Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the pastoral care program on the mental health and resilience of church members who lost their jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method used is quantitative using the Correlated T-test data analysis technique. The research found that the pastoral assistance program applied to congregations who lost their jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic had a significant positive effect on mental health. Likewise, the results of the analysis of the pastoral assistance program applied to congregations who lost their jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic on the resilience of church congregations. So it can be said that there is a significant effect of the pastoral assistance program on the mental health and resilience of the congregation who lost their jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic. Pastoral assistance programs are essential to provide, considering their various functions that impact mental health and provide a complete self-understanding for the community. The congregation is to be able to have resilient behavior where this is important to adapt and lead a normal lifestyle despite losing a job during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

After sin entered this world, sin destroyed every system in this world, including the education system. Adventist schools in addition to instilling world knowledge, emphasizes the development of character and character as the government's 2013 Curriculum Education goals and where the goals of character and character development have been carried out for years by Adventist school education everywhere with one goal is to save the spiritual soul by restoring The image and image of God that has been damaged by sin in order to gain eternal life. This study used a qualitative method by processing data from books and journals related to the research material. The purpose of this research is for everyone to understand the purpose and important role of education, especially in Adventist schools which prioritize character education apart from science education. The main goal of Adventist Education is to restore the Image and Image of God in a real form, namely salvation and eternal life someday.

Abstract

The aims of this study are to: Analyze the character values that can be learned from the stories of Bible characters. Character education has become a major concern in the world of modern education. Along with technological developments and globalization, moral and ethical challenges are increasingly complex, thus giving an urgency to prioritize character education among the younger generation. Character must be continuously formed to make someone with a strong character. Losing character, that means we have lost everything. Thus expressing how important character is in this life. This research will use a qualitative approach through literature studies involving analysis of Bible texts, textbooks on character education, as well as research related to religious and moral education. This research makes a significant contribution to the world of education, especially in developing strategies and character education programs that are more holistic and based on solid moral values. By understanding and applying the moral examples of Bible characters, it is hoped that this will create a generation with strong character and the potential to become leaders with integrity in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami peran penting pendidikan disiplin dalam pembentukan tabiat dan karakter pada anak-anak melalui penggunaan metode kualitatif studi literatur. Dalam upaya untuk mengeksplorasi konsep, teori, dan temuan yang ada dalam literatur terkait, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi trend dan temuan terkini, serta membangun kerangka konseptual yang mendalam tentang hubungan antara pendidikan disiplin, pembentukan karakter, dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian ini memiliki implikasi penting dalam pendidikan anak-anak, baik dalam konteks pendidikan formal maupun informal. Hasil studi literatur ini akan menjadi dasar penting untuk pengembangan pertanyaan penelitian yang lebih spesifik dan pengembangan pendekatan penelitian yang lebih terfokus dalam upaya kami untuk memahami peran pendidikan disiplin dalam membentuk karakter dan tabiat anak-anak. Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini membangun landasan yang kuat untuk penelitian lanjutan dalam upaya untuk mendidik anak-anak menjadi individu yang berdisiplin, bertanggung jawab, dan memiliki karakter yang kuat, sehingga dapat menghadapi tantangan di masa depan dengan lebih baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengulas perjalanan dan transformasi kepemimpinan Raja Salomo, yang awalnya dikenal sebagai pemimpin yang paling bijaksana dalam sejarah, namun kemudian menjadi pemimpin yang lalim. Penelitian ini menganalisis peran teologis dalam narasi Kisah Raja Salomo, dengan fokus pada aspek kebanggaan dan kemakmuran yang berkontribusi pada akar kejatuhan Salomo. Dalam konteks ini, penelitian ini menjelaskan bagaimana kebijaksanaan awal Salomo digantikan oleh kemewahan dan pengaruh negatif kekayaan, sehingga dia terjerumus ke dalam berbagai dosa terhadap rakyatnya dan Tuhannya. Serta semua kesalahan yang dilakukannya berkaitan dengan perubahan paradigma kepemimpinan. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya moralitas dan nilai-nilai spiritual dalam menjaga kualitas kepemimpinan, serta mengilustrasikan bagaimana kejatuhan seorang pemimpin dapat menjadi pelajaran berharga dalam konteks teologis.
