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor perlakuan. Faktor pertama aplikasi media tanam terdiri dari 3 taraf: M1 =Topsoil + sekam padi, M2 = Topsoil + sekam padi + arang sekam (1: 1: 1), M3 = Topsoil +sekam padi + pupuk kandang sapi (1: 1: 1). Faktor kedua pemberian Pupuk Pelengkap Cair (PPC), terdiri dari 3 taraf. P0 = tanpa PPC (0 ml/liter air/plot), P1 = PPC SuperVit (2 ml/liter air/plot), P2 = PPC NASA (2 ml/liter air/plot). Pemberian media tanam berpengaruh terhadap pertambahan tinggi tanaman pada semua umur amatan dan pertambahan luas daun pada umur 4 dan 8 MST. Pemberian pupuk pelengkap cair berpengaruh terhadap pertambahan tinggitanaman pada semua umur amatan, pertambahan luas daun pada umur 4 dan 8 MST dan pertambahan jumlah daun. Tidak terjadi interaksi antara pemberian media tanam dan pupuk pelengkap cair terhadap pertumbuhan bibit tanaman lada.
