Abstract

This study aims to analyze and uncover Ibrahim M. Abu-Rabi's arguments which say that acts of terrorism committed by Muslims are not only related to doctrine, but also related to the historical, social, economic and political roots of the States. Arabic and countries which are predominantly Muslim. This research is literature research by analyzing a book written by Ibrahim M. Abu-Rabi. This research found that the Islamic world is facing complex problems in the social, ethnic and cultural fields. These problems are influenced by the existence of three factors; modernization, nationalization, and religious movements.

Abstract

Abstrak Law is a normative rule that govern human behaviors. The development of law as rule is not stagnant in one situation. But, its grew out from the awareness of society that requires the existence of law. Therefore, law always adopts the values that grow in society like; customary law, traditions and religions law. The consequences of laws as social and cultural products, even products of political ideology, making law is always contextual with the reality of society. This article try to understand the unification of marriage law in Indonesia and the problems that arise in the unification process. Unification is process of unify the laws in sociey or unify the national law in society. The article finds that there are many problems arising from the unification of marriage law in Indonesia, especially those related to interfaith marriages. So, it is not surprising that there are so many products of the marriage law probide the interfaith marriage in Indonesia, especially if interfaith marriage involves woman and man Muslims. Keyword: Interfaith Marriage, National Law, Islamic Law Abstrak Hukum adalah aturan-aturan normatif yang mengatur pola perilaku manusia. Hukum tidak tumbuh di ruang yang vakum, melainkan tumbuh dari kesadaran masyarakat yang membutuhkan adanya suatu aturan bersama. Karena itu, hukum selalu mengadopsi nilai-nilai yang tumbuh dan berkembang dimasyarakat; nilai-nilai adat, tradisi dan agama. Konsekuensi hukum sebagai produk sosial dan kultural, bahkan juga produk politik yang bernuansa ideologi, menjadikan hukum selalu bersifat kontekstual. Tulisan ini berusaha untuk mengungkap tentang unifikasi hukum perkawinan di Indonesia dan problematika yang muncul pada proses unifikasi tersebut. Unifikasi merupakan penyatuan hukum yang berlaku secara nasional atau penyatuan pemberlakuan hukum secara nasional. Penulis menemukan adanya banyak persoalan yang muncul dari unifikasi hukum perkawinan di Indonesia, khususnya yang terkait dengan perkawinan beda agama. Maka, tidak heran jika begitu banyak produk undang-undang perkawinan yang menjadi penghalang terjadinya nikah beda agama di Indonesia, khususnya jika melibatkan orang Islam. Kata Kunci: Pernikahan Beda Agama, Hukum Nasional, Hukum Islam

Abstract

The role of Kokoda's woman in West Papua is very significant for helping the family economy. This paper attempts to explain and understand the role of Kokoda women in helping the needs of their families in Sorong City, West Papua. Using a qualitative approach, the writer tries to find data and facts in the field through observation and interview. So, the problems discussed in this paper are in accordance with the expected targets. The author found that Kokoda womens are one of Indonesian women as hard worker. They able to take on a dual role as wives and work outside the home, to help their husbands to fulfill their daily needs

Abstract

The personal construct of each individual is certainly different. There are individuals who easily understand human behavior in their environment. There are also those that take longer. Deaf children tend to be suspicious of their environment. They felt that people around them often mocked them. The existence of this suspicion, makes him often aloof and hostile to the environment. This attitude is also one of the elements inhibiting the development of his personality. This research is a qualitative research with data collection tools using observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the role of personal personality construct is a theory that emphasizes that every human being has the ability to construct his behavior according to the concept that will be used in implementing every event around their life. The role of teachers, parents and also the environment is very large in the social life of deaf children and affects their social life. Social interaction of deaf children can also be done by means of non-verbal communication (sign language). Public acceptance is very influential on the communication of deaf children

Abstract

The current phenomenon of sexual violence cannot be denied giving special attention in various sectors. Cases of sexual violence that often occur in the West Papua region itself has become a concern for the community. Family resilience is certainly very important to be implemented and considered as an effort to prevent and protect sexual violence against women and children. The purpose of this article is to find out the form of family resilience as a preventive and protection effort from acts of sexual violence in the Papua region. The research methodology used is descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that there were three forms of family resilience, namely physical resilience, social and religious resilience, and psychological resilience. Papua is known for its traditional religion and culture. In solving every problem, it is also inseparable from the involvement of customary rules, so there is a need for views and strategies for family resilience that are related to the customary rules themselves. Therefore, the 3 components described by the researcher in this article are considered important as a form of family resilience, so as to prevent and protect families, especially women and children, from sexual violence

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the sign language method in reading and writing the Koran for deaf children in Muslim minority areas in Papua. This type of research is Experimental with Pre-Experimental design, using the One Group Pre-test Posttest Design design model. The sample in this study were 5 people with purposive sampling technique. Methods of data collection using tests, interviews, observation and documentation. Meanwhile, to analyze the data using the normality test Shapiro Wilk Test, test the validity of the content by the lecturer as an expert validator and test the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test hypothesis. The results showed that the value of the pretest was 125 and posttest was 298 and experienced an increase of 138.40% and the results of the hypothesis test were 0.042 <0.05. Based on the results of the explanation above, it shows that the sign language method has an effect on the reading and writing of the Qur'an for deaf children in the Muslim minority area of ​​Papua..
