Abstract

KESADARAN YANG BERTENTANGANSEBAGAI BENTUK RESOLUSI KONFLIK DALAM PENDIDIKAN:Pengalaman Pesantren Persatuan Islamdi Masa Orde BaruToto SuhartoInstitut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Surakartatotosuharto2000@yahoo.comAbstractIn the midst of the centralized and bureaucratic educationional situation of the New Order, the conflict between the government and private educational institutions were likely to take place. On the one hand, the New Order government issued hegemonic policies of education in order to preserve its power. On the other hand, private institutions were trying to maintain its peculiar identity that became his trademark. In this context, it is interesting to examine the forms of conflict resolution carried out by the Union of Islam Boarding school (Pesantren Persatuan Islam) in the New Order. Using Gramscian hegemony conceptual framework, this paper finds that the Union of Islam Boarding School under the leadership of KH. A. Muchtar Latif, MA, responded the new order education policy with the counter-hegemonic way. The main reason why this counter-hegemony was exercised is because the institution’s intent to preserve their Islamic ideology based on the Qur’anic and Sunnaic teachings. What did the Union of Islam Boarding school in the New Order take is indeed a form of conflict resolution as an awareness of dispute (contradictory consciousness), for the educational policies of the New Order was received “passively” and “vaguely”. Conflict resolution in the form of contradictory consciousness that Union of Islam Boarding school being taken is deliberately exercised in order to run the education political strategy, i.e. “Pesantren PERSIS independent, yet, not self isolation.”

Abstract

This article seeks to examine and analyze how the response of two contemporaryIslamic thinkers of democracy. Both thinkers are S.M. Zafar and Mehdi Bazargan.They have a typical thinking about the system of government. Zafar offers asystem of government based on the Theo-democrcy parliamentary, because of hisopposition to the military system in Pakistan. Whiles Bazargan offers the systemof government based on Theo-democracy, because of his opposition to the ‘ulamā’system of Khomeini’s government. They are looked theo-democrcy governance asa system that needs to be implemented in an Islamic state.Artikel ini ditujukan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis bagaimana respons duapemikir Islam kontemporer terhadap demokrasi. Kedua pemikir itu adalah S.M.Zafar dan Mehdi Bazargan. Mereka memiliki pemikiran yang khas mengenaisistem pemerintahan. Zafar menawarkan sebuah sistem pemerintahan yang berdasarkanteo-demokrasi parlementer, karena ketidaksetujuannya dengan sistempemerintahan militer di Pakistan. Abstract

This article deals with the educational ideas of Muhammadiyah and Nahdatul Ulama as representing the portrait of moderate Islamic education in Indonesia. The problems addressed includes whether both organizations have certain moderate ideas regarding education to seed their moderate character. Using actual philosophy approach, this study reveals that educational institutions of Muhammadiyah are characterized by a special subject matter called Al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan. With the concept of objective identity of Muhammadiyah’s education, this subject matter is designed to be an instrument for Muhammadiyah to seed the moderate character of its students. Meanwhile, NU’s educational institutions are characterized by subject matter called Aswaja dan Ke-NU-an. Through the concept of SNP-Plus, this institution serves as an instrument for NU to seed the character of moderate Islam. Both organizations therefore share the same ideas to strengthen a moderate Islamic education in Indonesia on the basis of their own cultural traditions.

Abstract

It is generally speaking that a country must consider industrial and trade sector in making its global economical policies, as both of them are significant role to supporting national economic growth. According to the writer, when we discuss about experiences in the case of implementing industrial and trade policies in the developing countries, there are three dominant perspective analysis as written in the developmental literature, namely Neoclassical perspective, Structural perspective and Radical perspective. Furthermore, the problem in the industrial and trade policies mostly occurs on three main issues, those are exporting policy, importing policy, and strategic options of industrialization which lies on between import substituting industry or export promoting industry. In this paper, the writer also analyzing economical globalization issue as a big challenge nowadays and proposing strategic anticipatory actions that the developing countries should prepare.

