Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of employee competence and perceived organizational support on organizational commitment with performance as a mediating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach. The quantitative research method aims to test the established hypotheses. The population in this study were employees of the service organization in Rokan Hulu using a total sampling technique, which means using the entire population as the research sample. In this study, researchers involved 100 employees in service organizations in Rokan Hulu. The analysis used in this study is a structural approach to the Equation Model (SEM) assisted by the SmartPLS application. Based on the research that has been done, the results show a significant positive effect between the variables of Employee Competence on Organizational Commitment. There is a significant positive effect between the Perceived Organizational variables on Organizational Commitment. There is a significant positive effect between the variables of Employee Competence on Performance. There is a significant positive influence between Perceived Organizational on Performance. There is a significant positive effect between performance on organizational commitment. There is a significant positive effect between the variables of Employee Competence on Organizational Commitment mediated by employee performance. there is a significant positive influence between Perceived Organizational and Organizational Commitment mediated by employee performance.

Abstract

Professional human resources are needed in an organization to achieve goals. Professionalism will be seen from employee performance which is influenced by emotional intelligence and employee job satisfaction. Likewise at the Office of the Bandung Regency Diskoperindag, the problem is that the number of employees is lacking in completing work, the quality of work produced by employees is still low, the productivity of innovation organizations is low, and morale is decreasing. The research method uses the census method and data analysis using Multiple Linear Regression .The population and sample are all employees/employees of the Bandung Regency Diskoperindag as many as 117 employees with permanent employee status (ASN). The aim of this study was to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and job satisfaction on employee performance.

Abstract

Diperkenalkannya Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN (MEA) pada tahun 2015 memberikan tantangan lain bagi Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) di Indonesia untuk tetap kompetitif di pasar ASEAN. Penting bagi UKM untuk tetap kompetitif dengan berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap perekonomian. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan daya saing bisnis adalah dengan menerapkan konsep continuous improvement yang disebut juga dengan Kaizen. Review ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor pendukung dan tantangan dalam implementasi budaya Kaizen pada UKM dengan membahas faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap keberhasilan penerapan Kaizen dan tantangannya pada UKM. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi yang baik antara manajemen dan karyawan, strategi perusahaan yang jelas, kehadiran personel ahli Kaizen dalam organisasi, manajemen pengetahuan yang baik, dan pemberdayaan karyawan berkontribusi pada keberhasilan penerapan Kaizen. Hasil review juga menemukan bahwa resistensi terhadap perubahan, kegagalan memotivasi karyawan, kurangnya pemahaman tentang jalur strategis perusahaan, dan kesulitan dalam mengelola perbaikan berkelanjutan merupakan tantangan dalam menerapkan Kaizen. Melalui identifikasi dini faktor-faktor pendukung dan tantangan dalam menerapkan perbaikan berkelanjutan dapat membuat UKM lebih menyadari kemampuan dan kelemahan yang dapat menghambat dalam memulai kegiatan Kaizen.

Abstract

Palm trees are one of the potential commodities to be developed in Indonesia, one of which is in Rambah Tengah Hulu Village, Rambah District, Rokan Hulu Regency. Usually, craftsmen process palm water into molded palm sugar. The survey results show that 16 palm sugar craftsmen in Rambah Tengah Hulu Village have joined the palm sugar craftsmen group. It's just that this group has not been active for a long time. The main problems found among palm sugar craftsmen are that the production process of processing palm sap into palm sugar still uses very simple technology, the size of the product produced is not yet uniform, and palm sugar craftsmen have never received training or counseling regarding management, planning and recording business finances, so it is necessary Efforts are made so that groups of palm sugar craftsmen can maximize their business development. The aim of implementing this service is to provide solutions in improving technology and management of palm sugar business production. The method for implementing this service is that first the craftsmen are given counseling about the importance of forming a group in a business, then the craftsmen are given counseling about financial planning and recording. Craftsmen also make furnaces and tools for molding palm sugar and are given assistance in using and maintaining them. The result of this community service activity is that the average understanding of partners about the importance of group formation, planning and recording finances has reached 77.95%. Craftsmen understand the use of applied technology and craftsmen understand planning and recording business finances, as can be seen from the increased understanding of participants before and after carrying out activities. Craftsmen also have uniform printing equipment and modified furnaces.Technology; production management; Palm sugar
