Abstract

Abdurahman, NIM D2A215001 Analysis of Business Environment PT Adaro Energy, Tbk. Thesis of the Master Program in Business Administration, Post Graduate Program of Lambung Mangkurat University, guided by Saladin Ghalib and Maryono.This study aims to determine the factors of the business environment that are the strengths and opportunities of PT Adaro Energy, Tbk. As well as business environment factors which are weaknesses and threats to PT Adaro Energy, Tbk and what business strategies PT Adaro Energy, Tbk is based on existing environmental conditions.To achieve these objectives this study uses a qualitative approach, type of case study, data collection with interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis with EFE, IFE and SWOT.Of the many strength factors, the most prominent are business models that are integrated from the mine to electricity, low costs, large resource reserves and long-term contracts.Whereas the environmental factors that pose a threat are fluctuating prices, alternative energy, regulatory uncertainty, carbon emission concerns, and the global economic downturn. While the weaknesses of current production are only supported by one mine, remote mining location, long-term investment and high risk, capital intensive and need special expertise.Based on the grand strategy, the business strategy carried out by PT Adaro Energy is aggressive focusing on developing the domestic market and vertical diversification. This aggressive strategy needs to be maintained in accordance with the results of the general electric model calculation that shows Stability.Keywords: Business Environment, PT Adaro Energy, Tbk

Abstract

The companies performance indicators can be seen from the ratio of liquidity, solvency, working capital turnover and profitability. This study aims to prove the effect of liquidity, solvency and working capital ratios on profitability in companies engaged in the cosmetic industry, PT. Mustika Ratu, Tbk and PT. Martina Berto, Tbk,  a quantitative explanatory causality method. The population is the annual report of the two companies in 10 years, a sample of 3 years of financial statements is in 2015-2017.  This study uses multiple linear analysis techniques with data sources are secondary data. The results obtained in this study are; Liquidity ratio (current ratio) partially has a significant effect on profitability (return on equity), solvency ratio (debt to equity ratio) has a partial effect on return on equity, working capital turnover has a partial effect on return on equity, and simultaneously current ratio , debt to equity ratio and working capital turnover affect return on equity. Abstract

Coal mining companies require large investments to carry out their operational activities. This large investment must be accompanied by a solvable capital structure policy. A solvable capital structure supports the company in carrying out efficient asset turnover activities and obtaining ever-growing profitability.This study aims to analyze the causality relationship of Debt to Equity Ratio Before to Total Asset Turn-Over, and Return On Asset. This research is an explanatory study of causality with a quantitative approach. This study considers the principle of going concern and agency theory in which in making sustainable financial decisions from year to year there can be differences in interests between the main stakeholders internally. This study involved data from nine coal companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2013 to 2018 which were selected by purposive sampling with the consideration of the availability of data on the variables studied.The results of this study indicate that the debt to equity ratio before directly has a significant negative effect on total asset turnover, but it has no significant effect on return on assets when controlled by total asset turnover. Total asset turnover has a significant positive effect on return on assets, it has a significant fully positive mediation effect on the debt to equity ratio before.In further research, expected to include other variables as independent variables, such as asset structure, include the fractional elements of total asset turnover, for example, current asset turnover and fixed asset management.Keywords: Debt to equity ratio before, total asset turnover, return on asset

Abstract

Indihome is a new product launched by PT Telkom. It is a challenge for PT This study aims to test the influence of Promotion (X1)and Price(X2) of the Interests Disire (Y) that is mediated by the Trust (Z) on the Customer Indihome in the city of Palangkaraya.Samples were taken as many as85 Indihome Customers in Palangka Raya Cityby using the structural equation model (Structural Equation Model). Data were collected using questionnaire while data analysis usingStuctural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Smart Partial Least Square (Smart PLS) software version 2.0 M3.The test results prove that 1) Promotion has significant effect to Buy Disire Indihome in Palangkaraya City, 2)Price has significant effect to Buy Disire of Indihome Customers in Palangka Raya City, 3)Promotion have significant influence to Indihome Customer Trust in Palangkaraya City, 4)Price have significant influence to Indihome Customer Confidence in Palangkaraya City, 5)Trust has significant influence to Buy Disire of Indihome Customers in Kota Palangka RayaKeywords: Promotion, Price, Trust, Buying Disire
