Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the influence of students' perceptions about the affirmation of the “idaman jelita” character towards economic literacy, also to exemine the heneral education theory. The population was students majoring in economics education in semester 3, consist of 254 students of 4 study program in the Departement of Economics Education. The sampling technique used was purposive random sampling, with a total of 176. Data analysis techniques using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of the study are there is a significant and positive effect on the affirmation of the “idaman jelita” character on economic literacy among students of the Department of Economic Education, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. This indicates that the better the affirmation of the “idaman jelita” character, the better the economic literacy of students. Finally we suggests to the next researcher to confirm the results of this study with qualitative methods to dig deeper and detailed information related to the variables studied.

Abstract

Pelatihan Penulisan Proposal Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dilakukan kepada para guru MGMP IPS SMP Lamongan yang bertempat pada SMPN 1 Lamongan, Jl. Ki Sarmidi Mangun Sarkara, Kelurahan Jetis, Kecamatan Lamongan, Jawa Timur. Tujuan Pelatihan dalam Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk (1) memberikan penyampaian materi pada guru tentang Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), (2) memberikan penugasan penyusunan proposal pada guru tentang Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), (3) memberikan pendampingan pada guru tentang telaah proposal Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang telah dibuat oleh guru. Pelaksanaan PKM terdiri dari tahapan: 1) pemberian materi pelatihan terdiri: Hakekat Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), Anatomi Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), Metodologi Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), Grand Teori/ Kajian Teori dan Empirik, Penulisan proposal Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) oleh peserta; 2) Penyusunan proposal Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) oleh peserta; 3) Telaah proposal Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK).

Abstract

Ketimpangan pendidikan dan gender gap merupakan sebuah kondisi ketidaksetaraan diperolehnya pendidikan antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Ketimpangan pendidikan dan gender gap dipicu oleh sebab-sebab tertentu yang disebut determinan ketimpangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat ketimpangan pendidikan, gender gap dan pengaruh ketimpangan gender terhadap ketimpangan pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Timur. Berjenis penelitian kuantitatif korelasional berlandaskan data sekunder dari Badan Pusat Statistika bidang pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Timur tahun 2019 melalui analisis regresi linier menggunakan SPSS 16. Berdasarkan perhitungan indeks gini pendidikan, hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa seluruh kabupaten/kota memiliki ketimpangan pendidikan rendah hingga sangat rendah, yaitu Kabupaten Sumenep 0,3025 dan Kota Madiun 0,1961. Seluruh kabupaten/kota memiliki ketimpangan pendidikan berdasarkan gender tingkat rendah, yaitu Kabupaten Sampang 0,1355 dan Kota Surabaya 0,0108. Pengaruh gender gap terhadap ketimpangan pendidikan positif secara signifikan bernilai 0,00 dengan R Square 0,64. Artinya, ketimpangan pendidikan dan gender gap di Provinsi Jawa Timur tahun 2019 berkategori rendah. Evaluasi pelaksanaan pendidikan perlu dilakukan setiap tahun, sehingga pemerintah dapat menentukan kebijakan yang tepat dalam upaya mengurangi tingkat ketimpangan pendidikan terutama bagi perempuan.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPandemi Covid-19 mengakibatkan pembelajaran tingkat pendidikan SMA dilaksanakan dari rumah atau pembelajaran jarak jauh. Berdasarkan analisis survei yang telah dilakukan pada kelompok guru MGMP Ekonomi SMA Kabupaten Bangkalan dapat ditemukan fakta bahwa kurangnya keahlian guru dalam menggunakan teknologi terutama mengembangkan bahan ajar jarak jauh yang dapat membuat suasana belajar menyenangkan dan dapat dipahami oleh peserta didik. Solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut yaitu  dengan mengadakan pelatihan penggunaan AnyFlip untuk penyusunan e-book dalam rangka optimalisasi pembelajaran jarak jauh di masa pandemi Covid-19. Metode yang dilakukan dibagi menjadi beberapa tahapan yaitu persiapan, sosialisasi, pelaksanaan pelatihan serta pendampingan dan evaluasi. Dari hasil pelaksanaan pelatihan didapatkan bahwa penyusunan e-book berbasis AnyFlip sangat mudah diaplikasikan oleh guru MGMP Ekonomi Kabupaten Bangkalan dengan peserta rata-rata berusia 44 tahun dan rata-rata mengajar selama 17 tahun. Sehingga sebanyak 57,1% menyatakan sangat setuju dan 42,9% menyatakan setuju bahwa pelatihan penyusunan e-book AnyFlip dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan serta keterampilan para guru dalam menyusun bahan ajar berbasis teknologi agar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Peserta pelatihan yaitu guru MGMP Ekonomi Bangkalan mengharapkan adanya pelatihan lanjutan yang berkesinambungan seperti pelatihan media pembelajaran interaktif agar dapat meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik. Sehingga dengan adanya pelatihan akan meningkatkan soft skill para guru. Kata kunci: anyFlip; e-book; MGMP ekonomi kabupaten Bangkalan; pelatihan ABSTRACTThe Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in high school education level learning being carried out from home or distance learning. Based on the survey analysis that has been conducted on the MGMP Economics teacher at Bangkalan High School, it can be found that there is a lack of teacher expertise in using technology, especially developing distance teaching materials that can make the learning atmosphere fun and understandable by students. The solution that can be offered to overcome these problems is by holding training on the use of AnyFlip for the preparation of e-books in the context of optimizing distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method is carried out in several stages, namely preparation, socialization, implementation of training as well as evaluation and monitoring. From the results of the training, it was found that the preparation of the AnyFlip-based e-book was very easy to apply by the MGMP Economics teacher at Bangkalan High School with an average participant of 44 years old and an average of 17 years of teaching. So as many as 57.1% strongly agree and 42.9% agree that the AnyFlip e-book preparation training can improve the knowledge and skills of participants in compiling technology-based teaching materials which are later expected to improve student learning outcomes. The training participants, namely the Bangkalan Economics MGMP teacher, hoped that there would be continuous follow-up training such as interactive learning media training to increase students' interest in learning. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of affirmation of the Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) values, called by “idaman jelita” character both directly and indirectly on self-efficacy, academic cheating and student economic literacy. This is explanatory research with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Warppls approach. The population and sample in this study are 254 students of UNESA, Department of Economic Education, Faculty of Economics. The sampling technique used was a saturated sample. Data collection techniques using interviews and questionnaires.The results show that academic cheating committed by students has no effect on their economic literacy, and vice versa, when students do not commit fraud in academic activities, it does not have a significant effect on economic literacy. This study was conducted on college students who have different characteristics with lower education levels. For the future research conduct re-examining using high school students as participants to confirm the findings to be generalized.

