Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of physical education learning at the elementary school level during the COVID-19 pandemic in Jombang Regency. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using one variable without making comparisons with other variables. The method used is a survey using questionnaires and documentation. The population of the study was all the sports teachers in the Physical Education MGMP members as many as 130 teachers throughout Jombang Regency. The research sample was 100 out of a total of 130 sports teachers in Jombang who were randomly selected according to the percentage of the total number of teachers. The measuring instrument used in the variable of the implementation of physical education learning is a questionnaire with a Likert scale which has a weighted score of 1-5. The research sample filled out the questionnaire given by checking the column and assigning weights according to the five alternative answers provided, ranging from strongly agree, agree, hesitate, disagree, and strongly disagree. The scale for statements is favourable and unfavorable. The results showed that the level of implementation of physical education learning at the elementary school level during the COVID-19 pandemic, all elementary school sports teachers in Jombang Regency were in the "very low" category of 8% (8 teachers), "low" of 15.0% (15 teachers), “medium” by 46% (46 teachers), “high” by 26.0% (26 teachers), and “very high” by 5% (5 students). Based on the average score, which is 89.62, the identification of the implementation level of physical education learning at the elementary school level during the COVID-19 Pandemic Period, all elementary school sports teachers in Jombang Regency were at the "medium" level.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how high the level of knowledge of physical education teachers on the rules of basketball games in high schools in Jombang district. The research method used a descriptive research approach by surveying 18 physical education teachers in 12 high school schools in Jombang District, Jombang Regency. East Java. The data collection technique is done by using a questionnaire that utilizes the google form application so that the questionnaire can be filled online. The data analysis used is descriptive with the results of the assessment of all teachers carried out with the same tool which will be made into 5 categories, namely very high, high , moderate, low and very low categories. The results showed the level of knowledge of the physical education teachers on the rules of basketball games in high schools in Jombang District, namely 5 respondents (27.78%) were in the very high category, 4 respondents (22.22%) were in the high category, 5 respondents ( 27.78%) is in the medium category, 1 respondent (5.55%) is in the low category, and 3 respondents (16.67%) are in the Very low category, and when viewed from the mean (Mean) in the overall results of respondents with a value of 25.61, this value is also in the "medium" category. Thus it can be concluded that physical education teachers in SMA in Jombang District have a fairly good level of knowledge of the rules of the basketball game.

Abstract

Basketball is a sport in which body contact occurs between players, which often causes chaos during matches so that it can become a source of commotion that can injure the spirit of sportsmanship in sport (fair play). This research is a population study, so the entire population is used as a research sample, namely all basketball clubs sheltered by Perbasi Jombang, totaling 102 players. The research variable is the single variable, namely the understanding of fair play of basketball club players in Perbasi Jombang. The data collection method used a questionnaire technique, the data were analyzed using descriptive percentage analysis. Based on the results of the study, it is known that as many as 13 respondents (12.75%) have a very good level of understanding of fair play, 79 respondents (77.45%) have a good level of understanding of fair play and as many as 10 respondents (9.80%) have a good level of understanding of fair play. fairly good understanding of fair play. That understanding includes the meaning of the word fair play which is actually 82.23%, understanding the purpose of fair play by 77.78%, understanding the moral values contained in fair play by 83.74%, understanding the rules or fair play exponents. in basketball games by 72.84%, and the form of self-esteem reflected in fair play by 79.36%. It can be concluded that most of the basketball club players in Perbasi Jombang are good at understanding fair play in a basketball game
