Abstract

Aluminum (Al) toxicity is the major limiting factor of plant growth and production in acid soils. The target of Al toxicity is the root tip, which affects mainly on root growth inhibition. The aim of this research was to study the uptake and distribution of Al in root apices of two rice varieties IR64 (Al-sensitive) and Krowal (Al-tolerant), which were grown on nutrient solution containing 0, 15, 30, 45, and 60 ppm of Al. The root growth was significantly inhibited in both rice varieties at as low as 15 ppm Al concentration. The adventive roots of both varieties showed stunted growth in respons to Al stress. There was no difference in root growth inhibition between both rice varieties as well as among Al concentrations. Al uptake on root apices was qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed. Histochemical staining of roots using hematoxylin showed dark purple color on 1 mm region of Al-treated root apices. Rice var. IR 64 tended to take up more Al in root tip than Krowal did. However, there was no statistically significant difference (p = 0.176) in root Al content of both varieties in response to different concentration and period of Al treatments. Al distribution in root apices was found in the epidermal and subepidermal region in both rice varieties. Based on those results, rice var. Krowal that was previously grouped as Al-tolerant variety has similar root growth and physiological response to Al stress as compared to Al-sensitive variety IR64. Abstract

α-Mangostin merupakan senyawa yang memiliki fungsi sebagai antibakteri, antijamur, antitumor, antiinflamasi, dan antioksidan. Validasi metode analisis α-Mangostin dalam review artikel ini menggunakan dua metode yaitu spektrofotometri ultraviolet dan KLT-densitometri. Dengan tujuan yaitu untuk memvalidasi metode analisis yang paling sesuai pada penetapan kadar α-mangostin dalam plasma darah manusia secara In vitro. Pada metode spektrofotometri ultraviolet protein dilakukan pengendapan dengan metanol agar obat yang terikat dengan protein dapat terbebaskan. Sedangkan pada KLT-Densitometri, silica gel 60 F254 sebagai fase diam dan kloroform:etil asetat (9:1) sebagai fase gerak dilakukan proses pemisahan yang selanjutnya akan dilakukan proses scanner dengan menggunakan densitometri. Dari kedua metode tersebut, metode yang paling baik untuk analisis a-manhostin ini adalah metode KLT-Densitometri karena memiliki nilai akurasi dsn linearitas yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan metode spektrofotometri ultraviolet

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of interest rate, and financial distress of stock return on manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019-2021. The sampling method used in this research is purposive sampling with 47 manufacturing company. Data used for this study is obtained from financial statement for the year ended December 31st during 2019-2021. Analysis tool that will be used to analyze the hypothesis with multiple linier regression model is software IBM SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) version 23.0 for Windows. The result for this research showed that interest rate have positive and significant effect on stock return, while financial distress has positive and not significant effect on stock return.