Abstract

Many students are dissatisfied with using blended learning platforms. At the same time, student satisfaction with a blended learning platform can determine the quality of learning and learning outcomes. This study analyzed the direct and indirect influence between the user perception of a blended learning platform, self-efficacy, and emotional engagement on student satisfaction. This research includes quantitative research with a type of causality—grade XI students of IPS SMA 14 Negeri Surabaya as a population. A sample of 103 students was taken using saturated sample techniques. Data collection is obtained through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis used is path analysis. The results directly influenced perceptions of the usefulness of blended learning platforms, self-efficacy, and emotional engagement on student satisfaction. The indirect influence between the perception of usefulness of platform and self-efficacy to student satisfaction through emotional engagement.

Abstract

The lecturer is a profession with two different functions: a teacher and a researcher. Teaching and research activities are inseparable and reciprocal and provide great benefit for lecturers. But, doing those activities simultaneously makes a high workload for the lecturer. This research employed the job demands-resources model to investigate the link between teacher-researcher role conflict and psychological well-being. This research was carried out on 250 lecturers in East Java, coming from three big cities, Surabaya, Malang, and Jember, taken by random sampling. Structural equation modelling was used to examine the research model. The results found that the teacher-researcher role conflict has a significant negative effect on work enthusiasm. On the contrary, the teacher-researcher role conflict has a significant positive effect on emotional exhaustion. These findings provide evidence to stakeholders (Universities and The Ministry of Education and Culture) to be more concerned about the dual role that lecturers must carry out as a teacher and a researcher.

Abstract

SMA Negeri 1 Gedangan Sidoarjo merupakan sekolah yang menerapkan pembentukan karakter pada setiap program sekolah. Program sekolah yang dijalankan didalam kelas terintegrasi dengan mata pelajaran, termasuk mata pelajaran ekonomi. Proses pembelajaran ekonomi mengarahkan peserta didik untuk bisa disiplin dan bertanggung jawab akan pekerjaan yang diberikan. Tolok ukur keberhasilan mereka adalah hasil belajar yang diperlihatkan. Melalui hasil belajar tercermin sikap peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis adanya pengaruh antara pembentukan karakter disiplin, dan pembentukan karakter bertanggungjawab terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi materi persamaan dasar akuntansi. Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif model hubungan variabel ganda menggunakan dua variabel independen. Sampel yang digunakan berasal dari peserta didik kelas XII IIS SMA Negeri 1 Gedangan Sidoarjo berjumlah 85 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, studi pustaka dan kuesioner. Instrument penelitian menggunakan skala skala likert. Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial antara pembentukan karakter disiplin terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi materi persamaan dasar akuntansi. Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial antara pembentukan karakter bertanggung jawab terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi materi persamaan dasar akuntansi. Secara simultan pembentukan karakter disiplin dan bertanggung jawab berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi materi persamaan dasar akuntansi.

Abstract

One form of household expenditure is in the form of education investment. Investment in education has a good impact on the future of children. Participation in online tutoring is one way for parents to support their child's education. This study aims to determine the effect of student participation in online tutoring on learning outcomes of economics subjects in class XI IPS SMAN 14 Surabaya. This study uses regression analysis techniques with dummy variables. This study resulted in a significant and positive effect of student participation in online tutoring on learning outcomes. The acquisition of student learning outcomes is greater when students participate in online tutoring compared to students who do not take online tutoring.
