Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penentu komitmen organisasi kepala SMK di Kota Medan, dan menentukan model teoretik yang dapat menggambarkan hubungan kausalistik antarvariabel laten yang menentukan komitmen organisasi kepala sekolah. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 152 orang dan sampel 110 yang diambil dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Data komitmen organisasi, budaya organisasi, kepemimpinan, komunikasi interpersonal, dan kepuasan kerja dijaring dengan menggunakan kuesioner model skala Likert. Uji persyaratan analisis mencakup uji normalitas data dan uji linieritas regresi, sedangkan untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian digunakan path analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesepuluh hipotesis yang diajukan berpengaruh langsung terhadap hal-hal terkait yang dikaji. Berdasarkan penerimaan kesepuluh hipotesis penelitian, ditemukan s s u u a a t t u u model teoretik yang menggambarkan struktur hubungan kausal antara variabel budaya organisasi, kepemimpinan, komunikasi interpersonal, kepuasan kerja, dan komitmen organisasi kepala SMK. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh: (1)  perilaku inovatif terhadap kepuasan kerja, (2) kepemimpinan pembelajaran terhadap kepuasan kerja, dan (3) perilaku inovatif dan kepemimpinan pembelajaran secara bersama-sama terhadap kepuasan kerja. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Sekolah Menegah Pertama (SMP) di Medan tahun 2013 dengan populasi 348 orang serta sampel 173 orang kepala SMP sebagai responden yang diambil secara random dan ditetapkan berdasarkan tabel Isaac dan Michael. Data penelitian dijaring dengan menggunakan kuesioner pilihan berganda model skala Likert, setelah terlebih dahulu diuji coba, yaitu untuk menguji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Untuk menguji hipotesis digunakan analisis regresi, namun sebelum data dianalisis, terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji persyaratan analisis,  yang mencakup: uji normalitas dengan Kolmogorov Smirnof Test; dan uji kelinieran regresi dengan menggunakan statistik F test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) perilaku inovatif berhubungan positif dan signifikan dengan kepuasan kerja, (2) kepemimpinan pembelajaran berhubungan positif dan signifikan dengan kepuasan kerja, (3) perilaku inovatif dan kepemimpinan pembelajaran secara bersama-sama berhubungan positif dan signifikan dengan kepuasan kerja. Jika dilihat besar sumbangannya, maka kepemimpinan pembelajaran lebih besar perannya dari perilaku inovatif untuk mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja kepala SMP di Medan.   Kata kunci: Perilaku Inovatif, Kepemimpinan Pembelajaran, Kepuasan  Kerja, Kepala Sekolah

