Abstract

Upik Home Industry is one of the businesses engaged in the chips industry. Problems in Upik Home Industry that are often faced in decision making are problems that contain several goals in it. To overcome these problems, the Goal Programming approach is used. Goal Programming is an extension of linear programming which is used to solve linear equations with more than one objective function. The purpose of this study was to determine the completion of Goal Programming using the revised simplex method in maximizing profits at Upik Home Industry Padang Panjang, West Sumatra. The method used in this study is the revised simplex method. The revised simplex method uses an inverse basis to perform calculations in determining the incoming and outgoing variables. Based on the results of research, the goal is to minimize working times, minimize raw materials for cassava, oil, salt and maximize sales quotas for sanjai balado and is not  achieved. And goals for maximizing profit,  goals for minimizing raw material for garlic and minimizing the sales quota for sanjai original, sanjai kunyit dan tusuk gigi  is achieved. So that the total production for original sanjai ( as much 30,67 kg, sanjai kunyit ( as much 18 kg and tusuk gigi ( as much 18 kg.Keywords: Goal Programming, Home industry, Revised Simplex.

Abstract

This study describes the trade liberalization which causes a Threat of loss for the domestic industries. Hence, the country implements protectionism policies against its industry from the Threat of imports. This research discusses the interests of Indonesia in imposing an import duty policy of trade safeguard measures on the import of ceramic tiles (case study: the import of ceramic tiles from Tiongkok).This qualitative research uses the descriptive explanative method, in which the data sources were taken from; books, journals, official articles, mass media, and official websites. The perspective used by the writer in this thesis is the perspective of Mercantilism with the the nation-state level of analysis and the theory used is the theory of protectionism, it can be seen from the efforts of the country to protect the domestic ceramic tiles industries from the threat of ceramic tiles imports from Tiongkok by implementing import duty policy of trade safeguards measures.The results of this study decribes that Indonesia imposed an import duty policy of trade safeguards measures against the import of ceramic tiles is to protect the ceramic tile industries from threat of imports which are cheaper than local ceramic tiles, which causes domestic industries to be threatened in the form of serious losses that is financial losses.  Keywords : Import Duty, Safeguard Measures, National Interest, Protectionism, Mercantilism Perspective

Abstract

One of the steps on mastery the remote sensing technology (inderaja) for satellite was the development of aerial camera prototype that could be an alternative for LAPAN light cargo aircraft mission (LAPAN Surveillance Aircraft, LSA-01). This system was expected could be operated to fulfill the emptiness or change the remote sensing data of optical satellite as the observer of vegetation covered by cloud. On this research, it was developed a prototype of pushbroom airborne camera 4-channels spectrum with very high resolution that worked on wavelength range seem near infra-red/ NIR used simple components that were available in the commercial market (commercial off-the-shelf/ COTS components). This research also developed georeference imagery software module used method of direct georeference rigorous model that had been applied on SPOT satellite. For this one, it was installed supported sensory for GPS and IMU as the writer of location coordinate and camera behavior while doing the imagery exposure or acquisition. The testing result gave confirmation that COTS components, such as industry camera LQ-200CL, and lower class GPS and IMU could be integrated became a cheaper remote sensing system, which its imagery product could be corrected systematically. The corrected data product showed images with GSD 0.4m still had positioning mistakes on average 157m (400 pixel) from the original position on GoogleEarth. On spectro-radiomatic aspect, the used camera had much higher sensitivity of NIR channel than the looked-channel so it caused bored faster. On the future, this system needed to be fixed by increasing the rate of GPS/ IMU data updates, and increased enough time resolution system so that the synchronization process and the availability supported data for completing more accurate georeference process. Besides, the sensitivity of NIR channel needed to be lower down to make it balance to the looked-channel.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Regional Disaster Management Agency of Labuhanbatu Regency, with the aim of analyzing the influence of individual personality, ability, commitment and work facilities on employee performance, either simultaneously or partially. The results of the study indicate that partially and simultaneously, all independent variables have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, this can be proven by the t test and F test. The results of the t test can be described as follows, the individual personality variable (X1) has a tcount value (3.59) > ttable (1.66) which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. While the significant value is smaller than the probability value of 0.05 or a significant value of 0.001 <0.05. Thus it can be concluded that the individual personality variable (X1) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Ability (X2) has a value of tcount (4.08) > ttable (1.66) which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. While the significant value is smaller than the probability of 0.05 or 0.000 <0.05. Thus it can be concluded that the ability (X2) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Commitment (X3) has a value of tcount (6.56) > ttable (1.66) which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, while the significant value is less than the probability of 0.05 or 0.000 <0.05. Thus it can be concluded that commitment (X3) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work facilities (X4) have a value of tcount (9.30) > ttable (1.66) which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, while the significant value is less than the probability of 0.05 or 0.000 <0.05. Thus it can be concluded that work facilities (X4) have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The value of Fcount is 148.39 > Ftable 2.47 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. From these results, it can be concluded that individual personality, ability, commitment and work facilities simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

