Abstract

Abstract : The aim of the research was to determine the effect of learning models on mathematics achievement viewed from prior competency. The learning models compared were TPS with scientific approach, PBL with scientific approach and direct learning. This was quasi-experimental research with 3x3 factorial design. The population were all students of Junior High School in Sragen. The samples of research were taken by using the stratified cluster random sampling technique and consisted of 297 students. The instruments used were mathematics achievement test and prior competency test. The data analysis technique used unbalanced two ways anova. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded as follows. (1) The students treated with PBL learning model with scientific approach provided better learning achievement than those treated with TPS and those treated with direct learning model. The students treated with TPS learning model with scientific approach provided equal mathematics learning achievement to those treated with direct learning. (2) The students with high prior competency had better learning achievement than those with medium and those with low prior competencies. The students with medium prior competency had better learning achievement than those with low one. (3) In the TPS learning model with scientific approach and direct learning, the students with high and medium prior competencies had better learning achievement than those with low one. In the PBL learning model with scientific approach, the students with high prior competency had better learning achievement than those with low prior competencies and both of them provided the same learning achievement than those with medium one. (4) The students with high prior competency category had the same learning achievement in TPS type of learning model with scientific approach, PBL learning model with scientific approach and direct learning model. In medium prior competency category, PBL learning model with scientific approach provided better learning achievement than TPS learning model with scientific approach did, and both of them provided the same learning achievement as the direct learning did. Meanwhile in low prior competency category, PBL learning model with scientific approach provided better learning achievement than TPS learning model with scientific approach and direct learning model, and TPS learning model with scientific approach provided the same learning achievement as the direct learning did.Keywords: Mathematics Learning Achievement, TPS, PBL, Scientific Approach, Prior Competency

Abstract

The research to find out of the relation between viscosity of the liquid (using Viscosimeter Ostwald) to their indeks of refraction (using ABEE refractometer) have been done. It has been chossed the solution of sugar and also solution of salt, at some percentage of concentration (shown on that density variation), and measured their viscosity. Then, those solutions are measured their indeks of refraction. After that, it would be found the relation between their viscosity to their indeks of refraction. The conclusion, it could be found quite linearly graph of viscosity to indeks of refraction of sugar and salt solution for 10 up to 100% in concentration. Abstract

Abstrak___________________________________________________________________Tujuan penelitian ini adalah dapat mengetahui atau mendeskripsikan sejauh mana peranan tim konstitusi dalam pemahaman hak konstitusional melalui budaya sekolah yang ada di SMA Negeri 5 Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan prosedur penelitian yang menggunakan kata-kata tertulis atau lisan orang-orang dan perilaku yang diamati. Lokasi penelitian yaitu SMA Negeri 5 Yogyakarta dengan subjek penelitian yaitu Pembina Tim Konstitusi, anggota Tim Konstitusi dan siswa. Objek penelitian ini adalah kegiatan-kegiatan yang di lakukan di dalam ke anggotaan Tim Konstitusi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa melalui budaya yang di terapkan d dalam Tim Konstitusi menjadikan siswa anggota Tim Konstitusi memiiliki pemahaman mengenai hak konstitusional sebagai warga negara. Dengan adanya pemahaman akan hak-hak konstitusional menjadikan anggota Tim Konstitusi mampu berpikir kritis, logis dan mampu menyampaikan pendapat di depan umum karena mereka terlatih untuk hal itu, sehingga hal tersebut secara tidak langsung menjadi teladan ataupun conoth bagi siswa maupun warga sekolah.

Abstract

Minuman isotonik merupakan minuman formulasi yang ditujukan untuk mengganticairan, karbohidrat, elektrolit dan mineral tubuh dengan cepat. Minuman isotoniksering dikonsumsi masyarakat tidak hanya sebagai pelepas dahaga atau rasa haus,tetapi juga memiliki kesehatan tertentu. Minuman isotonik dimanfaatkan olehorang yang sedang atau telah melalukan aktivitas fisik, Seperti bekerja danolahraga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya Natrium Benzoatpada minuman isotonik berbagai merk yang dijual di salah satu Swalayan KotaCirebon dan untuk mengetahui kadar Natrium Benzoat pada minuman isotonikberbagai merk yang dijual di salah satu Swalayan Kota Cirebon. Minumanisotonik yang mengandung bahan pengawet khususnya natrium benzoat dalamjumlah berlebihan akan menggangu kesehatan manusia. Natrium benzoatcenderung diserap oleh lambung dan jika dikonsumsi dalam jumlah yang besarakan mengiritasi lambung lalu merusak organ target (hati) setelah menumpuk satujumlah yang berlebihan. Penulisan penelitian ini bersifat Deskriptif yaitu suatumetode penelitian yang dilakukan dengan tujuan utama untuk membuat gambaranatau deskripsi suatu keadaan secara objektif. Penelitian ini dilakukanmenggunakan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini terdapat 1merek mengandung Natrium Benzoat dari 10 merek dan kadar natrium benzoatpada minuman isotonik didapatkan hasil rata-rata 250 mg/kg. Berdasarkan hasilpengolahan data statistik tersebut didapatkan nilai signifikasi (Sig. 1- tailed)sebesar 0.188a,b, nilai tersebut lebih besar dari 0.05 sehingga dapat dinyatakan H0diterima dan H1 ditolak, hal tersebut menunjukan tidak terdapat Natrium Benzoatpada minuman isotonik yang dijual di salah satu Swalayan Kota Cirebon.Kata Kunci: Minuman Isotonik, Natrium Benzoat, Cirebon
