Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memetakan kompetensi qiraah mahasiswa non pesantren di Program studi Bahasa dan Sastra Arab dalam membaca naskah Arab? Bagaimana pula skor kompetensi mahasiswa non pesantren tersebut dalam membaca naskah Arab? Permasalahan ini akan peneliti bahas dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian kuantitatif adalah penelitian yang berangkat dari teori ke lapangan kemudian kembali ke teori untuk diuji kebenarannya.Adapun sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan teknik penarikan purposive sampling. Teknik penarikan sampel ini dipilih berdasarkan karakteristik penelitian, yaitu mahasiswa non pesantren pada program studi Bahasa dan Sastra Arab UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa kemampuan membaca teks bahasa Arab pada tahap penyimpulan teks mahasiswa lulusan non pesantren masuk dalam kategori rendah. Hal ini salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh pengalaman dan latar belakang sekolah mahasiswa tersebut sebelum masuk ke perguruan tinggi Islam. Latar belakang dan pengalaman ini sangat penting bagi mahasiswa yang ingin studi lanjut ke perguruan tinggi pada program studi bahasa dan sastra Arab, agar bisa mengikuti proses belajar mengajar secara cepat dan lulusan yang berkualitas. Kemudian perolehan skor kemampuan membaca teks bahasa Arab pada tahap menyimpulkan teks pada tes pertama skor terendah adalah 10, skor terendah pada tes kedua adalah 20. Kemudian skor rata-rata pada tes pertama adalah 55,6 dan pada tes kedua 46,5. Skor nilai tengah pada tes pertama adalah 60, dan pada tes kedua 45. Skor nilai paling banyak pada tes pertama adalah 40,50, dan 60, dan pada tes kedua 30,40,50.

Abstract

Introduction. The existence of demotivating phenomena in the process of learning Arabic is very much felt by the instructor at this time, it can be seen from the low of the final result of students. Data Collection Method. Using a study literature approach Analysis Data. Using a descriptive analysis Results and Discussions. There is a positive correlation to the role of motivation in language learning. This is evidenced by several studies that say that motivation can improve the results of student learning achievement. In the research conducted by Nik Mohd Rahimi Nik Yusoff, Zamri Mahamod, Kamarulzaman AB. Ghani, found that the relationship between motivation towards proficiency in hearing Arabic and achieving proficiency in hearing Arabic (r = 0.613). This shows that the achievement of students in the ability to hear Arabic is somewhat influenced by students' motivation towards the ability to hear Arabic. Abstract

Writing skills are the highest of the other four language skills. Therefore, of course, writing skills have a variety of complex problems. This writing activity is the ability to think systematically, rationally and requires the ability to master vocabulary to put it in writing. This study analyzes how the ability to write Arabic is accompanied by an overview of the ability score possessed by students. This study aims to see the scores of students' Arabic writing ability, be it the average score, the lowest score and the highest score of writing Arabic in students of the Arabic language and literature study program. by using quantitative research methods that go from theory to the field to be tested for correctness and use purposive samples of students who are not from islamic boarding school backgrounds.This study aims to see the scores of students' Arabic writing ability, be it the average score, the lowest score and the highest score of writing Arabic in students of the Arabic language and literature study program. by using quantitative research methods that go from theory to the field to be tested for correctness and use purposive samples of students who are not from islamic boarding school backgrounds. The results of the study found that the ability to write Arabic in Arabic language and literature students was included in the low-ability category. From the two sample categories, first semester students got an average score of 16.59 and third semester students got a score of 12.66. In the language writing ability score, the highest score was 9.85 with the ability to write Arabic sound symbols. Then the lowest score of 0.19 on the ability to write characteristic letters using grammar on syntactic and morphological forms. Then the lowest score is obtained on the ability of students to write perfect sentences by including making the number of ismiyah and the number of mufidah with a score of 0.18. Another ability with the lowest score is the ability of students to write sentences with the use of comma punctuation and exclamation marks with a score of 0.19.
