Abstract

Biochemistry is a science that has a broad scope of material regarding the chemical-biological and chemical-physiological processes of living things. Biochemistry material that tends to be abstract with pictures and schematics makes it difficult for students to understand biochemistry. The research purpose is to analyze the students' learning difficulties in studying biochemical material and find solutions. The analysis data were obtained through a short questionnaire using the Google form. The research subjects were 40 students of Department of Science Education at UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu who had taken courses related to biochemistry. The data were analyzed using the percentage technique. The results showed that the learning difficulties experienced by students regarding the subject matter of Biochemistry were about biochemical terms, molecular structures, metabolic pathways, and biochemical processes. The students learn biochemistry dominated by group discussion methods and lecturer explanations and assisted by video and image explanations. Learning sources in exploring biochemical material are through the internet (scientific articles, videos, pictures), discussions with lecturers, colleagues, and textbooks. To overcome the problem of student learning difficulties, it is necessary to use simple language, deliver sequential material, develop e-module teaching materials, and link biochemical materials in everyday life.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a reality about the importance of increasing the tolerance of students of different religions. The emergence of tolerance in schools requires concrete efforts from all parties in the school, one of which is a religious teacher in classroom learning. On this basis, the formulation of the problem in this study is how the strategy of Islamic Religious Education teachers in increasing student tolerance at SMP Negeri 19 Bengkulu City and what factors influence teacher strategies in increasing student tolerance at SMP Negeri 19 Bengkulu City. The purpose of this study is first, to find out the strategy of Islamic Religious Education teachers in increasing student tolerance at SMP Negeri 19 Bengkulu City. Second, knowing the factors that influence the teacher's strategy in increasing student tolerance at SMP Negeri 19 Bengkulu City. This research is a field research (field research) while the method used is descriptive. Informants in this study were principals, teachers and students. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the presentation and discussion of research data, it can be concluded that first, the strategy of Islamic Religious Education teachers in increasing student tolerance at SMP Negeri 19 Bengkulu City is by instilling the values of cooperation, solidarity, tolerance, responsibility and compassion in students. With the instillation of these values, it has strengthened students' sense of tolerance towards fellow human beings. In increasing student tolerance in the classroom and outside the classroom, it has been carried out using exemplary methods, advice, approaches and habituation. Second, the supporting factors of Islamic religious education teachers in increasing student tolerance are reflected through the cohesiveness of the school, strong cooperation between the school and the parents of students. While the inhibiting factors are the good environment, the family that is not conducive and the spectacle in the mass media that is not educational.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan media poster dan media audiovisual terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak siswa kelas VII dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penggunaan media poster dan media audiovisual yang telah diberlakukannya di kelas VII MTs Miftahul Huda. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode Quasi Eksperimen. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes dan dokumentasi. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan validitas dan reabilitas. Teknis analisis data yang peneliti gunakan adalah uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa dari penggunaan media poster dan media audiovisual terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak siswa kelas VII di MTs Miftahul Huda. Sebagai bukti bahwa adanya pengaruh dari penggunaan media poster dan media audiovisual terhadap hasil belajar siswa yaitu dilihat dari hasil nilai akhir siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran orang tua dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada masa pandemi Covid-19 kelas II di SD Negeri 59 Bengkulu Selatan dan mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat peran orang tua dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada masa pandemi Covid-19 kelas II di SD Negeri 59 Desa Lubuk Resam Kecamatan Kedurang, Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan Jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode penelitian data yang di gunakan penelitian ini yaitu metode wawancara, metode observasi, dan metode dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduction, display, dan verification. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua telah perperan dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada pembelajaran daring seperti telah memenuhi fasilitas belajar anak di rumah, membimbingan dan memotivasi anaknya agar anak lebih giat untuk belajar. Peran orang tua di rumah sudah cukup baik dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Sehingga minat belajar siswa baik dengan diberikan motivasi dan bimbingan belajar oleh orang tua dalam pembelajaran di rumah. Faktor pendukung dan penghambat peran orang tua dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. yaitu memberikan nasehat, memberikan Reward atau pujian seperti peralatan sekolah namun jika anaknya malas untuk belajar maka orang tuanya memberikan punishment atau hukuman seperti tidak boleh menonton televisi sebelum belajar agar minat belajar pada siswa dapat ditingkatkan lagi. Serta faktor penghambatnya yaitu ada beberapa orang tua yang sibuk dengan pekerjaan dan siswa yang masih malas dalam mengerjakan tugas.
