Abstract

This research was conducted by the author to find out what social function of markets for rural communities, Benefits Research The results of this study can be used as additional information, especially studies Sociology as further research similar results could be used as knowledge of the market not only as a single function , The theory is in use in this research is Structural and Functional Social Systems. Kind of research included in qualitative research. Serai DesaTasik research sites in the Western District of Bengkalis Uptown merchants and public research subject Desa Tasik Serai Barat, the data in the data can be primary and secondary data collection techniques of interview, observation and documentation. Abstract

This research was conducted in Riau University, the purpose of this research is to know and analyze The Strategy Social Adaptation of Papua Students Recipients of Scholarship Afirmasi Dikti in Riau University. This research is Qualitative research which analyzed descriptively, and instrument of data is observation and interview. The theory used in this research is Bourdieuw theory. In this study of informants there are eight people. Sampling technique is Snowball Sampling the result of the research on the informants explained that the students of papua who studied at the university Riau able to adapt to the campus environment by learning to accept and follow the rules, approach to friends and also lecturers, and their friends always help when they have trouble in following lesson, and their friends always helpful when experiencing difficulties in terms of communicating, so that papua students are able to adapt in Riau UniversityKeywords : Strategy,Adaptation, Papua Students.

Abstract

This research was carried out at Sukajadi Village, Bukit Batu district, Bengkalis Regency. The purpose of this study is to find out what factors of Christianity are the background of couples who marry without traditional ceremonies. The topic of this research focus is to know the background of the life description of married couples without custom in their socialization lives in the family and Batak community. The sample in this study amounted to 5 people. The author uses qualitative methods and uses Sampling quota retrieval techniques. Data instruments are observation, interviews and documentation. From the research conducted, the author found that married couples who are married without using custom are due to economic factors, different beliefs, cannot be blessed by parents. There are also many couples who are married without Batak customs who consider it true without being treated as a matter of course, but this assumption is strongly denied by traditional Batak leaders, because until whenever the Batak people were very thick in their customs, he also said that he died later must be dealt with, if the marriage does not use custom will affect the child who is going to get married where if his parents are not subjected to his child it is also not allowed to invite parents at a traditional party, so until whenever he said Batak people must understand about the ritual. For those who are charismatic, the Batak tradition is very contrary to their teachings because the charismatic church only believes in getting that blessing by just accepting the blessing of the church, not from its traditional system, most of the people who have charismatic beliefs do not know civilization. Abstract

Forthe Batak people, Ulos are cloth or objects which is considered important for their lives. LiterellyUlos  has the meaning of of “blanket”. In ancient times Ulos inside used ancestors to warm theirs boodies from the cold. As time goes by to date Ulos is used for every event in the Batak community, both the birth, marriage, and death. Giving Ulos is known as mangulosi. Mangulosi or giving Ulos has simbolic meaning namely giving love from the gover to the recipient. In weddings that used Batak customs there will be a stage of mangulosi to the bride and groom. This mangulosi event has also been adopted to religions in Indonesia. The subject of this study corsisted of five informants, where the subject of this research is the chairman of the clan and also a married people in Duri city.Technique of determining informants in thin study using purposive sampling. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The theory used is simbolic interactional theory and also theories of social changes. The results of this mangulosi research are mangulosican not be released from the Batak community. Batak brides are said to have been officially married after upgrading this mangulosi. Keywords: Mangulosi, Simbolic interactional, social change.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Limbungan Baru Village, Rumbai Pesisir Sub District, Pekanbaru City. The purpose of this study is to find out what social network contained in the activity of snack merchants and how the characteristics of traders in utilizing this field of business maximally, and how the influence of the network on product availability. Purposive Sampling sampling technique because the author has set some criteria of the subject that will be used as a source of information in research that will be done as many as 14 people. The author uses Qualitative methods with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The type of research conducted by the authors is descriptive qualitative research. The results from the field said that the characteristic of a merchants traditional cake with snack craftsmen in Limbungan Baru Village, District of Rumbai Pesisir Pekanbaru City can be seen from Age, Education, Ethnic, Religion, Cake, and Source of Capital. The type of social network created on social networks in the activity of merchants traditional cake is a network of interests in which this network is formed due to an element of interest in forming such a network. Social capital further emphasizes the potential of groups and between groups with an attention space on social networks, norms, values, and trust among people.The Key word: Social Networks, Traders, Social Capital

Target of this research is to know how knowledge of coed about hijab, and to know what meaning of hijab to coed, and also to know what the reason of coed use hijab transientlyincampus area BinaWidya University of RiauPekanbaru City. This Research entitle "Hijabers Women inArea Campus ( Case Study of Fahion Transient Hijab among Coed Campus Bina Widya University of RiauPekanbaru City). Topic focus of this research is the reason of coed use hijab transientlyin campus area BinaWidya University of RiauPekanbaru City. Informan of this research is woman using hijab transiently in campus area Bina Widya University of RiauPekanbaru City. Intake of sampel was conducted with technique of snowball sampling. Sampelis 6 coed people using hijab transiently. Writer use descriptive method qualitative and data analysed qualitative. Data instrumentisobservation, documentation and interview. Result of research indicate that the reason of coed use hijab transientlyin campus area Bina Widya University of Riau Pekanbaru City caused by feeling reluctant to instructor lecturer, existence of feeling reluctant to friend, going by the book and policy of majors, to avoid incidence ofquestion which can trigger emotion,and no demand of family. Besides from result of researchinfield known meaning of hijab to coed in campus area Bina Widya University of RiauPekanbaru City is hijab as a means of close hair of sunshine, hijab as obligation, as motivation, to show femininity symbol, and aslife style.Keyword: Hijabers Woman, Reason Of Coed Use Transient Hijab

