Abstract

The research on the application of fertilizer ABG (Bio Amazing Growth) and compost on the growth and yield of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L. Coss) has been carried out by using a randomized block design (RBD) consists of a two-factor factorial researched and 3 replications. ABG fertilizer treatments showed significant effect on the observed parameters such as plant height, leaf number and leaf area. But showed no real effect on the other parameters. Compost fertilizer treatments showed significant effect on all parameters except the parameter observations shoot root ratio shows no real effect. The interaction of fertilizer treatment and fertilizer Compost ABG showed significant effect on leaf area observed parameters, but the effect is not significant on the observation parameters plant height, number of leaves, root shoot ratio.Keywords: fertilizer ABG, compost, growth, production of green cabbage

Abstract

The research of the effect of various types of organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of mung bean (Vigna radiata l.) has been carried out by using a randomized block design  with 2 factors and 3 replications. The analytical methods used to conclute derived from the analysis of data by using a linear mathematical model. The observed parameters were plant height, stem diameter, number of productive branches, number of pods / plant and 100-seed weight. Provision of various types of organic fertilizers, organic fertilizers dose, as well as interaction not significant effect on all parameters observed.Keywords: organic fertilizer, growth, yield, mung bean

Abstract

The research of the effect bio-organic fertilizer ABG on the growth and production of sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt) has been carried out by using a randomized block design (RAK) factorial with 2 factors and 3 replicates, namely: bio-organic liquid ABG fertilizer (A), compost (K) with a combination of treatments. The analytical methods used to conclute from the analysis of data using linear mathematical models. Observed parameters: plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf area, weight of cobs per sample and the length of the cob. ABG fertilizer application had no significant effect on all parameters were observed. Giving compost significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, leaf area and length of the cob, but did not significantly affect the stem diameter and weight of fruit per sample. Interaction ABG and compost fertilizer treatment had no significant effect on all parameters were observed.Keywords: bio-organic fertilizer, growth, production, corn

Abstract

The research of grafting methyl methacrylate onto Cyclized Natural Rubber  has been carried out. Dicumyl Peroxide was used as a inisiator and temperature condition at 90oC with variation of time 1 and 2 hours. Grafting process was done with technique of reflux in a tree-neck flask  with condenser and oil bath. Spectra analysis FTIR performed for determine the presence of grafted MMA on the backbone of CNR. The results showed that the product CNR-g-MMA was formed with the marked appearance of the absorption peak wave numbers at 1731 cm-1 (carbonyl group absorption) typical for carbonyl (C = O) of methyl methacrylate. The degree of grafting increased with the increasing time grafting.Keywords: grafting, cyclic natural rubber, mathylmetacrilate, dicumyl peroxide

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini dilaporkan perubahan suhu transisi gelas produk pencangkokan anhidrida maleat pada karet alam siklis. Pencangkokan anhidrida maleat pada karet alam siklis dilakukan dalam fase leleh dengan penambahan komonomer divinil benzen di dalam pencampur internal suhu 185oC dan kecepatan rotor 85 rpm. Konsentrasi anhidrida maleat yang digunakan dalam proses pencangkokan adalah 16 phr, tanpa penambahan dan dengan penambahan komonomer divinil benzen dengan variasi: 0,5, 1 dan 2 mol rasio. Produk pencangkokan dikarakterisasi dengan Differential Scanning Calorimetry untuk mempelajari perubahan suhu transisi gelasnya. Berdasarkan analisis dan pengolahan data menggunakan software thermal analysis diperoleh bahwa semakin banyak penambahan komonomer divinil benzene maka suhu transisi gelasnya semakin tinggi, yaitu: 69,46oC, 69,51oC, 70,08oC dan 70,56oC.

