Abstract

This research used qualitative research methods that the source data is takenfrom books, journals, media, internet, and previous research has relevant datawith the title. Perspectives and levels of analysis used in this study is that the stateas the main actor. This research also using the concept of national interest andthe theory of trade disputes. This research will explain the Indonesian responseabout this case. Diplomatic relation between Indonesia and China has beenestablished since 1990 and it runs very well. Problem appeared in 2007 whenChina’s food product contained hazardous substances (formaldehida) andunstandardization indicated spreaded and distributed widely in Indonesia. Theresults of this research showed that Indonesia governm launched a publicwarning number KH. 01.84.53.094 about China’s food product containedhazardous substances (formaldehida), appeal for not consume China’s foodproduct in the list of that public warning and conduct meeting with China’sgovernment to discuss about the food standardizations and healthy food quality.Key Words : Formaldehida Public Warning Food standardization

Abstract

This research describes the cooperation between Finland-Indonesia on renewable energy (biomass) in 2011-2014. Biomass is a renewable energy sources which refers to biological material that comes from organisms that have not been long dead (compared with fossils fuel). The Government of Indonesia; cooperating with The Government of Finland, plans to develop a new renewable energy (EBT) which was presented in “The Energy and Environment Partnership (EEP) with Indonesia” Program. Cooperation with The Finland Governmentis quite suitable because at this time, 80% percents of Finland energy sources derived from biomass.The research method used is a descriptive of qualitative research method about the facts. This research is an explanatory that describe about problem, indication, policies, and actions. In writing techniques, the author’s collect and collate data through library research from several sources like books, journals, articles, websites, the media and others. The author’s also use the concept of cooperation in view the case in this study.This research shows based on the results of energy research sector,Indonesian countered a serious problem, because the rate of energy demand growth exceeds the domestic energy supply. The crude oil and gasoline; that has been imported; force Indonesian people to looking for another energy sources to overcome energy demand that jumped year by year. Abstract

This research was made to explain about effort of Indonesian Diplomacy to improve the foreign investments in Batam City, the program is Diplomatic Tour at September, 7-9 September, 2012. Diplomatic Tour is a program of the Indonesia Foreign Ministry who promoted potential in some region in Indonesia to introduce up the world.The word of Diplomacy is from Ancient Greek Language, “Diploma”. The writer used Neoliberalism Theory. Theory of Location, and FDI consepth. Riau Island Province is a second foreign tourist gateway in Indonesia. The Province had two cities, they are Batam and Tanjung Pinang. Batam, Bintan, and Karimun are as Special Economic Zone in 2006, SEZ is a cooperation in placing one zone or more what ever investment and trade activity are done without intervention by local government, in other word local government only facilitator for investor through decreasing tax.One of advantage Diplomatic Tour program isi increasing the value of foreign investment in 2013 is rearch US$ 16,467,103,359,13. Abstract

This research describes about the motivation of India rejecting the elimination of domestic food subsidies in ninth WTO Ministerial Conference at Bali in 2013. This problem occurs when the developed countries that are members of WTO urge the elimination of domestic food subsidies at Ministerial Conference as set out in the Agreement on Agriculture (AOA) in 1995, which aims to reduce the role of government in agriculture and trade to reduce trade barriers on international trade.The writer collects data from books, encyclopedia, journals, mass media and websites to analyze the motivation of India rejecting the elimination of domestic food subsidies in ninth WTO Ministerial Conference at Bali in 2013. The theories applied in this research are foreign policy theory model the decision-making from Richard Snyder and national interest from Donald E. Nuechterlein.The research shows that the motivation of India rejecting the elimination of domestic food subsidies in WTO Ministerial Conference because the India goverment considers the elimination of domestic food subsidies would adversely affect the condition of agriculture in India. While at the same time the Indian goverment is trying to achieve self-sufficiency of food in India with sufficient national food stocks.Keywords : Subsidies, Food, Motivation

