Abstract

AbstractThe congregation is one part of the Christian community which is organized in the organization of the Church. As people called out of darkness into His miraculous light, Christians must also realize that they are God's chosen people. Where God chooses His people according to His will, the purpose of this study is to find out how the congregation's understanding of how to live as God's chosen people based on 1 Peter 2:11-17 affects the behavior of daily life among the Bethel Church. Indonesia Market 1 Blue-blue. The research method used in this article is survey research by taking one population and using a questionnaire (questionnaire) as a data collection tool. As for what is discussed in this study, namely Seeing God's Chosen Way of Behaving, Building a Strong Christian Community, the results of the study found the influence of understanding God's chosen people's way of life based on 1 Peter 2:2 -11-17 about the behavior of daily life. Keywords: behavior, people of god, christian community AbstrakJemaat merupakan salah satu bagian dari komunitas kekristenan yang terorganisir dalam organisasi Gereja, Sebagai seorang yang dipanggil keluar dari kegelapan ke dalam terang-Nya yang ajaib, orang Kristen juga harus menyadari bahwa mereka merupakan umat pilihan Allah. Diaman Allah memilih umatnya sesuai kehendakNya, tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh pemahaman jemaat tentang cara hidup sebagaiumat pilihan Allah berdasarkan 1 Petrus 2:11-17  terhadap perilaku kehidupan sehari-hari di kalangan jemaat Gereja Bethel Indonesia Pasar 1 Sibiru-biru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah penelitian survey denga mengambil satu populasi dan menggunakan kuesioner (angket) sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Adapun yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini yaitu Memandang Cara Berperilaku Umat Pilihan Allah, Membangun Komunitas Kekristenan Yang Kuat, dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa pengaruh pemahaman cara hidup umat pilihan Allah berdasarkan 1 Petrus 2:2-11-17 terhadap perilaku kehidupan sehari-hari. Kata Kunci: perilaku, umat allah, komunitas kristen

Abstract

Worship is a relationship between God's people and God as a binding relationship. The bond is applied because of the right understanding and is shown in terms of loyalty to worship God. Medan Antioch Baptist Church as a place to grow for believers in God, faces many challenges to be faithful in worship, especially pre-pandemic-post-pandemic. This research uses a quantitative survey method. And found, First the understanding of loyalty to Allah in the moderate category. Second, the understanding of perseverance in worship is in the low category. Third, there is a significant influence between the variables of understanding of perseverance on loyalty to God. The influence of the understanding of perseverance on faithfulness to God in worship can be made if, first, live according to the gospel; second, stand together in the gospel; third, not afraid to face threats: fourth, suffer for GodKeywords: Church, Worship, Faithfulness  AbstrakBeribadah merupakan hubungan antara umat Tuhan dengan Tuhan sebagai hubungan yang mengikat. Ikatan itu diaplikasikan karena pemahaman yang benar dan ditunjukkan dalam hal kesetiaan untuk beribadah kepada Tuhan. Gereja Baptis Antiokhia Medan sebagai salah satu tempat untuk bertumbuh bagi orang percaya didalam Tuhan, menghadapi banyak tantangan untuk setia dalam beribadah secara khusus pra pandemi-pasca pandemi. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitaf dengan metode survey. Dan ditemukan, Pertama pemahaman tentang kesetiaan kepada Allah dalam kategori sedang. Kedua pemahaman tentang ketekunan dalam beribadah ada pada kategori rendah, Ketiga terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel pemahaman tentang ketekunan terhadap kesetiaan kepada Allah. Pengaruh pemahaman tentang ketekunan terhadap kesetiaan kepada Allah dalam beribadah dapat dilakukan jika, pertama, hidup sesuai dengan Injil; kedua, berdiri bersama dalam Injil; ketiga, tidak gentar menghadapi ancaman: keempat, menderita untuk TuhanKata Kunci: Jemaat, Beribadah,Kesetiaan

Abstract

The birth of a child is a great joy for a family. Generally, husband and wife are more hopeful about having children than any other desire. Even though many couples delay having children, in the end, the presence of a child will bring great satisfaction to them. Infertility is an essential issue for married couples when it comes to God's blessing on the promise of offspring. How does the Bible answer this? Is infertility the work of God and his will? The method used in this article is the research library method using sources from literature, while the outlines that are described are: discussing the promise of descent, the biblical perspective on infertility, cultural perspectives on infertility, a prayer asking for offspring, understanding the theological meaning of infertility, and finally, that infertility cannot be viewed as a curse or punishment.
