Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kepuasan mahasiswa berdasarkan kinerja dosen dalam proses perkuliahan di FKIP Jurusan Matematika Universitas Siliwangi. Ada beberapa tujuan penelitian ini. Pertama, mengetahui tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa yang dipengaruhi oleh kinerja dosen dalam proses perkuliahan; Kedua, mengetahui kepuasan mahasiswa yang diakibatkan oleh kinerja dosen dalam proses perkuliahan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika dan peneliti mengambil mahasiswa semester ganjil untuk dijadikan sampel penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi angket yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa. Analisis data menggunakan korelasi untuk mengetahui pengaruh kinerja dosen terhadap kepuasan mahasiswa dalam proses perkuliahan. Target penelitian yang ingin dicapai adalah publikasi ilmiah dalam jurnal yang memiliki ISSN atau jurnal nasional terakreditasi. Setelah melaksanakan penelitian, hasil yang diperoleh adalah terdapat hubungan antara kepuasan mahasiswa dilihat dari sisi tangible, reliability, assurance dan emphaty dengan kinerja dosen dalam proses perkuliahan. Sedangkan kepuasan mahasiswa dilihat dari sisi responsiveness tidak terdapat hubungan terhadap kinerja dosen dalam proses perkuliahan. Adapun hasil kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap kinerja dosen menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa cukup puas terhadap kinerja dosen dari berbagai aspek dan faktor yang terdapat dalam proses perkuliahan.Kata Kunci : Kepuasan Mahasiswa, Kinerja Dosen, Proses Perkuliahan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkajia sosiasi antara kemampuan koneksi matematik dengan kemampuan komunikasi matematik, yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan metode inkuiri model Alberta. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika Universitas Siliwangi angkatan 2015. Sampel penelitian dipilih secara purposive sampling yaitu mahasiswa yang sudah terdaftar dengan kelas tersebut akan dilihat dari kemampuan awal mahasiswa yaitu kemampuan tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Sehingga tidak dimungkinkan untuk membuat kelompok baru secara acak. Satu kelompok dijadikan sebagai kelompok eksperimen yaitu kelas 2015 A. Instrumen berupa soal tes kemampuan koneksi dan komunikasi matematik. Tehnik analisis datanya perbedaan dua rata-rata, sedangka nuntuk mengetahui asosiasi dilakukan perhitungan dengan uji kontingensi dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 23.32 for Windows. Tidak terdapat asosiasi antara kemampuan koneksi matematik dan kemampuan komunikasi matematik mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of mathematical connection ability of students using Problem Based Learning model (PBL) with GeoGebra assisted software and not assisted GeoGebra software. The research method used is the experimental method with the population of all students classes VII SMP Negeri 1 Rajapolah. Samples were taken two classes at random, selected class VII-I using Problem-Based Learning model with GeoGebra software and class VII-H using Problem Based Learning model. Data collection techniques in this study are to test the ability of mathematical connections of learners and disseminate the questionnaire of mathematical disposition. Instruments used in this study is a matter of test the ability of mathematical connections of learners. Data analysis technique used is the test of difference of two mean and quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of processing, data analysis and hypothesis testing obtained the conclusion that the improvement of mathematical connection ability of learners through Problem Based Learning (PBL) model of GeoGebra software is not better or same with Problem Based Learning (PBL) model which is not supported by GeoGebra software.

Abstract

This research is aimed at improving the ability of students’ mathematical understanding through REACT strategy. This research method is a quasi-experimental study with the non randomized study design pretest-posttest control group design. Samples were students of class X of one vocational school in Tasikmalaya. The instruments used were pretest and posttest ability of students’ mathematical understanding. The data were analyzed quantitatively. The results showed that: (1) students who obtain learning through REACT strategy had significantly better improvement than students who received conventional learning (2) Students who earn learning with REACT strategy shows there is a difference compared with students who received conventional learning to be reviewed on the level of high, medium, and low (3) students who earn learning with REACT strategy by category ability of students to the ability of students’ mathematical understanding is better than conventional learning. This means REACT strategy can improve comprehension.

Abstract

Interactive multimedia works as an interactive media in learning. The aim of this research is to develop and determine the feasibility. The method used in this research is Research Development with quantitative research methods. This research creates an interactive multimedia assisted by Adobe Flash Professional CS6 that is geared towards understanding mathematical concepts then by whole material experts, mathematical concept comprehension experts, learning design experts and multimedia experts, the feasibility of the product under construction, until the final design is obtained in the form of an interactive model multimedia product developed on the basis of the ADDIE development model. Data analysis with ADDIE. The results of this research are interactive multimedia assisted by Adobe Flash Professional CS6, the development of interactive multimedia geared towards the understanding of mathematical concepts of students using the ADDIE development process which includes analysis, design, development, implementation implementation and evaluation. The design shows that the navigation structure did not work on all elements of interactive multimedia, the display is not yet colorful and eye-catching, the content of the presented material conforms to the user's specifications, the sound effects are complete. The feasibility of interactive multimedia geared towards understanding students' mathematical concepts by experts on the entire material, experts in understanding mathematical concepts, experts in learning design and multimedia experts on content validity and validity construction shows that the product is usable. The final interactive multimedia design is the result of the media feasibility test and the first review phase. The final design shows that the product is easy to use as it is configured with a simple navigation system, colorful and eye-catching screen, games and sound effects that make learning math more interesting and memorable. Face validity responses show that clarity of text, images, audio and animation gets a very understandable category, clarity of language gets a very understandable category, ease of use of multimedia gets a very understandable category and the ease of learning of the material gets an understandable category. Overall, the response from the students was very good and resulted in an interactive multimedia final product geared towards understanding mathematical concepts.
