Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberi pemahaman kepada siswa tentang operasi hitung penjumlahan bilangan bulat dengan menggunakan garis bilangan. Terdapat beberapa siswa yang merasa kesulitan dan keliru dengan soal penjumlahan bilangan bulat. Metode yang digunakan wawancara, observasi, tes kemudian data dianalisis dengan kualitatif deskriptif. Dalam pembelajaran matematika para siswa belum memahami konsep secara penuh dalam penyelesaian masalah. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara, observasi dan tes bahwa pemahaman siswa dalam operasi hitung penjumlahan bilangan bulat menggunakan garis bilang lebih mudah dipahami siswa dibanding tidak menggunakan garis bilangan.

Abstract

Evaluation is carried out to measure the success or failure of the activity or learning process. This can be seen through the learning outcomes achieved by students which show the success of educators in managing these activities. In addition, with evaluation, educators can measure the extent to which students can capture or absorb the knowledge conveyed by the educator. The type of evaluation in this study is formative evaluation. Formative evaluation is an evaluation that is carried out while the program is still in progress or when the program is still approaching the start of activities. The purpose of formative evaluation is to find out the extent to which the designed program can run, as well as identify obstacles.

Abstract

This research analyzes the use of portfolio assessment in evaluating the learning outcomes of Science (IPA) in Elementary School 05 Cipondoh. The method provides a comprehensive overview of students' achievements through the collection, selection, and evaluation of their works. A qualitative approach is employed, involving data collection through classroom observations, interviews, and document analysis. The results indicate that portfolio assessment is effective in measuring students' conceptual understanding, scientific process skills, and critical thinking abilities. However, challenges include the required time and assessment criteria determination. Recommendations include teacher training, objective assessment guidelines, and improved collaboration among teachers, students, and parents.