Abstract

Hutagaol Peatalun Village is one of Villages in Balige District Toba Samosis Subdidistrict. Hutagaol Peatalun village is one of the rice agriculture centre in Sumatera Utara.in developing agriculture, farmers have problems about rice disease, that’s blast disease,. To face the problem, farmer should be given solution to help farmer improving biopesticide that have active substance of trichoderma to resolve blast disease. To date, the impact of blast disease was decrease and loss farmer’s rice production. The activity was involving two agriculture group. This activity consist of socialization  and practice to improve  trichoderma  biopesticide in corn media. The result of biopesticide was used by both of agriculture groups directly. This dedication activity succeed to increase farmer’s knowledge skill, and the point of view about  biopesticide as the substitution of chemistry fungicide that always  used by farmer’s.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the thermal properties of grafted products of maleic anhydride onto cyclized natural rubber. The grafting was carried out in the melt phase at an internal mixer of 150 oC and a rotor speed of 80 rpm. A total of 16 phr maleic anhydride was reacted with cyclized natural rubber in the present and absence of divinylbenzene comonomer with various mole ratios: 0.5, 1, and 2. The grafted products were characterized by the thermogravimetric method to investigate their thermal properties. Based on the results of the thermogravimetric analysis, it was shown that the sample increased its thermal stability. The sample decomposes at a higher temperature with the increasing mole ratio of divinylbenzene added. The grafted product with 16 phr maleic anhydride decomposed at 489.41 oC. Then, the graft product samples with the addition of 0.5, 1, and the 2-mole ratio of divinylbenzene comonomers decomposed at: 501.62 oC, 514.39 oC, and 520.82 oC, respectively.Keywords:Cyclized natural rubber, Divinylbenzene, Maleic anhydride, Thermamogravimetric

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat adalah salah satu kegiatan yang sangat diharapkan untuk dapat terlaksana dengan baik, sebab dapat meningkatkan dan menambah ilmu pengetahuan serta keterampilan. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini kita akan mengolah buah pare yang rasanya pahit menjadi cemilan di rumah Tahfiz Kalifah Aulia. Buah pare yang segar dicuci terlebih dahulu lalu dipotong potong dimana buah pare tersebut terlebih dahulu dibuang bijinya. Selanjutnya buah pare yang dipotong potong tersebut ditiriskan untuk diolah. Adapun bahan bumbu yang digunakan seperti kunyit, bawang merah, bawang putih, jahe, garam. Bahan ini digilng halus. Selanjutnya kita cairkan tepung dengan menggunakan santan kelapa serta ditambah telur, lalu bahan ini kita aduk dan campurannya dibuat merata. Selanjutnya bahan tepung serta bumbu dicampur. Proses tahap selanjutnya dilakukan proses penggorengan dengan memasukkan minyak goreng ke dalam kuali, selanjutnya buah pare dicampur dengan bahan bumbu, siap untuk digoreng. Setelah warnanya berubah coklat siap untuk diangkat, yang menunjukkan hasil gorengan telah matang. Diperoleh rasa renyah buah pare goreng dengan santan kelapa sebagai pelarut tepungnya sebesar 80% dan pelarut air untuk pelarut tepungnya rasa gurihnya diperoleh 60%.

Abstract

The grafting product of maleic anhydride onto cyclized natural rubber have been produced which is processed in an internal mixer 150oC 80 rpm. In this research, the consentrations of maleic anhydride used is 2, 4, 8, 16 phr. All grafted product was purified to determine the spesific weight and total acid for each graft product by the titration method. Specific weights of grafting products by addition of AM 2,4,8,16 is 0.245, 0.276, 0.288, 0.304, and total acid is 3.272, 6.145, 6.145, 10.280 respectively.

Abstract

Derajat pencangkokan anhidridamaleatpadakaretalamsiklissecara umum masih rendah, yang disebabkankurangnyadensitaselektronikatanrangkapanhidridamaleatsehinggareaktifitasnya rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkanderajatpencangkokan denganpenambahan komonomer divinil benzen. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan penambahan anhidrida maleat 2, 4, 8 dan16 phr dengandan tanpa komonomer divinil benzen di dalampencampur internal suhu 150oC dan kecepatan rotor80 rpm.  Untuk mempelajari pengaruhpenambahankomonomerdivinilbenzenmakaditambahkananhidridamaleat 16 phrdankomonomer divinil benzen dengan variasimasing-masing: 0,5, 1 dan 2 rasiomol. Produk pencangkokan dikarakterisasidenganfourier transform infra red untuk melihatterjadinyapencangkokananhidridamaleatpadakaretalamsiklis. Kemudian derajat pencangkokan ditentukan dengan metode titrasi menggunakan NaOH 0,05 M. Dari spektrum FT-IR dapatdilihatbahwatelahterjadipencangkokananhidridamaleatpadakaretalamsiklisdenganadanyaserapankhaspadabilangangelombang 1780cm-1. Dari perhitunganhasiltitrasidiperolehbahwaderajatpencangkokanmeningkatdenganpenambahandivinilbenzen.Denganpenambahandivinilbenzensebanyak 0,5; 1 dan 2 molrasiomakaderajatpencangkokanmeningkatdari 3,57% menjadimasing-masing4,46%; 5,46% dan 6,54%. Kata kunci: anhidrida maleat,derajatpencangkokan, divinil benzen, karet alam siklis
