Abstract

Bawang merah adalah spesies dari keluarga Alliaceae yang secara ekonomi merupakan tanaman sayuran paling banyak dibudidayakan di dunia, terutama di benua Asia dan Eropa. Bawang merah berkontribusi signifikan terhadap nilai gizi dalam diet, juga memiliki sifat sebagai obat kesehatan bagi manusia. Berbagai penelitian bawang merah telah dilaporkan, tetapi penelitian yang mengungkap hubungan pupuk organik terhadap pertumbuhan, hasil, dan nilai energi yang terdapat dalam bawang merah selama periode pertumbuhan belum diteliti. Sebuah percobaan dilakukan di Sawangan Kabupaten Magelang, dengan percobaan faktorial yang disusun dalam rancangan acak kelompok lengkap, dengan dua faktor perlakuan dan diulang tiga kali. Faktor pertama yaitu perlakuan dosis pupuk NPK: ½ NPK standar, 1,0 NPK standar dan 1½ NPK standar. Faktor kedua adalah pupuk organik cair: 2 ml/l air, 3 ml/l air dan 4 ml/l air. Dosis pupuk 1,0 NPK standar ialah N 190 kg/ha, P2O5 92 kg/ha dan K2O 120 kg/ha mampu meningkatkan berat umbi kering simpan, berat kering total tanaman, laju pertumbuhan tanaman dan nilai energi. Konsentrasi pupuk organik cair tidak menunjukkan perbedaan terhadap berat umbi kering simpan, berat kering total tanaman, laju pertumbuhan tanaman dan nilai energi. Tidak terdapat interaksi antara dosis pupuk NPK dan pupuk organik cair pada semua parameter pengamatan.

Abstract

A study on the effects of plant support and mulch on the yield plant of cucumber (Cucumis sativus, L.) var. oris was conducted in March - June 2015. The research was in Kembangkuning Village, District Windusari, Magelang. The altitude is 640 m, the soil type is latosol and soil pH is 6.5. The research is factorial (2 x 4) experiment arranged in a complete randomized block design with three replications. The first factor is kind plant support: bamboo and plastic net. The second factor is kinds of mulch, rice straw, black plastic, silveric black plastic and transparent plastic mulch. Plant support from bamboo may increase crop growt that cause higher the weight per fruit and fruit volume. Black plastic mulch and silveric black plastic mulch may increase plant height, leaf number, weight of the fruit, weight per fruit and fruit volume. The highest fruit volume is obtained from the growth of cucumber supported by plastic net on black plastic mulch and silveric black plastic mulch.

Abstract

A research on the effect of the number of leaves on cuttings and kinds planting media on the growth of lime (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle), conducted in July to November 2014.The research location is at Kaliboto Village, District Bener, Purworejo. The altitude is150, the soil is regosol soil and soil pH is 6.0. The method used is a factorial experiment (3x4) arranged in complete randomized block design with 3 replications. The first factor is the number of leaf on cuttings 0, 2, 4 leaves. The second factor is planting media: soil; soil added cocopeat; soil added husk; soil added cow manure (1: 1). The analysis showedcuttingswithtwoleavesare able to providethe highest parameter son shoots length, number of leaves, root length, buds fresh weight, buds dry weight, root fresh weight and dry weight of root cuttings. Media of soil added husk isable to increase shoots length, number of leaves, buds fresh weight, bud dry weight, root fresh weight and dry weight of root cuttings. The different number of leaves on different kinds planting media indicate different growthon all parameters observed exceptroot length.

Abstract

The research studied the effect of dose Trichoderma spp. and composition media on growth durian seedling (Durio zibetinus, L.). Experiment conducted in August until Oktober 2016. Location of experiment in Perbotan, Kalisari, Tempuran, Magelang, Central Java. The latitude of 415 m above sea level, the soil type Latosol with a pH of 6,0. The research method used factorial experiment (3 x 4) are arranged in a complete randomized block design with three replications. The first factor was a goat manure of 1 : 0, 1 : 1, 1 : 2, and 1 : 3. The second factor was the Trichoderm spp. that was 0, 200 and 400 ml/plant. The result of the research a goat manure matter in 1 : 1 increased on lenght of shoots, fresh weight of shoots, dry weight of shoots, fresh weight of roots, and dry weight of roots. Most Trichoderma spp. 200 ml/plant increased on dry weight of shoots, fresh weight of roots, and dry weight of roots. Interaction a goat manure and Trichoderma spp. increased on dry weight of shoot, fresh weight of roots, and dry weight of roots.

Abstract

Research on the Effect of Various Manure and concentration of Pseudomonas fluorescens on Crop Onion (Allium cepa fa. ascalonicum L.) Varietiy Crok Yellow, was conducted from November 2015 until January 2016 Kaliboto Village, District Bener, Purworejo. The Altitude is 190 m, the soil regosol, the average temperature - daily average 23.15 - 27.2 ° C. Rainfall of 2000 - 3000 mm / year. The method used was factorial (4x3) are arranged in a complete randomized block design with three replications. The first factor is kind of manure without manure, cow manure, chicken manure and manure goat. The second factor is the concentration of Pseudomonas fuorescens 0, 10, 20 ml/l. The analysis showed a wide manure can improve of plant height, leaf number, number of cloves per hill, cloves fresh weight per hill, weight savings per hill of dried cloves and cloves per hill diameter onion. The higher the concentration of Pseudomonas fluorescens to 20 ml/l increased plant height, leaf number, number of cloves per hill, cloves fresh weight per hill and tuber dry weight savings per hill of red onion. Different kinds of manure at different concentrations of Pseudomonas fluorescens give the same results on all parameters  observed.

