Abstract

Efforts to improve the quality of learning require positive changes, to be able to manage learning effectively and efficiently an educator requires knowledge of learning models and strategies. Therefore, in learning reform, what should be done is how to change the pattern of learning activities that can create a learning atmosphere and the learning process feels more interesting. Quality learning strategies are one form of effort to change the pattern of learning models that have been used in the learning process. All activities of educators and students in realizing an effective learning process are formed in a combination of the stages of activities, methods, learning media and the time used in learning activities are summarized in the learning strategy. The purpose of this study was to determine the models and strategies in the learning process. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of library research. The data sources of this research come from books, journals and scientific articles related to learning models and strategies. The results of the study show that the right learning strategy will foster students to be more creative and independent. The selection of appropriate learning models and strategies will be able to foster students to be able to think creatively, independently and adaptively to various situations that occur and may occur. Educators think about and prepare appropriate learning models and strategies so that students are able to receive and process information conveyed by educators.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of the government bureaucracy, especially with regard to organizational efficiency, teamwork, and the relationship between leaders and subordinates at the Dinas Pendidikan in Kabupaten Sukabumi, the factors that support and hinder the performance of the government bureaucracy, especially with regard to service efficiency, teamwork, and leadership relationships. with subordinates. The research method used is descriptive, which is a study that describes the performance of the government bureaucracy from the point of view of the process approach by determining the descriptive variables, namely; service efficiency, teamwork, and leadership relationships with subordinates. The results of the research are the level of performance of the Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Sukabumi in carrying out the function is in a moderate level of performance, the organizational efficiency of the Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Sukabumi in achieving the function of education management is in a good level. Judging from the time indicator used in the implementation of services in the field of education. Judging from the cost indicators used, which are still low compared to the existing needs. Likewise, the employees used for the implementation of educational development services are inadequate compared to the needs required. The performance of the Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Sukabumi in building excellent teamwork to carry out the main tasks and functions of the service is formed on the basis of mutual trust, mutual respect and complementarity among all elements and layers of service. This can be seen from the results of research which shows that the teamwork created by the Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Sukabumi is at a moderate level.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to find out how the role of the press in the May 1998 revolution and to find out the obstacles faced by the press in carrying out its role. This research is descriptive and literary in nature, by analyzing and describing the role of the press in the May 1998 revolution through books, journals, articles, documents and research results related to these events. The background for determining the topic of this research is considering the press as a social institution that has power in the political system and based on the author's observation that the press during the new order was always limited by the government's space for movement, in other words the government carried out strict control over the press, but in situations and circumstances Under such conditions, the press is still able to play a role in realizing democracy in Indonesia, especially in the events of the May 1998 revolution. The news that was critical during the May 1998 revolution presented by the press would undermine the legitimacy of the government regime. The press is also a means for the public to convey input into the political system. Thus, it is clear that the press has a significant role in the May 1998 revolution. The role of the press in democratization is as a means of change and as a means of control and criticism. When it comes to the May revolution, the role of the press as a means of change consists of the press as issues manager, delegitimizing the regime and as a social organizer. The obstacles experienced by the press in carrying out its role are the intervention or restraint of the government on the press and the excitement of the press by electronic media.
