Abstract

The root of the research problem is that students' perceptions of mathematics tend to be negative, students' interest in learning is less because they can make money, teachers lack knowledge about learning models, so that the learning process tends to be monotonous, and student learning outcomes in mathematics are low. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), carried out in Class V UPT SPF SDN 105336 Rantau Panjang. Student learning outcomes before using the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) learning model: there were 21 students who scored in the incomplete category with an average value of 20.95. Furthermore, after using the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) learning model in the first cycle, the average student learning outcomes increased by 3 students (14.28%) in the complete category and 18 students (85.71%) in the incomplete category. In the first cycle it is considered not optimal because there are still many students who have not achieved the complete score and students look less active in learning. After making improvements, in the second cycle, student learning outcomes have increased. In the second cycle test results obtained an average of 80.95 with as many as 19 students (90.48%) in the complete category and 2 students (9.52%) in the incomplete category. The results of the observation are that the percentage of the success rate of teacher performance is 95.8%, the criteria are very good and student learning activities reach 75.9%, the criteria are sufficient. This shows that there is an increase in students' mathematics learning outcomes with the application of the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) learning model.

Abstract

In early 2020 the Covid-19 pandemic caused students to take part in learning from home via an internet network known as distance learning (PJJ). In PJJ, students are required to have the ability to learn independently or known as self-regulated learning (SRL), so that they can adapt to circumstances. Community service in the form of SRL training for students is carried out to broaden students' insights regarding various independent learning strategies so that they can become independent learners. The participants of this training were all 6th-grade students at SDIT BBS Bogor City, totalling 68 people, consisting of 33 boys and 35 girls ranging from 10 to 12 years. This SRL training method is given in the form of concepts and practices to students. The SRL concept used comes from Barry Zimmerman and Dale Schunk. The results of the training conducted on September 29, 2021, found that students understood SRL comprehensively 44.9%, the habit that most students were setting study time by 40.5%, students understood that they determined learning success by 41.1%, and 58% knew various types of SRL strategies. This SRL strategy is appropriate for use in learning, especially in PJJ, because it can encourage student independence in learning and reduce dependence on teachers and parents in education.

Abstract

Kata Kunci: Radio Frequency Identification (RFID); Internet of Things (IoT); Absensi Kehadiran siswa; Teknik Komputer Jaringan (TKJ); SMK N 1 Perhentian Raja; Abstract Along with the times, the use of technology in all lines of life is a must, including in the context of education. Responding to the need for digital and technology-savvy Indonesian human resources, SMK Negeri 1 Perhentian Raja provides two excellent majors, namely the Department of Computer Network Engineering (TKJ) and Aquaculture. Specifically, the problem that is the focus of this PKM program is that there are several teachers in certain classes in the Computer Network Engineering Department who still use a manual attendance system. On average, the teachers called the students one by one and then marked by the teacher on the attendance sheet. This will use up teaching time in classrooms and laboratories, resulting in less effective learning activities. In addition, students need an introduction to new technologies that are closely related to the majors they take at SMK. To overcome these problems, the PKM team provides training on new technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT) technology using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). The activity was attended by 5 teachers and 30 students majoring in TKJ starting with the Pre-test and ending with the Post-test. This program is still in the treatment period (training and mentoring) so the final result is expected to be a 90% increase in the knowledge and skills of students and teachers. Abstract

The description of AKMI results needs to be conveyed to MI teachers so they can be used as a reference in developing numeracy literacy learning in class. In developing numeracy literacy learning, teachers need a good understanding and skills about numeracy literacy. So that it is necessary to strengthen the concept of numeracy literacy for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers through technical guidance following up on the results of the Indonesian Student Competency Assessment. This activity consists of lectures, discussions, questions and answers with teachers; collaboration and discussion between teachers and other teachers; and demonstration/practice. The partners involved in this activity were Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers in Magelang Regency, Central Java, totalling 31 people. This activity ran smoothly, was interactive, and the participants were enthusiastic. Many participants took the pre-test and post-test, as many as 29 people. There was an increase of 27 people, although it has yet to occur significantly. In contrast, as many as two people are still at the same value—as many as 29 people have done peer teaching. Thus, there was an increase in participants' knowledge and skills regarding numeracy literacy.