Abstract

Being a single parent—Mother- a phenomenon is a phase not experienced by everyone, a change in the function and role of a person before and when being a single parent- can affect changes in the economy, social, and a psychology . The single parent –mother- should replace the role of the father as head of the household in some aspects such as the decision maker, and make a living. Need process of being able to go through a period of darkness or sadness, and single parent or single mother who divorced or abandoned his partner experienced social pressure they must accept such as financial problems, feeling lonely because they are used to being alone, dealing with negative think , accept the present reality alone, even work to earn a living in order to meet the needs of his life and his children that he bear. phenomenon is observed this time been located in Bukit Gajah village District of Ukui Pelalawan Regency where the area has the characteristics of informants in accordance with the subject under study. The research data is collected by interview, observation and documentation. The interview was a structured interview in which the researcher first prepared the interview guidelines. The present research aims to identify what are the driving and inhibiting factors in being a single parent –Mother- and how to structure a strategy and adapt to new and advanced circumstances for their children .Keywords: Single Parent , Mother, Adaptation Strategy .

Abstract

This research was conducted at senior high school based common and senior high school based religion in Pekanbaru, Riau). With a problem that (1) What is factors affect of premarital sexual from students senior high school based common and senior high school based religion, (2) How comparisons of premaritial sexual from senior high school based common and senior high school based religion. This research is comparative research with the quantitative approach and elaboration with narrations descriptive. Population of this research are students grade third, it is 264 students than population was taken with the technique probability sampling, it is sampling propotinal. So, we the sample in this research is 65 students of senior high scool basen common and 55 students of senior high school based religion Islam. To collect data using questioner and documentation. Based on this research there conclusion is factors affect of premarital sexual is (1) Sexul knowledge, (2) Understanding abour religion, (3) there role of family and peers, (4) The sexual passions (5) Source of information (social media). To know of comparing there and nothing between T-test. Finded T-colculated is 2,5 to T in table using standart signification with free degree 118. So, result t0,95(118) = 1,66. If comparate with T result it is large than T-table(t = 2,5 > t 0,95 (118) = 1,66). So, we found significant differences between students senior high school based common and senior high school based religion.Keywords: behavior sexual, comparative, students, premaritial

Abstract

The location chosen in this study is a dimly lit stalls which is lively on the street of SM. Amin Labuh Baru Barat Village, Payung Sekaki District, Pekanbaru City. The location of the study was taken because along SM. Amin street precisely RT 03 RW 03 there are around 20 dimly lit stalls that are still operating. The purpose of this research is to find out the business activities that exist in dimly lit stalls and to find out whether there is covert prostitution activity in dimly lit stalls. The data analysis technique is done qualitatively by using descriptive data analysis of the data obtained in the field in the form of words. The conclusions that can be drawn from this study are 1) activities or activities carried out by customers in dimly lit stalls namely drinking hard while karaoke, this activity is almost carried out by every visitor who visits the dimly lit stall because the main thing provided by stall owners is karaoke and liquor. 2) Prostitution Activities, before the stalls on the street of SM Amin Labuh Baru Barat Village have not been used as entertainment or lewd places but as a place to sell items of daily necessities but now they have been misused, namely for prostitution. Apart from drinking liquor and karaoke, the dimly lit stall owners also provide places for prostitution. This is made by stall owners to reap greater profits because if customers want to do prostitution, of course the customer must pay again for the activity so that it is known that there is clearly prostitution carried out by visitors to dimly lit stalls starting from ordinary kisses. up to sexual intercourse. Keywords: The dimly lit stall and prostitution

This research was conducted at Jalan Air Hitam Pekanbaru City with the aim of obtaining information about Corn Seller Profile . Problems to be studied is as follows (1) How does the outpouring of family labor in the sale of corn? (2) How does the social relationships in a corn merchant activity? The title of this research is "Seller Profile Corn (Study of Informal sector At Night In Pekanbaru Jalan Air Hitam)" the purpose of the research is as follows: To find out how the outpouring of family labor in the sale of corn. To determine social relations in a corn merchant activity. In order to facilitate the authors to analyze the actions roasted corn sellers in Jalan Air Hitam village Labuh Western New Sekaki Umbrella District of Pekanbaru, using the theories related to this research: social capital theory, functional structure and social action. This research is qualitative phenomenon because of its shape, Informants in this study are those writers who considered good choice in providing the information needed writers. In this study the technique determination / determination informants used by the author in the research is purposive sampling technique with a sampling technique based on the desired goals of the writer. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Having done this study, The results of this research note that the seller sells roasted corn in a way not true and there are relationships in aktvitas selling grilled corn on Jalan Air Hitam.Keywords: Informal Sector, Seller Corn, Night