Abstract

This reasearch analyzes the role of Taliban in Opium trade in Afghanistan, especially during 2007 until 2011. Afghanistan is the world’s largest producer of opium. Since Taliban become the most powerful group in Afghanistan, Taliban is the one of most detrimental impact of opium poppy cultivation and opium trafficking in Afghanistan.Since the 2001 U.S. invasion of Afghanistan, the poppy trade has played a criticalmdestabilizing role, both in corrupting the Afghan government and police and in bankrolling the resurgence of the Taliban. This reasearch shows how Taliban commanders on the village level have expanded their activities related to drugs from collecting extortion and charging protection fees to running heroin refineries and other smuggling schemes.The datas were collected from many source like books, journals, and website that can support this reasearch. In this reasearch, the reasearch uses pluralism perspective to describe the role of Thaliban on increassing opium production in Afghanistan. This reasearch is supported by role theory. Abstract

This research describes United States of America’s Cyber Security Strategy facing the cyber warfare threads from 2009 till 2014. The main goals are securing cyber vital infrastructures and digital informations of United States. Vital infrastructures are composed of public and private institutions in the sectors of agriculture, food, water, public health, emergency services, government, defense industrial base, information and telecommunications, energy, transportation, banking and finance, chemicals and hazardous materials, postal and shipping, internet network, and many others.The method that is used in this research is qualitative research. Some of the datas are obtained from books, journals, articles, internet and other media. This research focuses on the influence of United State’s cyber security strategy facing cyber warfare threads. Using strategy theory and securitization theory, this research will find out if US government successes to secure their cyber environment or not.Cyber warfare is a thread, it can be a trigger to the physical war. Cyber attackers can compromise other computers or networks to use as intermediaries, or channel through anonymizing proxies that hide their Internet protocol (IP) address. Also, using underground internet or deep web can penetrate enemy’s database. Through the intelligence agencies, United States applied it. It has multy functions. Abstract

This research explain about Indonesia was using Culinary as a tool of diplomacy to Spain in 2012-2015. Cultural diplomacy using this culinary starting from gastronomy week events held republic Indonesian embassy in Spain precisely on 22 January 2012 to invite some ambassadors to taste the Indonesia’s culinary. Indonesian gastronomy week is the result of cooperation Embassy in Madrid, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Intercontinental Madrid and Mid Plaza Jakarta in the Restaurant Intercontinental Madrid, Spain.By using the theory of cultural diplomacy, the next will be presented also the culinary owned by Indonesia and Spain as well as the similarity thus becoming one of the considerations of cultural diplomacy using this culinary untill today. Indonesian ambassador to Spain also explained that they will consistently promote Indonesian culture in Spain mainly through culinary. This is a qualitative research by conducting literature rewiew and compiling data from journals, book, and websites.This research shows how the efforts of Indonesia to increase cooperation with Spain through cultural diplomacy. Abstract

This research will explain about cooperation between two inter non-governmental organinization named Fred Hollows Foundations (FHF) from Australia and Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology(TIO) from Nepal. As one of the poorest country in South Asian, desease that causing blindness. Geographical conditions which are in southern Nepal Himalaya make this country has a low level of eye health. This is due to the difficulty of patients to gain access to public services which are mostly located in the capital of Nepal, Kathmandu. FHF works together with TIO to carry out eye health care program such as OMEC (Outreach Microsurgical Eye Camp), Geta Eye Hospital, Training and Infrastructure Development, Advocacy.Sources were obtained through literature revivew from books, journals, reports, and internet to explain FHF and TIO programs. The writer using pluralism as a perspective and cooperation theory as a theory.The survey of blindness in Nepal has been done twice in 1981 and 2010. Abstract

This research porpuse is to description about the efford of Iran tosucceeds Tehran NAM Summit. Iran has got sanction from United States, Security Council of United Nation, and European Union since few years ago. This invites all states in the world to join together for isolating Iran from international forum. Yet, AS and Israel’s threat to forbid all of Non Aligned Movement members to attend the Tehran Summit Iran ignores.This research applying qualitative methods and library research. The author used diplomacy theory with the level of the nation-state analysis the source of the research are from of books, journals, publications, articles, news and internet. Iran succeeds in inviting all of Non Aligned Movement members to come to this agenda. For the first time, the Egypt’s president, after the Camp David Agreement, comes to Tehran for attending this summit. The United Nation secretary, Ban Kimoon, also comes to the agenda.This research, concluded that Iran succeeds in inviting all of Non Aligned Movement members to come to this agenda. The Non Aligned Movement Summit succeeded in making a declaration, which called “Tehran Declaration”. It is a milestone of the existence of the Non Aligned Movement’s role in international affair.
