The children became very enthusiastic and became very curious about what kind of images would appear from the Augmented Reality cards they held. The overall age of children is (6-13 years) and in this game, they have memory and fine motor skills that are quite good according to their developmental age. Conclusion: During the play therapy activities, it was successful and it was concluded that children were able to remember and know what type of cards and objects or creatures they were exploring with the help of a smartphone screen.

Abstract

Introduction: Acupressure is a non-pharmacological technique that can increase breast milk production, which is useful for increasing body stamina, improving blood circulation, reducing pain, reducing stress, or calming the mind. Acupressure serves to increase the hormone oxytocin, which can calm the mother, so that breast milk comes out by itself. Objective: This case study is to determine the effectiveness of acupressure therapy in increasing breast milk production in spontaneous postpartum clients. Method: This study uses a case study design with a nursing care approach that focuses on nursing interventions. The research was conducted in Teratai Room 2, RSUD Banjar City, from June 2, 2023, to June 4, 2023. The participants in this study were Mrs. W, 32 years old, a woman who complained that her milk production was low. The nursing process is focused on the main problem, namely ineffective breastfeeding. Objective data and subjective data are used as references on a regular basis to obtain results when an assessment is carried out. The instruments used were leaflets, observation sheets, and all the tools used in physical examinations. The focus of the intervention was the application of acupressure therapy to increase breast milk production in spontaneous postpartum mothers. Result: This case study is supported by objective and subjective data. The objective data obtained were that the patient admitted that the breasts did not feel tight, the breasts were clean, there were no lesions or redness, blood pressure 120/80 mmHg, temperature 36.6oC, pulse 86 x/min, respiration 20 x/min. subjective data, namely the recognition of patients complaining of very little milk expenditure. Conclusion: The intervention is thought to be effective against the effect of acupressure therapy on increasing milk production in postpartum patients. Theoretically, this research does not conflict with previous research, so it can be used as a reference in future research. Meanwhile, clinically, interventions made for ineffective breastfeeding problems can be an alternative to eliminating nursing problems in hospitals, health centers, or other health clinics.

Abstract

Objective: This case study aims to describe the effect of early mobilization on the post-appendectomy recovery process in appendicitis patients. Method: The research design used was a case study with a nursing care approach covering assessments, formulating diagnoses, interventions, implementation, and evaluation, which were carried out for 4 days from Mar 30 to Apr 3, 2023, in the Orchid Room of the Banjar City BLUD. The enforcement of nursing diagnoses refers to the IDHS, SIKI, and SLKI, and nursing evaluations are documented using the SOAPIER method. This case study uses a descriptive method with one respondent involved, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, documentation, and physical examination.Result: Nursing diagnosis of decreased physical mobility (D.0054) associated with postoperative physical weakness. 4 days of mobilization interventions were carried out with a duration of 30 minutes per day. After intervention, nursing problems related to patient mobility disabilities were resolved by increasing muscle strength, which was initially muscle strength in the upper extremities, namely 4 and 3 in the lower extremities, to 5 in the muscle strength of the upper extremities and 4 in the lower extremities, as well as an increase in the patient's independent activity patterns. Conclusion: The provision of mobilization interventions is useful in improving the recovery process after appendectomy, and the benefits of therapy will be maximized if it is carried out regularly and gradually.

Abstract

Unstable angina pectoris or angina sitting is a chronic syndrome in which the client gets a typical attack of left chest pain, which is like being pressed or stabbed. Based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2015, it showed that as many as 17.5 billion people in the world died from cardiovascular disease. Indonesia ranks fourth as the country with the highest number of deaths from cardiovascular disease. The main symptom that often appears is chest pain, and one of the non-pharmacological techniques that can be used to reduce pain is non-pharmacological foot massage. The objective of this study is to present care with foot massage technical interventions to overcome chest pain scales and pain scale measurement tools using the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) for unstable Angina Pectoris clients with acute pain in the Memory Room of the Banjar City Hospital. The research design method used is descriptive analysis with a case study approach. Subjects in this case study were adult patients who experienced unstable angina pectoris with acute pain problems. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, physical examination, and documentation studies. Result The results of the case study at the assessment stage found that the client complained of chest pain. The intervention and implementation used to reduce chest pain is giving foot massage techniques for 60 minutes when chest pain complaints occur. After the intervention, the client's pain scale decreased from 4 (0–10) to 1 (0–10), while subjective data from anamnesis showed that the client said chest pain had decreased. Conclusion The conclusion of nursing care for patients who experience unstable angina pectoris with chest pain problems is well resolved. Intervention with foot massage technique is effective against pain scale.
