Abstract

The purpose of reseach is to describe of post-school’s program for developing independence of intellectual disabilities effectively; the opinion’s teacher about the post-school’s program for intellectual disabilities; as soon as the support’s usefulness resources can be used for implementation of post-school’s program. The research method is to conduct a survey through opened questionnaire and interview for teachers, and data analysis is to conduct with category base on aspect of need’s post-schools program. Result of the study is to point out as: the efectiveness of post-school’s program is orientated to trend of take action against for the skill has beenlearned in the moment intellectual disabilitas at the yunior high schools stage; the opinion of teacher is only skill to be rely on efective for pasca-schools program;as soon as the support’s resources for usefullness to the limit of that competen to exertion of schools.Penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan program-program yang berorientasi ditindaklanjuti pasca-sekolah yang secara efektif berfungsi meningkatkan kemandirian penyandang disabilitas intelektual; pandangan guru tentang program pasca-sekolah bagi disabilitas intelektual; serta sumber daya pendukung yang dapat digunakan keterlaksanaan program pasca-sekolah. Metode penelitian dilaksanakan dengan survey instrumennya adalah angket terbuka dan wawancara kepada guru, serta analisis dilaksanakan secara kategoris berdasarkan aspek-aspek kebutuhan program pasca-sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keefektifan program cenderung berorientasi menindaklanjuti keterampilan yang telah dilatihkan pada saat siswa disabilitas intelektual berada di sekolah menengah; pandangan para guru hanya keterampilan yang menjadi andalan efektif untuk pasca-sekolah; serta sumber daya pendukung yang digunakan sebatas kemampuan sekolah.

Abstract

Tujuan utama penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan model substansi/materi pendidikan kecakapan hidup bagi anak tunagrahita ringan di SLB tingkat sekolah dasar, dihasilkannya modul pegangan guru, serta tersosialisasikannya modul tersebut di SLB. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SLBN I Yogyakarta dan SLB Marsudi Putra II Bantul melalui pendekatan research and Development (RD). Pengambilan sampel secara purposif. Metode pengumpulan data yaitu pengamatan, wawancara mendalam dan semi structtured discussion dengan guru, orangtua siswa, dan pengawas SLB. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan mengatur, mengurutkan, mengkategorikan data sehingga dapat diseskripsikan aspek yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa untuk pengembangan model substansi pendidikan kecakapan hidup bagi anak tunagrahita dilakukan melalui: (a) mengkaji teori tentang kecakapan hidup bagi anak tunagrahita, (b) mengkaji GBPP Binadiribagi anak tunagrahita, (c) mengidentifikasi visi, misi dan lingkungan sekolah, (d) mengidentifikasi harapan orang tua, dan (e) mengidentifikasi kemampuan dan potensi siswa. Penelitian ini juga telah dihasilkan modul pegangan guru yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli media, dan pengkaji materi dari staff akademisi di bidang pendidikan anak tunagrahita, kepala sekolah dan guru-guru SLB, serta tersosialisasikannya modul tersebut ke beberapa SLB di Yogyakarta.Kata kunci: pendidikan kecakapan hidup, tunagrahitaringan, modul

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan konstrak skala pengukuran keterampilan sosial siswa sekolah dasar inklusif berbasis diversity awareness. Langkah penelitian adalah eksplorasi konstrak keterampilan sosial melalui kajian pustaka dan FGD dan mengonstruksi aspek dan indikator untuk menjadi rancangan skala perilaku Likert. Subjek penelitian adalah 15 guru kelas dari SD inkusif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aspek keterampilan sosial berdasarkan diversity awareness yang berhasil dirumuskan tujuh (7) aspek, meliputi kemampuan empati (32,4%), komunikasi dan interaksi sosial (28,9%), mengendalikan agresi (10,8%), sikap terbuka (8,8%), perilaku membantu (8,3%), kemampuan memahami diri (6,9%), dan perilaku mau belajar (3,9%). Rancangan instrumen pengukuran skala keterampilan sosial siswa SD inklusif berbasis diversity awareness terdiri dari indikator-indikator yang ditetapkan berdasarkan proporsi persentase kemunculan masing-masing aspek. Aspek kemampuan empati memiliki 15 indikator, komunikasi dan interaksi sosial 13 indikator, mengendalikan agresi 5 indikator, sikap terbuka 4 indikator, perilaku membantu 4 indikator, memahami diri 3 indikator, dan 2 indikator untuk kemampuan belajar. Total indikator adalah 46 buah yang menghasilkan item untuk hasil pengukuran.