Abstract

DISKOMINFO Sukabumi city is Office that has the task of implementing regional authority in field of management of Information and Communication Technology. The consequence of application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is with emergence of security risks. As happened in Sukabumi City Government Information System, hacking occurs by unauthorized parties. There are  several ways to maintain information security, by applying information security to information technology layer technically or by doing governance. The implementation of this governance is a necessity and has become a necessity and a demand. One of them is using COBIT 5 framework with the COBIT for information security section, which focuses on information security and provides more complete guidelines and practices for information security professionals and other related parties at each interprise level. In a study at DISKOMINFO Kota Sukabumi, the selection of the COBIT 5 framework domain, was taken by mapping the organization's objectives with EG COBIT and ITRG goals. From the election was taken the enabler of EDM01, APO01, APO02, APO03, BAI02, DSS03, DSS05. The results show that Information Technology security management in DISKOMINFO is still at level 1.

Abstract

State Islamic Universities (UIN) in Indonesia nowadays has developed their study courses by opening the faculty of social science and humanities and the faculty of the natural science. This development is constitutionally “has gone beyond” scientific mandate of UIN, which only had the authority to execute the education in the cluster of religious sciences. Applying the approach of philosiphy of knowledge, this paper tried to commit the reposition the sciences of non Islamic studies cluster in UIN so that there is no gap between the two clusters, by offering the application of the paradigm of theo-antropo-cosmosentrism. Applying content analysis on texts related to the theme of the study, this paper offered the integration model of "Triangle of Science" which is based on the paradigm of Theo-anhropo-cosmosentrism. This paradigm tried to integrate the paradigms of theocentrism, anthropocentrism and cosmocentrism.***Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) di Indonesia dewasa ini telah mengembangkan wilayah studi Islamnya dengan membuka fakultas dalam ilmu-ilmu sosial-humaniora dan ilmu-ilmu kealaman. Perkembangan ini secara konstitusional telah “melampaui batas” mandat keilmuan UIN, yang hanya diberi kewenangan untuk menyelenggarakan pendidikan dalam rumpun ilmu agama. Tulisan ini dengan pendekatan filsafat ilmu mencoba mereposisi ilmu-ilmu non-rumpun ilmu agama yang ada di UIN, sehingga tidak terjadi gap antar keduanya, dengan menawarkan penggunaan paradigma teo-antropo-kosmosentrisme. Dengan analisis isi terhadap teks-teks yang terkait dengan tema kajian, tulisan ini menawarkan model integrasi “Segitiga Ilmu” yang berbasiskan pada paradigma teo-antropo-kosmosentrisme. Paradigma ini mencoba mengintegrasikan antara paradigma teosentrisme, antroposentrisme dan kosmosentrisme.

Abstract

This article talks about the patterns of Muslims in raising families with respect to the modern era. The Muslim family often faces forms of identity crises, faced in the global era with the need to hold on to tradition, while at the same time conforming to modernity. The best way to face such a conflict would be to engage in dialogue traditions and modernity. In that context, it needs to be pointed out that Islam does not always give the answers hoped for by its believers with respect to socio-cultural realities. This fact is related to the transcendent nature of Islam, in the form of normative-dogmatic requirements. This ground has led to theological conflicts between the need to hold on to normative doctrine and the desire to give new perpectives towards the doctrine as to be interpreted historically. This conflict has often sparked theological, intellectual and social conflicts within Muslims as a whole. Therefore, the Islamic conception that aims to establish an economically independent, traditionally rich and emotionally sensitive family, needs to be discussed, so that Muslim families can continue to survive in the midst of the global realities.

Abstract

It is the fact that religious extracurricular learning is done differently and variously by each educational unit level. The interesting phenomenon happens in which is a learning process of religious education extracurricular at a high school of MTA Surakarta. The high school is registered as the list of the fifty leading Islamic high school in Indonesia. This study of educational ideology analyzes it is found that at the MTA high school is implemented the integrated curriculum structure, which is a national curriculum combined with diniyah curriculum. Although it is still in a small portion of the diniyah curriculum made as to its core curriculum. The Islamic extracurricular activities are implemented in various forms, such as the recitation on Sunday morning, a special recitation, Arba’in Hadith studies, and Riyadlus Shalihin, khitobah, BTA, Tahsin, Tahfidz, Muhadasah, and Tasyji’ul Lughoh and Nafar Ramadan.
