Abstract

Farmland in Gondanglegi District consist of 49% rice field and 21% field and it made Gondanglegi District as one of district that has potential in agriculture. However, there were 2.586 residents in Gondanglegi District which worked as Indonesian Migrant Worker and it made Gondanglegi district as the biggest contributor for Indonesian Migrant Worker in Malang Regency. It means that agriculture development failed to provide decent jobs for the residents which caused livelihood reshuffle in Gondanglegi District. This study aimed to determined primary variables that influenced society motivation to be Indonesian Migrant Worker based on agriculture characteristics (land, human resources, productivity, & income). Descriptive analysis used in this study for exploring agriculture characteristics and multiple linear regression analysis also used for exploring the influence of agriculture characteristic towards society motivation to be Indonesian Migrant Worker. Comparative of the result of multiple linier regression and descriptive analysis of agriculture characteristics are used to verified the influence every variables towards society motivation to be Indonesian Migrant Worker by spatial analysis. The result in this study was primary variable that influenced society motivation for being Indonesian Migrant Worker. Income was the primary variable that influenced society for chosing Indonesian Migrant Worker as livelihood because the more lower income made society motivation as Indonesian workface was bigger. Low income was influenced by marketing management which depend on factory. Besides that, there is no agricultural processing product system made by the society.Keywords: Characteristic of Agriculture, Indonesian Migrant Worker

Abstract

Seroja’s Agropolitan Region is an economic’s strategic area of Lumajang Regency. Seroja’s Agropolitan Region development aims to develop agribusiness that environmentally sound, increase added value and competitiveness, leverage resources, increase household incomes and GDP, as well as re-positioning of marketing at the national and global. Based on this background, the purpose of this research was to identify the characteristics of the Seroja’s Agropolitan Region, determine the development of Seroja’s Agropolitan Region, and creates strategy and direction of Seroja’s Agropolitan Region development. The analysis uses descriptive method, policy analysis, economic potential analysis, suitability of land analysis, determination of commodities analysis, linkage system analysis, institutional analysis, participatory analysis, region evaluation of the agropolitan region concept analysis, the analysis of potential problems, and SWOT analysis. When viewed from the research results, there are 3 good commodities to be developed in Seroja’s Agropolitan Region that are banana commodity, durian commodity, and breadfruit commodity. Banana commodity in the implementation of the agribusiness system can be said to have run well and developed with government support. Durian commodity and breadfruit haven’t received support from the Regional Government of Lumajang Regency. Seroja’s Agropolitan Region sustainable development requires a strategy and direction such as development of appropriate sub-systems agrobusiness commodities, spatial direction of Seroja’s Agropolitan Region, development of conservation farming systems in the mountains, development of supporting infrastructure agropolitan, and human resource development.Keywords: Evaluation, Development, Agropolitan.

Abstract

The village Ngadireso has 597 poor families households (61.5%) and has potential as rural food insecurity. Indicators of food insecurity include poverty as well as several other factors. The results of multiple regression analysis stated that food insecurity Village Ngadireso influenced by food patterns expectations (partial sig 12:00), the second factor is poverty (partial sig 0.004), the third factor is the vehicle asset (partial sig 0.542), the fourth factor is livestock assets (sig partial 0605), the fifth factor is land assets (partial sig 0.773), and the sixth factors is  production (partial sig 0.81). The most influencing factor is the food patterns  expectations and poverty. Based on those  factors, the concept in Food Insecurity in Rural Ngadireso are :  sustainable yard with planting eminent commodities and the provision of training and assistance in the sub-systems of farming Kata Kunci: food insecurity, poor village, regression analysis

Abstract

Tourism Village is currently being developed by the Batu City Government. The policy was adopted in the strategic plan of the Batu City Tourism Office in the field of tourism product development by increasing the number of tourism villages that have adequate infrastructure. However, the tourism potential of Sidomulyo Village has not been able to attract tourists to enjoy the village. The problem of Sidomulyo Tourism Village encourages the need for planning that pays attention to all aspects of the tourism village. Therefore, the study was conducted to formulate strategic priorities as a tourism village in Batu City. The sample used in this study are expert respondents. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is used to assess the priority of development strategies. Research shows that development elements prioritized in the development of Sidomulyo Tourism Village are human resource elements with alternative priority to make community groups independent and able to build strong work teams.

Abstract

Abstract: Measurement of Regional Performance Indicators (IKD) is intended to identify measures of success in achieving the vision and mission of regional heads and deputy regional heads which are designated as regional Main Performance Indicators (IKU) and performance indicators for regional governance. In the Malang City RPJMD Amendment document for 2018-2023 there are changes in targets on several Regional Performance Indicators based on the results of evaluation of performance achievements up to 2020, as well as targeted interventions due to the Covid-19 pandemic which has not yet been predicted to end. The measurement of Malang City Regional Performance Indicators in 2022 is expected to be able to describe the performance of local governments in general in the implementation of regional government affairs. The purpose of this study was to measure the achievements of nine regional performance indicators, namely the Human Development Index, Poverty Rate, PPKS Reduction Percentage, Gender Development Index, Community Development Index, and Social Capital Index. The analysis technique used is an analysis of the measurement of the results of nine regional performance indicators. The results of this analysis are that there are three indicators that have met the target of changing the Malang City RPJMD for 2018-2023, namely the Human Development Index, the Education Index, and the Health Index. Meanwhile, six other indicators still have not met the set targets.