Abstract

Abstract This research was aimed to investigate correlation between: (1) self-concept and social anxiety, (2) perception toward normal teenagers and social anxiety (3)self-concept and perception toward normal teenagers both simultaneously to social anxiety. In addition, it was also aimed to reveal social anxiety differences between totally blind and low vision teenagers, male and female blind teenagers, those living at dormitory and outside dormitory, as well as those with in born blindness and those with school age blindness. Subjects in this research were108 blind teenagers attending at SLB/A in Central Java and Yogyakarta Special Territory Provinces during the academic year of 1995/1996. Data were collected by means of (1)self-report for studying blind teenager social anxiety, (2)questionnaires to reveal self-concept and perception toward  normal teenagers. Data were the analyzed by regression analysis and variance analysis technique. The results of this research were: There was a negative correlation between self-concept and social anxiety in blind teenager (rxly=-0.6945; p0.01). (2) There was a negative correlation of perception toward normal teenagers to social anxiety (rxly=0.2276;p0.01). (3)There was a correlation between both of self-concept and perception toward normal teenagers to social anxiety in blind teenagers (ry12=0.713;p0.01) (4) There was no social anxiety difference among totally blind and low vision teenagers (F=0.165;p0.05) (5)There was no social difference between male and female blind teenagers (F=0.029;p0.05). (6) There was no social anxiety difference between blind teenagers living at dormitory and outside dormitory (0.002;p0.05). (7)There was no social anxiety difference between blind teenagers within born blindness and those with school age blindness (F=0.149;p0.05). (8) There was social anxiety differences between low vision male teenagers living outside dormitory and low vision female teenager living outside dormitory (t=2.10; p0.05). Low vision male teenagers group living outside dormitory had higher averaged scores than female low vision teenagers group living outside dormitory. These finding, it was concluded that social anxiety of blind teenagers was influenced by self-concept and perception toward normal teenagers. Self-concept exerted a greater influence on social anxiety than perception toward normal teenagers.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh Color Detector For Blind Based on Android (CODA) terhadap pengenalan warna bagi penyandang tunanetra kelas VIII di MTS LB A Yaketunis Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian One Group Pre Test- Post Test Design. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistic deskriptif dan uji nonparametrik. Kemudian dianalisis dengan statistic deskriptif dan dilanjutkan uji nonparametrik tes Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang sangat signifikan aplikasi CODA terhadap pengenalan warna bagi penyandang tunanetra kelas VIII di MTs LB A Yaketunis Yogyakarta. Perolehan skor pre-test menunjukkan rata-rata skor sebesar 27,2 dengan presentase 45,3%. Skor post-test rata-rata sebesar 44,4 dengan prosentase 73,96% sehingga rata-rata skor perubahan kelima subjek sebesar 17,2 dengan presentase 28,66%. Hasil uji statistic nonparametric tes Wilcoxon memperoleh T hitung ≤ T table dengan harga T hitung 0 dan harga T table 0 dengan taraf signifikansi yang digunakan α =0,01 maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak.Kata kunci: Color Detector for Blind Based on Android (CODA) pengenalan Warna, Penyandang Tunanetra.Abstract: This study aimed to examine the influence of Color Detector For Blind Based on Android (CODA) towards blind people at 8th grade in MTS LB A Yaketunis Yogyakarta to identify colors. This research used quantitative approach. The method used is quasi experiment with One Group Pre Test- Post Test Design for its experiment design. The data of this research was analyzed by statistic descriptive analysis and non parametic experiment. Data result from statistic descriptive analysis displayed in a form of table and chart continued Wilcoxon test non parametic experiment. The result shows that Color Detector for Blind Based on Android (CODA) application has significant influence towards blind people at 8th grade in MTS LB A Yaketunis Yogyakarta to identify colors. The result of the pre-test score shows that the five participants on average get a score of 27.2 with a percentage of 45.3%. The post-test score of the five participants on average get a score of 44.4 with a percentage of 73.96%. Thus, the average score changing is 17.2 with a percentage of 28.66%. Wilcoxon test non parametic experiment shows T arithmetic ≤ T table with value T arithmetic 0 and price T table 0 with significance level used α = 0,01 then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.Keywords: Color Detector for Blind Based on Android (CODA) colors identify, blind people.
