Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the structure of income, household consumption patterns coconut farmers and the factors that influenced in Mandah Indragiri Hilir Municipality. To answer this purpose it was used the analysis of the income structure and logistic regression methods. Based on the result of the analysis the biggest household income of farmers are donated from work income that sourced from coconut farming income. Household consumption patterns of coconut farmers showed that expenditures of food consumption is greater than consumption of the non food. This indicated that the households of coconut farmers in Mandah are not prosperous yet. The dominant factors that affected household are food consumption patterns coconut farmers and the length of the householder education. Thus, in order to improve the welfare of coconut farmers, it needs to be a concerted effort to increase the income of the household, particularly through the coconut farming activities. This can be done by implementing the Goverment’s policy of stable prices as well as the effort of controlling the price of inputs. Beside that, it needs to be an effort to increase farmers’ knowledge through training and coaching.   Keywords: Structure of Income, Consumption Patterns, Welfare

Abstract

The purpose of this research is (1) knowing performance of rubber farm effort of rubber in Pangkalan Kuras District Pelalawan Regency (2) Analyze the dominant factors that influences the citizen’s production rate of rubber in Pangkalan Kuras District Pelalawan Regency compare during September 2015 until Mei 2017 in Pangkalan Kuras District Pelalawan Regency. This research used survey method at two central rubber production villages in Pangkalan Kuras District Pelalawan Regency (Sorek Dua village and Dundangan village). The sampling technique used simple random sampling.The result of this study conclude : (1) the performance of farm effort of rubber in Pangkalan Kuras District is : wide of farmers rubber average 2 ha, average’s rubber age is 22nd years old, total’s rubber average is 549 trees/ha, total devote of labor average is 209.97 HKP/ha/year to consist of 44.37% (TKDK)  and 55.62% (TKLK), The average of herbisida give is 83.37 liter/ha/tear, average of production is 2985 kg/ha/year. The production factor of rubber farm effort in Pangkalan Kuras District consist of land wide, labor, herbisida, manure, and seet. In this research the farmer aren’t do the fostering because they have the equity’s limited. (2) production factor that significant to rubber on 20% of real standard are plant’s age, plant’s total, devote’s labor and herbisida.Keywords: Dominant Factor, Performance, Rubber Production

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the household income pattern of non-oil palm farmer in Senama Nenek Village Tapung District Kampar Regency, to analyze the structure of household income pattern of non-oil palm farmers in Senama Nenek Village Tapung District Kampar Regency and to determine the condition of the coconut farmer household welfare palm patterns of self-help Senama Nenek Village Tapung District Kampar Regency. This research was conducted in Senama Nenek Village Tapung District Kampar Regency is a district with the largest oil production people in Kampar Regency. This research was conducted by survey method, ie through interviews with palm oil farmers self-patterns. Samples were taken by simple random sampling technique with a number of sample as many as 30 people. Data analysis consisted of analysis of profits / income, income structure analysis, and well-being. The study found that the net income of non-oil palm farmers in Senama Nenek Village Rp 35.815.012 / Land / Year. As for family work income received by farmers was Rp 36.028.345 / Land / Year. Implicit costs consist of depreciation costs Rp 139.329 / year and TKDK Rp 213 333 / year. While the explicit costs consist of costs fertilizer Rp 5.003.870 / year, the cost of pesticides Rp1.008.867 / year and costs TKLK 4.255.367 / year. The structure of non-palm farmers' income consists of income is from agriculture and non-agricultural income. The average number of net income from agriculture earned by oil palm farmers self-patterns of Rp 36.028.345,-. As for non-agricultural income, the average earned by oil palm growers governmental pattern of Rp 2.800.000,-. So that the total income received by farmers is Rp 38.028.345,-. Based on the criteria of basic needs and is measured by indicators of well-being obtained that all smallholders as many as 30 people belonging to prosperous farmers. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the result of large production loss, to analyze the probability and impacts of lost production at post harvest process of the fresh fruit bunches (FFB) paml oil from on land until to palm oil factory (POF). Research was done by survey at Pagaruyung Village. Data were collected from 30 small-holders palm oil farmers using purposive sampling. Analysis of the results obtained shows that the loss of production the fresh fruit bunches (FFB) palm oil in post harvest process as 4,91 percent/2ha/month, that loss of production at land as 0.93 percent, at TPH ( FFB raw ) as 0.36 percent, at TPH (FFB) as 0.36 percent and at palm oil factory (Sorting plant process) as 2.93 percent. Probability of the loss production at land as 25.18 percent, at TPH (FFB raw and FFB) as 23.18 percent and 23.24 percent, at palm oil factory (sorting plant process) as 18.79 percent. The impact of the losses arising from the loss of post-harvest TBS is Rp 190.137,97/2ha/month and if combined for one year will reach Rp 2.281.655,60. Keywords:Palm Oil, Analysis Of The Risk, Post-harvest