Abstract

 ABSTRAKTelah dilakukan penelitian Uji daya hambat ekstrak daun tammate (Lannea Coromandelica) terhadap bakteri Propionilbacterium Acnes dan Escherichia Coli. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental laboratorium yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas daya hambat antibakteri ekstrak etanol 70% daun tammate (Lannea Coromandelica) terhadap bakteri Propionilbacterium Acnes dan Escherichia Coli. Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode disc diffusion yaitu dengan menggunakan Kontrol media adalah NA (Nutrient Agar). Dihasilkan zona hambatan dengan diameter berbeda yang diperoleh dari ekstrak etanol 70% daun tammate (Lannea coromandelica) pada bakteri Propionilbacterium acnes konsentrasi 10%, 20% yaitu 10,540 mm, 12,418 mm. Terhadap bakteri Escherichia coli konsentrasi 10%, 20% yaitu 9,203 mm, 10,208 mm.Kata kunci : Ekstrak daun tammate, Uji daya hambat, metode disc  diffusion, Propionilbacterium Acnes dan Escherichia Coli.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which the influence of students' perceptions of learning media and achievement motivation on economic learning achievement. The research method used is survey with correlation and regression analysis, that is connecting between data showing student perception on learning media and achievement motivation owned by students with data showing student achievement in economic lesson. Hypothesis test results obtained by the following conclusions: (1) There is a significant influence of students' perceptions of learning media and achievement motivation jointly on the economic learning achievement of private vocational students in Depok City. It can be proved by the value of Sig = 0.000 <0,05 and Fhitung = 27, 823. (2) There is a significant influence of students' perceptions of the learning media on the economic learning achievement of private vocational students in Depok City. It can be proven by Sig = 0,000 <0,05 and tcal = 4,533. (3) There is a significant influence of achievement motivation on the economic learning achievement of private vocational students in Depok City. It can be proven by Sig = 0,000 <0,05 and tcal = 5,731.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) analyze the number of demands for batik products in the second period of 2018. (2) To analyze the most appropriate forecasting method. (3) To analyze the forecasting of the first period in 2019 using the selected forecasting method. This reseach uses primary data and secondary data with data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The analysis used is Single Moving Averages and Exsponential Smoothing. The results of research in forecasting demand for batik products in 2019 with the Single Moving Average method are 3,936 units with Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) of 632.5 units and Mean Square Error (MSE) of 693,718 units. And the Exsponential Smoothing Alpha 0.05 method is 2,788,879 units, with Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) of 694,318 units and Mean Square Error (MSE) of 960,665 units. The method suggested to company in making forecast predictions is to use the Single Moving Averages method because it has the smallest error rate that compared to the Exsponential Smoothing method with an Alpha value of 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine which companies are more efficient use of working capital between PT. Mayora Indah Tbk. and PT. Siantar Top Tbk. Method analysis is descriptive with the analysis of financial ratios used are the ratio of activities of asset turnover, inventory turnover, and working capital turnover. Results of research that PT. Mayora Indah Tbk. activity ratio of the asset turnover is 6.59 times, inventory turnover is 23.87 times, and the working capital turnover is 18.07 times and PT. Siantar Top Tbk. asset turnover ratio of 5.9 times, inventory turnover 27.78 times, and turnover of working capital -910.71 times. Both companies are then PT. Mayora Indah Tbk. more efficient use of working capital than PT. Siantar Top Tbk. which is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

This article examines the religious sciences in the thought of Mohammed Abid al-Jabiri which is well known, namely bayani, irfani, and burhani. Bayani is a source of knowledge from a text or reasoning from the text. Whereas irfani comes from science or methods of kasyf (dzauq) which are intuitive and sufistic. This epistemology is very difficult to rationalize, because one has to experience it for yourself if you want to know. Burhani holds that the source of knowledge is reason (ratio) or is called philosophical. The method used in this paper uses a philosophical approach starting from the epistemology of bayani in the form of text (nash), irfani in the form of direct experience, and epistemology of burhani based on reality (al-waqi), both natural, social and even religious realities (religious) in the perspective of Muhmmad thought Abid alJabiri. The thought contribution is expected to enlighten Islamic thought in facing the plurality of humanity both internally and externally, so that the correlation through this epistemological approach can be felt in the empirical world.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research subjects were second semester students of industrial engineering study program with a sample of 25 students. The data collection method used includes a student's mathematical understanding ability test in the basic calculus course. Based on the results of Key's research, the level of ability of Industrial Engineering students in basic calculus courses is as follows: (1) Students are able to complete integration with an achievement percentage of 75%. (2) Students are able to understand the concept of indeterminate forms and improper integrals and have an achievement percentage of 75%. (3) Students who are able to understand and are skilled in using infinite series formulas and methods to solve problems have an achievement percentage of 75%. (4) Students who are able to understand the concept of geometry in the field and space, so as to achieve the indicator obtained a percentage of 75%. (5) Students are able to understand concepts and are skilled in using formulas and derivative methods to solve the problem of achieving 50% indicators. (6) Students are able to understand concepts and are skilled in using double integral formulas and methods to solve problems, the indicator percentage achievement reaches 50%. (7) Students are able to understand concepts and are skilled in using formulas and ordinary equation methods to understand problems, the indicator percentage achievement reaches 50%.
