Abstract

Ruas jalan Bts. Nagan Raya / Abdya – Blangpidie adalah ruas jalan penghubung kota Nagan Raya dengan Aceh Barat Daya. Pada ruas jalan tersebut sering terjadi kecelakaan lalu lintas yang mengakibatkan korban jiwa maupun materi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kelengkapan fasilitas jalan dan pengaruh geometrik jalan terhadap kecelakaan lalu lintas. Pengumpulan data primer yang meliputi data kecepatan sesaat, volume lalu lintas, kondisi dan perlengkapan geometrik jalan yang diperoleh dari survei di lapangan. Sedangkan data sekunder yang meliputi data kecelakaan dari Laka Lantas Kabupaten Aceh Barat Daya dan data populasi penduduk yang diperoleh dari internet melalui situs ABDYA dalam Angka. Dari hasil analisis diketahui yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kecelakaan adalah jarak pandang henti (Jh) jika dianalisis dari dua arah (Jembatan-Kota dan Kota-Jembatan) masing-masing 38,830 m <75 m dan 39,358 m <75 m dan jarak pandang menyiap (Jd)  jika dianalisis dari dua arah (Jembatan-Kota dan Kota-Jembatan) masing-masing 205,469 m < 350 m dan 208,578 m < 350 m jika dibandingkan dengan acuan Perencanaan Geoetrik Jalan Antar Kota (TPGJAK) 1997  sedangkan untuk hubungan antara derajat kejenuhan sangat tinggi karena hasil perhitungan derajat kejenuhan pada lokasi penelitian yaitu kurang dari 1 disimpulkan jalan tersebut lalu lintasnya lancar sehingga para pengendara kemungkinan besar mengendarai dengan kecepatan tinggi dan dapat mengakibatkan kecelakaan. Selain itu ada beberapa indikasi yang mengakibatkan terjadinya kecelakaan yaitu tidak adanya median jalan sehingga memungkinkan terjadinya kecelakaan dari arah berlawanan dan tidak tersedianya penerangan pada malam hari sehingga mempersempit jarak pandang pengendara saat berkemudi.

Abstract

Concrete is a building material that consists of a mixture of aggregate and paste. Normal concrete has a unit weight of 2200 kg/m3 to 2500 kg/m3. In addition to normal concrete, lightweight concrete is also known which has a unit weight of less than 1900 kg/m3. The research was conducted to produce lightweight concrete by using aggregate from polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic waste as a substitute for coarse aggregate. This study used 40 cylindrical samples of 150 mm x 300 mm with variations in the use of PET aggregates of 25%, 50%, and 100% of the volume of coarse aggregate. The results show that the use of PET aggregates produces concrete with a decrease in compressive strength of 26%–39% and a decrease in water absorption of 2%–32% from normal concrete. Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV) testing showed that the concrete with PET aggregates had a lower wave propagation velocity compared to normal concrete. Moreover, Schmidt hammer and splitting tensile test showed that concrete with PET aggregates had lower rebound number and split tensile strength compared to normal concrete. PET substitution percentages of 25% and 50% resulted in unit weights of 2218 kg/m3 and 2102 kg/m3, respectively, which rule out the use of lightweight concrete. However, 100% PET substitution has a unit weight of 1855 kg/m3 with a compressive strength of 14.16 MPa, which can be categorized as moderate structural lightweight aggregate concrete.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is as an effort to improve the skills and social status and welfare of construction workers in Muara Satu Sub-District, Lhokseumawe City. Methods as well as provide basic education about how construction works in order to obtain information and understanding about simple earthquake-resistant house construction work. Stage while improving work group skills. builders in constructing building structures that meet the requirements of earthquake-resistant simple houses. The method of implementing the activity begins with site observation and licensing, participant recruitment and training implementation. To measure the success of the training, a pre-test and post-test were conducted in each material session. Based on the results of the activities that have been carried out, it is known that participants gain an increase in understanding of up to 40% after the training and are expected to be a provision for craftsmen in carrying out their profession. In conclusions, that the training went well and provided an increase in the knowledge of construction workers in terms of building simple earthquake-resistant houses. Partners must to understand the material provided in order to be a skilled builders.