Abstract

Research on agricultural land after the eruption of merapi aims to determine the impact of the effect of  mycorrhizal and organic material to the growth and yield of onion. The experiment was conducted in greenhouse Department of Agriculture, Government of Municipality Magelang, with a factorial experiment arranged in a complete randomized block design, with two treatment factors and repeated three times. The first factor is the treatment of a mixture of organic material and mycorrhizal: cocopeat 20 t/ha+mycorrhizal (10 g/planting hole), husk charcoal 20 t/ha+mycorrhizal (10 g/planting hole) and peat 20 t/ha+mycorrhizal (10 g/planting hole). The second factor is the dose of silty soil consists of four levels: 0, 2.5, 5 and 7.5 t/ha (%). The results showed that the kind of organic material and mycorrhizal added on cocopeat, husk charcoal and peat has not been able to influence the number of leaves, number of tubers per hill, the dry weight of the top of the plant, the dry weight of the roots of plants, dried tubers per hill, and the crop growth rate, The addition of clay soil which increased 7.5% on a sand media merapi eruption is able to increase the dry weight of the top of the plant, and the crop growth rate.

Abstract

Research on efforts to increase the quantity of leaves of mulberry (Morus alba) with a wide high-nitrogen fertilizer and pruning was conducted in August and October 2015. The research location PPUS Candiroto KBM Agroforestry Perum Perhutani Unit I Central Java, in the district of Temanggung. Altitude of 600 m above the surface laut.Jenis latosol soil with a pH of 6. The research was conducted using a split plot experiment (3x3) are arranged in a complete randomized block design, repeated three times. The first factor is kind of Phonska nitrogen fertilizer, Urea and ZA. The second factor is high trimming 40, 60 and 80 cm from the ground. The results showed that fertilization using nitrogen fertilizers can promote the growth of ZA shoot length, shoot number, leaf number, stem diameter shoots, shoots fresh weight and dry weight of shoots on mulberry plants. High-trimming 60 cm of the soil surface increases the best results in the long shoots, shoot number, leaf number, stem diameter shoots, fresh weight tu-nas, and dry weight of shoots on mulberry plants.

Abstract

A research to study the effect of the use of growing media on the growth a seedlings of cucumber (Cucumis sativus, L.) treated approach grafting with pumpkin (Cucurbita moschata).The research had been conducted on December 5, 2014 until January 17, 2015 in the village of Sangrahan, District Kranggan,Temanggung Regency. Altitude ± 600 m. This study used factorial experiment (2x3) arranged in completely randomized design (CRD) with three replications. The first factor: is day of grafting 10, 15, and 20 days aftersowing. The second factor  is growing media cocopeat and husk. The analysis showed that grafting on 15 days led to higher seedling , highest number of successful approach grafting, fresh weight and dry weight of seedlings uper part, as well as the highest root fresh weight. Cocopeat cause the highest number of successful approach grafting, fresh weighting and dry weight of seedlings uper part and higher rooting fresh weight. Grafting on difrent days and grown on different media responded regularly on observed parameters.

Abstract

The research of effort to increase the yield of kale (Ipomoea reptans) was conducted on 01 August 2016 until 06 November 2016. The field experiment was on land of post eruption of Mount Merapi in Sawangan Village, Sawangan District, Magelang Regency. The altitude is 485 m, The soil isregosol with pH 5,5. The research used factorial experiment. One factor treatment of age of harvesting 17, 20, 23, 26, 29, 30, and 32 days after planting arranged in randomized complete block design replicated four times. The results show that the treatments of days of harvesting high significantly influence all observed parameters. Increasing number of days of harvesting may increase parameters observed. The highest yield of edible parts is on 27th days of harvesting.

Abstract

The research about effort to increase the yield of sweet corn (Zea mays var. saccharata Strurt.) using mikoriza doses and planting distance was conducted in August until November 2016. Location in forestry and agriculture institute axperimental Dlimas, Tegalrejo, Magelang. The altitude 478 m using latosol soil with pH 6,8. A research tipe (3X3) factorial experiment arrangged in randomized completed, block design repeated three times. The first factor was mikoriza dose of 0, 30 and 60 g/plant. The second factor was planting distance of 70 cm X 20 cm, 70 cm X 30 cm and 70 cm X 40 cm. The result of the research showed that mikoriza dose of 30 g/plant can increase the highly on number of leaves, weight of cob with husks per plant, weight of cob without husks per plant, cob lenght, composition of sugar and number of lines. Planting distance of 70 cm X 20 cm gived the highest plant height. While planting space of 70 cm X 40 cm gived the highest of leaves number, weight of cob with husks per plant, weight of cob without husks per plant, cob lenght, composition of sugar and the number of lines. Increasing mikoriza dose and planting distance different on the number of leaves.
