Abstract

"Who is my neighbor?" The scribe's question was motivated by his understanding of "neighborhood" which was only limited to Jews. The Jews in a series of ceremonies made themselves most holy. They do not think about foreigners or other nations other than their own people. This kind of understanding will tend to limit behavior to love others outside of a certain relationship. The purpose of this study is to provide a true and in-depth understanding according to biblical standards regarding the understanding of who is my neighbor. Delivering straightforwardly and clearly the intent and purpose of the Lord Jesus in giving parables according to Luke 10:25-37 as well as the correct view and understanding of who my neighbor is. This study uses a qualitative method by collecting and analyzing from various literature sources such as the Bible, books and journals so as to get a correct understanding of fellow human beings in Luke 10:25-37. In the story of the good Samaritan, Christ wanted to show that true religion does not depend on rules, beliefs, or religious ceremonies, but in performing acts of love and true goodness. The lesson on the parable of the Good Samaritan in the context of “Who is My Neighbor”, gives an understanding to every reader that a fellow human being is not just someone who believes in us.“Siapakah sesamaku manusia?” Pertanyaan seorang ahli Taurat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya pemahamannya tentang “sesamanya manusia” yang hanya terbatas pada orang Yahudi saja. Orang Yahudi dalam suatu rentetan upacara menjadikan diri mereka sendiri paling kudus. Mereka tidak memikirkan orang asing atau bangsa lain selain kaum mereka sendiri. Pemahaman seperti ini akan cenderung membatasi perilaku untuk mengasihi orang lain di luar satu ikatan hubungan tertentu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman yang benar dan mendalam sesuai dengan standard Alkitabiah sehubungan dengan pengertian siapakah sesamaku manusia. Menyampaikan dengan lugas dan jelas akan maksud dan tujuan dari Tuhan Yesus dalam memberikan perumpamaan sesuai Lukas 10:25-37 serta pandangan dan pemahaman yang benar tentang siapakah sesamaku manusia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisa dari berbagai sumber Pustaka seperti Alkitab, buku dan jurnal sehingga mendapatkan pemahaman yang benar mengenai sesama manusia dalam Lukas 10:25-37. Dalam kisah orang samaria yang baik hati, Kristus ingin menunjukkan bahwa agama yang benar itu bukanlah bergantung pada peraturan, kepercayaan, atau upacara agama, melainkan dalam melakukan perbuatan kasih, dan kebaikkan sejati. Pelajaran perumpaan Orang Samaria Yang Baik Hati dalam konteks “Siapakah Sesamaku Manusia”, memberikan pemahaman kepada setiap pembacanya bahwa sesama manusia bukan hanya seorang yang seiman dengan kita.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is so that every parent understands their role in providing the first education before or after the child enters formal education in general. Often parents leave education problems to their teachers at school, but parents forget that education must start at home and parents are the teachers. By providing the first education at home through parents, the parents will be able to properly direct what are the goals or aspirations of the parents towards their children, both formally and in character. If parents do not neglect this, there will be many children who can be educated properly and correctly according to the expectations of the parents in the future. The research was conducted using qualitative methods by collecting data from bibliography of books and scientific journals as well as online media. It is hoped that this research can increase parental awareness in providing the first education to their children

Abstract

The aims of this study are to: Analyze the character values that can be learned from the stories of Bible characters. Character education has become a major concern in the world of modern education. Along with technological developments and globalization, moral and ethical challenges are increasingly complex, thus giving an urgency to prioritize character education among the younger generation. Character must be continuously formed to make someone with a strong character. Losing character, that means we have lost everything. Thus expressing how important character is in this life. This research will use a qualitative approach through literature studies involving analysis of Bible texts, textbooks on character education, as well as research related to religious and moral education. This research makes a significant contribution to the world of education, especially in developing strategies and character education programs that are more holistic and based on solid moral values. By understanding and applying the moral examples of Bible characters, it is hoped that this will create a generation with strong character and the potential to become leaders with integrity in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengulas perjalanan dan transformasi kepemimpinan Raja Salomo, yang awalnya dikenal sebagai pemimpin yang paling bijaksana dalam sejarah, namun kemudian menjadi pemimpin yang lalim. Penelitian ini menganalisis peran teologis dalam narasi Kisah Raja Salomo, dengan fokus pada aspek kebanggaan dan kemakmuran yang berkontribusi pada akar kejatuhan Salomo. Dalam konteks ini, penelitian ini menjelaskan bagaimana kebijaksanaan awal Salomo digantikan oleh kemewahan dan pengaruh negatif kekayaan, sehingga dia terjerumus ke dalam berbagai dosa terhadap rakyatnya dan Tuhannya. Serta semua kesalahan yang dilakukannya berkaitan dengan perubahan paradigma kepemimpinan. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya moralitas dan nilai-nilai spiritual dalam menjaga kualitas kepemimpinan, serta mengilustrasikan bagaimana kejatuhan seorang pemimpin dapat menjadi pelajaran berharga dalam konteks teologis.

Abstract

This research explores an in-depth understanding of the Prophet Isaiah's message about the strength of faith in facing times of trial, with a focus on analyzing the meaning of fasting in the context described in Isaiah 58:6-10. This research aims to understand how the Prophet Isaiah became an example of the strength of faith through the teachings of fasting, in line with his theological and contextual understanding. Text and context analysis methods are used to detail the meaning and implications of fasting in Isaiah's writings, with the aim of identifying teachings that can empower people to strengthen their faith during times of trial. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to practical and theological understanding of the power of faith in the context of trials, especially through understanding the message of the Prophet Isaiah about the meaning of fasting.