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of participatory leadership on lecturers' organizational commitment, the influence of quality culture on lecturer organizational commitment, the effect of job satisfaction on lecturers' organizational commitment, the influence of participatory leadership and quality culture on job satisfaction and the commitment of lecturers' organizations at the State University of Medan, Indonesia. The sample is 202 lecturers. The instrument used a questionnaire, the data were analyzed using Path Analysis. The results of the study found that there was a significant influence of participatory leadership variables on job satisfaction. Quality culture has a positive effect on job satisfaction. Participatory leadership has a positive effect on organizational commitment. Quality culture has a positive effect on organizational commitment and job satisfaction also has a positive effect on organizational commitment. Taken together, participatory leadership, quality culture and job satisfaction have a positive effect on organizational commitment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and review: (1) teacher performance models that are built based on the associative causal relationship between exogenous variables and endogenous variables, (2) the effect of interpersonal communication on job satisfaction, (3) the effect of interpersonal communication on teacher performance, (4) the effect of satisfaction on teacher performance. This research was conducted in elementary schools with 154 respondents from 28 public elementary schools in Pidie Jaya. For questionnaire data collection with five alternative answer choices, while for the performance variable is done by observation using an observation sheet. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling. The instrument used was preceded by a trial to respondents outside the sample to obtain a valid and relative instrument. Validity test uses product moment correlation, whereas to test its reliability with the Alpha formula from Cronbach. Before testing the hypothesis first, the analysis requirements test is calculated including the data normality test and the regression linearity test. The results showed (1) obtained by the teacher performance model, (2) Interpersonal communication had a direct positive effect on job satisfaction, (3) Interpersonal communication had a direct positive effect on teacher performance, (4)Job satisfaction had a positive direct effect on teacher performance. Based on the acceptance of research hypotheses, a theoretical model or fixed model is found that describes the structure of the causal relationship between Interpersonal Communication variables, organizational culture, job satisfaction, work motivation and teacher performance while to test its reliability with the Alpha formula from Cronbach.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besar hubungan hasil belajar menggambar teknik, kemandirian belajar, minat berwirausaha dengan penguasaan teknik pemesinan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada SMK Negeri I Percut Sei Tuan dengan melibatkan 58 siswa kelas XI Program Keahlian Teknik Pemesinan sebagai responden. Data hasil belajar menggambar teknik merupakan data dokumentasi, data kemandirian belajar dan minat kewirausaha dijaring dengan menggunakan kuesioner pilihan berganda model skala Likert, dan data penguasaan teknik pemesinan dijaring dengan ujian praktek. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dalam dua tahap yakni secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Tujuan analisis deskriptif adalah untuk menggambarkan karakteristik data berupa rata-rata, median, modus dan varians. Analisis inferensial digunakan untuk menguji persyaratan dan hipotesis penelitian. Uji persyaratan analisis mencakup: uji normalitas data dan uji linieritas regresi. Uji normalitas data setiap variabel menggunakan uji Lilliefors. Uji kelinieran regresi antar variabel dilakukan menggunakan statistik uji F. Untuk menguji hipotesis digunakan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penguasaan teknik pemesinan siswa adalah cenderung dalam kategori cukup, hasil belajar menggambar teknik siswa adalah cenderung dalam kategori cukup, kemandirian belajar siswa adalah cenderung dalam kategori cukup, dan minat berwirausaha siswa adalah cenderung dalam kategori cukup. Hasil belajar menggambar teknik dengan penguasaan teknik pemesinan siswa memiliki hubungan positif dan berarti. Kemandirian belajar dengan penguasaan teknik pemesinan siswa memiliki hubungan positif dan berarti. Minat berwirausaha dengan penguasaan teknik pemesinan siswa memiliki hubungan positif dan berarti. Hasil belajar menggambar teknik, kemandirian belajar dan minat berwirausaha secara bersama-sama dengan penguasaan teknik pemesinan siswa memiliki hubungan positif dan berarti.Kata kunci: teknik pemesinan, hasil belajar, menggambar teknik, kemandirian belajar, minat berwirausaha

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengungkap beberapa faktor penentu kompetensi guru SD peserta PLPG Sumatera Utara tahun 2013.dan (2) menentukan Fixed Model atau model teoretik yang dapat menggambarkan hubungan kausalistik antar variabel laten yang menentukan kompetensi guru SD peserta PLPG Sumatera Utara tahun 2013. Jenis penelitian ini disebut metode survai, yang termasuk kategori penelitian ”explanatory atau confirmatory”, yaitu penelitian yang menjelaskan hubungan kausal dan pengujian hipotesis dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 105 orang guru SD peserta PLPG tahun 2013 di Sumatera Utara, yang diambil secara random. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal dan motivasi berprestasi secara langsung dan tidak langsung mempengaruhi kompetensi; komunikasi interpersonal dan motivasi berprestasi secara langsung mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi; serta komitmen organisasi secara langsung mempengaruhi kompetensi. Berdasarkan penerimaan  hipotesis penelitian maka ditemukan suatu  fixed model atau model teoretik yang menggambarkan struktur hubungan kausal antara variabel komunikasi interpersonal, motivasi berprestasi, komitmen organisasi, dan kompetensi guru SD peserta PLPG.   Kata kunci: Komunikasi Interpersonal, Motivasi Berprestasi, Komitmen Organisasi, Kompetensi, Guru

