Abstract

PLTS can be a solution that can be used to provide energy in the area provided far from the electricity network. This study aims to examine the feasibility of PLTS development in. Toalang Hamlet is one of the areas in West Kalimantan that has not been electrified, based on analysis in terms of geographical and demographic areas, has the potential to build PLTS. So to examine the feasibility of PLTS development the factors were collected and analyzed using PVSyst software. Of the several factors studied from the average air temperature between 21.0 to 35.4 degrees Celsius and the average humidity between 80% to 90%. Maximum irradiation at 11.00 a.m. and reached a value of 386 kWh / m2, and effective irradiation at the same time reached a value of 362 kWh / m2. The potential data of solar energy obtained from the measurement results with a pyranometer is 680 Watt / m2 at 10:05 WIB using a solar meter measuring instrument. From the results of calculations and analysis using PVSyst software, what is concluded is; PLTS built in the area Centralized PLTS with Off Grid system which has a capacity of 21.84 kWp, load 55.758 Wh / day and Direction of solar panels to the south with a slope angle of 4 (four) degrees. Keywords: Feasibility Study, Renewable Energy, PLTS, PVsyst

Abstract

The increase in population, urban development and road construction are the demands of many communities in obtaining public street lighting for road users by providing better services. Public street lighting has become a necessity for many people, which is very important for two-wheeled, four-wheeled, and many-wheeled drivers for safety and comfort in traffic, especially at night. Therefore, the authors conducted a new research design by arranging public street lighting in the area of ​​the Depok Cilodong highway, with the aim of providing the beauty of the road environment by the model of the arrangement and installation of poles, pole height and PJU lamp models to the road body. Its uniqueness is seen from the perspective of the side of social and environmental impacts that are generally not seen by the local government and the level of evenness of road lighting on road materials is still lacking, so that the impact on the road user community is better and more modern. The method used with the Dialux EVO 8.2 Program for short road lengths can choose street lights taken from the IES Lighting data on the 10W Eco Led, 10 VAC Milky Way, which is installed with a height of 8 meters with a distance between poles 15 meters with a large amount of procurement allows for high costs. For the long distance of the road, you can use the 20W Led Bimasakti Eco street light, 10 VAC, which is installed with a height of 8 meters and 20 meters between the poles. So by analyzing the selection criteria, it is capable of producing street lighting with lighting levels in accordance with SNI 7391-2008 and considering the quantity of material procurement as well as the tipping point which has an impact on financing for installation services.

Abstract

The power plant has several components one of which is the Generator and Transformer which become the vital equipment in a power plant. Therefore from the reliability and sustainability of a generator and transformer is very dependent on the protection system used. In this studi discusses the adjustment of differential releases and more currents and coordination of both in the event of interference obtained from the data processing. The value of the adjusting current in the differential releases of 1.75 A with 0.2% mismatch and 6.3 A more current releases and the coordination between the differential releases and the overcurrent is limited by the delay time set on the overcurrent current with the TMS value of 0.159 and The greater the noise current the faster the working time of the relay provides a trip signal to the circuit breaker.

Abstract

Jaringan Sensor Nirkabel adalah merupakan perpaduan antara Sistem Pengontrolan Pengawasan dan Penerimaan Data (SCADA /Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System) dengan sistem jaringan nirkabel ad hoc. Jaringan sensor nirkabel ini telah berkembang sangat pesat sekali beberapa tahun belakangan ini, karena jaringan sensor nirkabel digunakan dalam berbagai bidang. Oleh karena itu perlu perencanaan jaringan yang sesuai agar tidak terjadi penggunaan energi atau daya yang berlebihan. Dalam tulisan ini dibahas beberapa aspek pada sistem jaringan sensor nirkabel agar penggunaan energi atau daya tepat guna bisa tercapai seperti peletakan lokasi node, sinkronisasi waktu, modulasi, daya pancar, ukuran paket, teknik pengkodean kesalahan, teknik akses media, topologi jaringan, routing dan kompresi data. Kombinasi semua teknik di atas dalam merancang sebuah jaringan sensor nirkabel yang menggunakan baterai membuat setiap node mempunyai masa pakai yang lama sampai beberapa tahun tanpa perlu mengganti baterai.

Abstract

Virtual instrumentation  is a new technology that combines hardware  and software computer technology which replace instrument traditional in measurement so that more efficient and accurate.  One of the softwares that is used within building a virtual instrumentation is made by National Instrument and called  Labview .Combination electronics digital hardware   and software labview build an instrument that can do measurement  as needed withquite cheap  investatment  .In this case Laptop and Labview is used to display temperature and Humidity that are captured by arduino system in the display that is easy to see .   Wihin this article writer do researching about monitoring temperature and humidity  using labview with Arduino system for preventing fire disaster. The sensor used to measure temperature and humidity is DHT11 and the microcontroller used is Arduino Un.  The monitoring humidity and tenperature are did at Laboratory of Industrial Electronic STT PLN Jakarta. The results of this study are monitoring temperature and humidity can be done continuously with the Virtual Instrumentation System. Early detection of fire hazard occurs when the temperature change is monitored, the value rises and the humidity value decreases in a very short period of timeABSTRAK:Instrumentasi virtual adalah suatu  teknologi baru yang menggabungkan teknologi perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak komputer menggantikan alat ukur tradisional dalam pengukuran agar lebih efisien dan akurat. Salah satu perangkat lunak yang digunakan dalam membangun suatu instrumentasi virtual adalah perangkat lunak buatan perusahaan National Instrument yang disebut Labview. Penggabungan perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak Labview bisa membentuk alat ukur yang bisa melakukan pengukuran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan yang diinginkan dengan investasi biaya yang tidak mahal. Dalam hal ini Laptop dengan Labview berfungsi untuk menampilkan hasil penangkapan data temperatur dan kelembaban oleh Sistem Arduino dalam bentuk tampilan yang mudah  dilihat. Dalam artikel ini penulis melakukan penelitian mengenai pemantauan temperatur dan kelembaban  untuk pencegahan bahaya kebakaran. Sistem tersebut digunakan  sebagai pendeteksi dini bahaya kebakaran. Sensor yang digunakan untuk mengukur temperature dan kelembaban udara adalah DHT11 dan mikrokontroler yang digunakan adalah arduino uno.   Pemantauan temperatur dan kelembaban dilakukan di Laboratorium Elektronika Industri STT PLN Jakarta. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pemantauan temperatur dan kelembaban dapat dilakukan secara terus menerus dengan Sistem Instrumentasi Virtual. Pendeteksian dini bahaya kebakaran terjadi saat adanya perubahan temperatur  yang dipantau nilainya  semakin naik  dan nilai  kelembaban yang semakin turun  dalam kurun waktu yang  sangat singkat.