Pada sistem kelistrikan terdapat banyak macam-macam pelanggan dengan tingkat yang berbeda-beda, hal tersebut dapat menimbulkan kerumitan dalam pengoperasian dan pelayanan. Sistem tersebut dibangun dari keadaan yang sederhana, yang kemudian berkembang sesuai kebutuhan beban. Sampai pada saat ini sistem dirasakan sudah demikian besar dan sudah demikian komplek. Setiap aktifitas membutuhkan peningkatan pelayanan pelanggan dan efisiensi opersionalnya. Terdapat dua hal yang harus diperhatikan dalam pengelolaan tersebut. Pertama komumikasi data untuk pengolahan informasi, kedua teknologi komunikasi yang dapat mentransver data-data untuk operasi sistem. Dalam situasi seperti ini, pengelolaan secara konvensional jelastidak dapat mengcover kebutuhan sehingga dapat berakibat terhadap mutu pelayanan. Perkembangan teknologi dan informasi telah membawa era baru dalam semua aspek kehidupan. Dalam sistem ketenagalistrikan perkembangan informasi juga membawa pengaruh yang sangat besar. Pengelolaan sistem ketenagagalistrikan di negara-negara maju telah menggunakan sistem SCADA berbasis digital telah memberikan alternative pengeloaaan yang sangat efektif dan efesien. Pada Penelitian ini SCADA digunakan sebagai software untuk mengolah data pada Rekloser sistem SCADA dengan tujuan untuk Peningkatan Pelayanan Pelanggan dan Efisiensi Operasional Ketenagalistrikan di Wilayah Area pelayanan jaringan Cirebon.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan manajemen risiko dalam organisasi perbankan Syariah, Metode  penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur, Metode studi literatur adalah serangkaian kegiatan yang berkenaan dengan metode pengumpulan data pustaka, membaca dan mencatat, serta mengelolah bahan penelitian. Abstract

Turbo cyclone merupakan suatu alat yang membentuk lingkaran mirip baling-baling dengan beberapa sirip statis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh dari penambahan turbo cyclone sudu 5 dengan kemiringan 50°, turbo cyclone sudu 5 dengan kemiringan 60o dan turbo cyclone sudu 5 dengan kemiringan 70o terhadap unjuk kerja motor bensin yaitu torsi, daya dan emisi gas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental dimana metode yang digunakan untuk menguji suatu perlakuan atau desain baru dengan cara membandingkan hasil sebelum perlakuan dengan hasil sesudah perlakuan sebagai pengontrolnya. Hasil penelitian yang didapat menunjukan adanya perbedaan dari unjuk kerja yang dihasilkan yakni hasil pengujian torsi yang terbaik pada pengujian torsi menggunakan turbo cyclone sudu 5 dengan kemiringan 50⁰ tanpa menggunakan fiter udara dengan nilai torsi rata-rata sebesar 9,38 N.m torsi maksimal sebesar 11,11 N.m pada putaran 3500 rpm dengan penurunan -5,76 %. Sedangkan hasil pengujian daya yang terbaik pada turbo cyclone sudu 5 dengan kemiringan 50⁰ tanpa menggunakan filter udara dengan nilai daya rata-rata sebesar 6,08 HP dengan daya maksimal sebesar 7,59 HP pada putaran 5500 rpm dengan penurunan -7,12 %. Sedangkan hasil pengujian CO yang terbaik pada turbo cyclone sudu 5 dengan kemiringan 70⁰ dengan menggunakan filter udara dengan nilai CO rata-rata sebesar 0,72 %, CO minimal 0,28 % dengan penurunan -63,6 %. Sedangkan hasil pengujian HC yang terbaik pada turbo cyclone sudu 5 dengan kemiringan 60⁰ tanpa menggunakan filter udara dengan nilai HC rata-rata sebesar 61,2 ppm, HC minimal 34 ppm dengan penurunan -38,8 %.