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) menguji apakah budaya organisasi dan efikasi diri berpengaruh langsung terhadap kepuasan kerja guru PAUD Inklusif (2) apakah budaya organisasi dan efikasi diri berpengaruh langsung terhadap motivasi kerja guru PAUD Inklusif (3) apakah budaya organisasi, efikasi diri, kepuasan kerja dan motivasi kinerja berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja guru PAUD Inklusif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, pendekatan ex post facto, populasi 152 orang, sampel 110 orang, teknik proportional random sampling dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin pada taraf kesalahan 5%, teknik pengumpulan data kuesioner skala likert dan teknik pengolahan data analisis jalur. Temuan penelitian secara parsial diperoleh pengaruh langsung (1) budaya organisasi terhadap kepuasan kerja sebesar 0,410; (2) efikasi diri terhadap kepuasan kerja sebesar 0,095; (3) budaya organisasi terhadap motivasi kerja sebesar 0,349; (4) efikasi diri terhadap motivasi kerja sebesar 0,394; (5) budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 0,226; (6) efikasi diri terhadap kinerja sebesar 0,177; (7) kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja sebesar 0,240; (8) motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja sebesar 0,243.Keywords: Budaya, efikasi, kepuasan, motivasi, kinerja, guru PAUD Inklusif

Abstract

Decision making in order to improve the performance of educational staff and compare it with practices that occur in the field, to make decisions both operational decisions and strategic decisions that have an impact on the future of education units, especially students, educators and education staff. This research method uses qualitative. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The results show that decision-making in order to improve the performance of educational staff carried out by the principal of the Santa Lusia Sei Rotan Elementary School has been going well so far, this can be seen from the process and stages carried out by the principal of the decision-making school, namely the observation stage, collecting data, planning and identifying problems related to education in schools, then conducting deliberations among teachers, to adopt a policy, carrying out interpersonal approaches to teachers to carry out organizing activities, providing ideas and brilliant ideas, involving teachers in training activities and competitions. The strategy carried out by an education unit leader or school principal requires a decision-making process in order to improve the performance of educational staff, namely identifying a problem, clarifying and prioritizing goals, creating choices, assessing choices, comparing predicted consequences. on each choice with goals, choose the option with consequences with goals.

Abstract

This study discusses the assessment of teacher performance to test the professionalism of educators at Santa Lucia Sei Rotan Elementary School. The background of this study is the requirement of a professional teacher in all subjects at all levels of education. Especially with the regulations of the Teacher and Lecturer Constitution, as well as the certification of educators. So to be able to know the professionalism of teachers carry out teacher performance assessments which include four basic components, namely pedagogic, personality, social, and professional. This research is intended to answer the following problems: (1) How is teacher performance assessed at Santa Lucia Sei Rotan Elementary School?, (2) What efforts should be made by school principals to improve teacher professionalism at Santa Lucia Sei Rotan Elementary School?. This research is a type of field research. Therefore the objects studied in schools are able to provide information about research studies. In order for this research to run well, research methods require planning steps that are systematic and in accordance with scientific principles. In addition, intensive qualitative research was carried out, participating in recording all data and then analyzing the data obtained during the research. This study shows that: (1). Teacher performance can be known by carrying out teacher performance assessments which make an activity to foster and develop professional teachers who from teachers, by teachers, for teachers. The principal assesses the implementation of learning including pre-learning (checking class readiness and apperception), core activities (mastery of material, learning strategies, use of media/sources, assessment of learning processes and outcomes, use of language), and closing (reflection, summary and follow-up) (2) Efforts by school principals to improve teacher professionalism by providing (a) guidance to teachers in preparing lesson plans, (b) monitoring teachers in carrying out learning, (c) supervising the running of educational activity programs, (d) checking condition and integrity of school facilities as supporting student achievement, (e) evaluating through briefings and educational program meetings
