Abstract

Technological developments have made online media a preference for delivering news. News that is spread in online media influences people's mindset and life. This has implications for the high potential for people to be trapped in fake news that is massively spread in online media. This study analyses the hoaxes in the 2019 presidential campaign. The results discuss the fake news, namely (1) 7 fake news from 35 findings of fake news with a percentage of 20%, (2) 3 findings of types of fake news (clickbait) with a percentage of 8%, (3) 4 findings of confirmation bias with a percentage of 12%, (4) 6 findings of false news types of misinformation with a percentage of 18%, (5) there are 6 findings of satire types of fake news with a percentage of 18%, (6) 3 findings of post-truth types of fake news, with a percentage of 8%, (7) there are 5 findings of fake news types propaganda with a percentage of 16%. Basically, fake news spread in online media is nothing but leading readers to certain opinions that are full of political interests.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to investigate the process of horse braid arts in Trimodadi village. The method in this research used qualitative method. Data collection tecnique were interview, questionnaires, and documentation. Horse braid arts performance was started by calling the spirits. Its performance began with the knights, core dance frm Kidul Mountain, pegonan, orange flower, hockey dancing, dancing dombret and cakilan. The performance was finished by the dancers that were possessed by spirits and asked for permission to the host and the diviner returned back the spirits. The research result said that the horse braid found in Trimodadi village has modified heritage. The modification included a type of dance, music, songs, clothing, gear dancers, musical instruments, equipments and sajen performances.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pertunjukan Kuda Kepang di Desa Trimodadi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Atraksi Kuda Kepang diawali dengan pawang melakukan ritual pemanggilan roh. Atraksi tarian diawali dengan tari satria, tarian inti yaitu gunung kidul, pegonan, kembang jeruk, goyang hoki, goyang dombret dan cakilan. Atraksi diakhiri dengan penari yang kesurupan berpamitan kepada yang punya hajat kemudian pawang memulangkan roh. Pertunjukan Kuda Kepang yang ada di Desa Trimodadi telah banyak mengalami modifikasi dari warisan nenek moyang. Modifikasinya yaitu jenis tarian, musik, lagu, pakaian, perlengkapan penari, alat musik, perlengkapan pertunjukan dan sajen.Kata kunci: budaya jawa, kesenian, kuda kepang
