Abstract

Penelitian ini mencoba membuat kajian kritis nalar integrasi keilmuan karya disertasi mahasiswa lulusan S1 dan S2 Prodi umum di PTU maupun PTKI yang melanjutkan studi doktoralnya di Pengkajian Islam di PTKIN. Hal ini menjadi penting dikaji sebab pengkajian Islam tidak bisa dilakukan hanya pada tataran labelisasi Islam, namun harus dikaji secara mendalam dan membutuhkan waktu panjang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan kuantifikasi data yang berbasis penelitian kepustakaan dan lapangan. Artinya, penelitian ini meski merupakan library research, namun secara praktis termasuk penelitian lapangan karena objek penelitiannya adalah disertasi mahasiswa non-Agama di 6 UIN yang ada di Indonesia. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kritis Haught dan Golshani. Haught dengan teologi evolusinya yang ilmu pengetahuan yang berbasis teori evolusi dapat diintegrasikan teologi yang berbasi keimanan, sedangkan Golshani lebih menempatkan agama sebagai entitas yang telah baku. Baginya, eksisetensi sains sangat bergantung pada kerangka metafisis saintis yang berakar pada nilai keislaman. Kedua teori ini akan dipergunakan dalam membongkar nalar metodologi integrasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian disertasi tersebut.

Abstract

This article investigates how women principals practice their leadership to address the global pandemic challenges encountered by Islamic-based junior high schools or madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs). The study examines the key behaviors and practices school leaders, particularly women, implement to address the global pandemic challenges. Some challenges in the global pandemic, including learning management, developing an online curriculum, school facilities, teacher performance, and school members' psychological well-being, were indicated to hinder the learning effectiveness in MTs. The MTs principals, the top-level leaders in the institutions, play a critical role in addressing these issues. This research utilized a multiple case study approach and collected qualitative data from six MTs in Bogor, Tangerang, and Bekasi. An in-depth interview with 18 participants was conducted to investigate the women's principal leadership practices. The findings revealed that principals displayed a catalytic leadership approach through an agent of change where school members and stakeholders are invited to change the curriculum system and performance to respond to the challenges of the global pandemic. The results of this study also indicate that most female principals prioritize the well-being of teachers and students in facing learning challenges in the pandemic era.

Abstract

Tafsir Maqāshidī: A Study of the Book of Tafsir al-Ahkam by Abdul Halim HasanThis study aims to analyze the interpretation in the Book of Tafsir al-Ahkam Abdul Halim Hasan related to the relationship between Muslims and non-Muslims based on maqāshidī interpretation. To examine Abdul Halim's interpretation, in this case the researcher uses the casuistic method, namely choosing the interpretation results as a sample that represents the methodological conclusions. The overall data in this study is written library research or library research, either in the form of books, research reports or journals related to research. The findings of this study indicate the application of maqāsid al-shari'ah elements in the Book of Tafsir al-Ahkam Abdul Halim Hasan, this can be seen from his interpretation of verses relating to Muslim and non-Muslim relations, such as; interfaith marriages, make infidels as guardians and insult the God of other religions. In Abdul Halim's interpretation it is explained that the prohibition of interfaith marriages is seen in maqāsid al-shari'ah, there is prudence in maintaining or maintaining religion and the prohibition of making non-believers as guardians for fear of betrayal, while the prohibition of insulting God of other religions aims to prevent damage between adherents of religions
