Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe social criticism, a real form of man of letters protest against social problems throughher/his literary media. The method used is descriptive method. The results of this study found that Wisran Hadi and Athur S. Nalan conveyed their dislike of social phenomena through drama scripts. This is what is meant by the real form of literary protests through his work. Wisran Hadi through the drama drama"Jalan Lurus"describes his criticisms ranging from individual problems to his own character, to government issues. Whereas Artur S. Nalan through his draft text entitled Sobrat outlined which criticized the depravity of morals and a mindset that did not develop from humans, who were more interested in other regions even though in his area he could live better. In addition, moral problems are the actions of humans who no longer know what is good and what is bad. Conclusion, in general they describe their dislike of human habits in carrying out their lives. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the mastery of PUEBI with the skills of writing text reports on the results of observations. The research method uses correlation with quantitative types. Sampling was done using the cluster random sampling technique. The research instrument is an objective test and a performance test. The results showed that the average value of PUEBI and the value of the observation report were both 76 with good qualifications. The rcount obtained is 0.9030 and tcount 11.3193 with degrees of freedom n-2 (31-2=29), and a significant rate of 0.05. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between PUEBI and the observation report. Keywords: Writing Observation Report Text, Mastery of PUEBI

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model scramble terhadap keterampilan menulis teks editorial siswa SMA N I Situjuah Limo Nagari. Metode yang digunakan bersifat kuantitatif berupa penelitian eksperimen. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara hasil keterampilan menulis teks editorial antara model scramble dengan metode konvensional (thitung= 3,9269 > ttabel=2,000). Simpulan, Pembelajaran kelas eksperimen yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran scamblelebih baik dibanding hasil pembelajaran siswa kelas kontrol yang diajar dengan menggunakan model konvensional. Kata Kunci: Menulis Teks Editorial, Pembelajaran Scramble
