Abstract

An individual or a communities that impact disaster will begin their new life, its mean to differ from condition likes before disaster was happened. This change is one of the condition which susceptible towards appearance many pressures in life to every human. Following the guidebook "self care-series Psycho-education" by Indonesia Red Cross cooperates with American Red Cross is mentioned that stress is condition which somebody have the body will react towards pressure/ difficultness/problems which it faced. And this reaction can be felted to each everybody. The painful’s event like natural’s disaster and/or armed conflict so more potential and risk full to get pressure/ stress and trauma in each people which were experienced. Stress can use much energy and also make somebody be weak because the bodies invulnerability system will descrease after experienced stress. The important of social support and religion character in return new spirit to life for Aceh’s society in continue the life has resqued many individual from stress or pressure which had experinced. Abstract

Upaya menemukan sumber energi alternatif terbarukan akhir-akhir ini semakin gencar dilakukan seiring meningkatnya kebutuhan manusia akan konsumsi energi yang semakin tinggi. Penukar Kalor Udara-Tanah atau Earth-Air Heat Exchanger (EAHE) merupakan salah satu solusi yang dapat dikembangkan dengan memanfaatkan energi yang tersimpan dalam tanah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kinerja EAHE terhadap penurunan suhu udara yang masuk ke dalam ruangan uji maupun yang keluar, nilai Number of Transfer Unit dan juga nilai Coefficient of Performance pada pipa tanam bawah tanah. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa EAHE yang digunakan sebagai pendingin pasif ruangan dapat memberikan kinerja yang cukup baik dengan penurunan suhu di ruangan uji yang mencapai 3–6o C. NTU terendah pada tanggal 3 September 2018 diperoleh sebesar 3,9977, dan tertinggi sebesar 3,9879 dengan kecepatan udara 2 m/s. Sementara itu, pada tanggal 20 Agustus 2018, di peroleh nilai NTU tertinggi sebesar 3,6503 dan terendah sebesar 3,6463 dengan kecepatan udara 3 m/s. Saat kecepatan udara 2 m/s, nilai NTU rata-rata 3,9925 sehingga nilai COP rata-rata 4,011. Ketika kecepatan udara 3 m/s nilai NTU rata-rata 3,6481 maka nilai COP rata-rata 3,5880

Abstract

The purposes of this research are 1) to analyze the differences of the effect of gender, years of study, and major on the academic self-efficacy, and 2) to predict academic self-efficacy in determining academic achievement. This is a quantitative research using a survey approach. The location of this study is STKIP Singkawang (School of Teacher Training and Educational Science). The sample used is 223 students, which consisted of 112 males and 111 females. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire using a Likert scale. The data were analyzed using SPSS with descriptive statistical techniques, correlation, regression, and univariate GLM analysis. The results confirm that; 1) different majors have a significant influence on academic self-efficacy compared to the gender and years of study. The students of social sciences major have higher academic self-efficacy than those in the exact sciences major.; 2) self-efficacy has a positive relationship and is also a predictor in determining academic achievement. This shows that any improvement in academic self-efficacy will be accompanied by an improvement in the academic achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to compare their perceptions between gender and their age toward using the teachers’ feedback in their classroom. This study applied a quantitative method with survey method, which allowed the data to be quantified and analyzed using statistical analysis. In collecting the data, the Questionnaire Feedback, Identification, School Trajectories that measure their perceptions about Effective Teachers’ Feedback (EFT) and Ineffective Teachers’ Feedback (IEFT) have been used. The samples are 125 students, who are 53 boys and 72 girls, also 17 and 18 years old. The data are analyzed by descriptive statistics. The findings showed that there were statistically significant differences perceptions among students across their genders (p≤0.001) on EFT perceived. Furthermore, there is a significant difference between 17 years old students and 18 years old students (p≥0.05) on EFT perceived. As the result, the students’ gender and their age have main effect, with girls perceiving are more effective than boys, which leads them to report receiving more feedback from their teachers when compared to boys, and 18 years old students’ percept more than 17 years old students on teachers’ feedback toward their reading achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepercayaan diri terhadap intensitas penggunaan media sosial. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi S-1 Farmasi Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Ubudiyah Indonesia berjumlah 173 yang berusia 12-15 tahun dan memiliki akun media sosial. Peneliti berhipotesis bahwa kepercayaan diri berpengaruh terhadap intensitas penggunaan media sosial pada mahasiswa. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala kepercayaan diri dengan skala intensitas penggunaan media sosial yang disusun dengan teknik Likert. Skala kepercayaan diri memiliki koefisien reliabilitas Alpha Cronbach (a) sebesar 0,879 dan skala intensitas penggunaan media sosial memiliki koefisien reliabilitas Alpha Cronbach (a) sebesar 0,837. Analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana karena hanya menguji satu variabel bebas dan satu  variabel terikat. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai R square = 0,003 (F =0,434 dan t = 0,659) dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,511. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwakepercayaan diri tidak berpengaruh terhadap intensitas penggunaan media sosial. Kata Kunci         : Kepercayaan diri, intensitas penggunaan media sosial
