Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) ada tidaknya  pengaruh variabel produk, harga, tempat,promosi, orang, sarana dan prasarana, serta proses sebagai dimensi utama citra sekolah, secara simultan terhadap keputusan memilih sekolah pada siswa SMK  Kristen 1 Surakarta, (2)ada tidaknya  pengaruh  variabel produk, harga, tempat,promosi, orang, sarana dan prasarana, serta proses  sebagai dimensi  utama  citra  sekolah,secara  parsial  terhadap  keputusan  memilih  sekolah pada  siswa  SMK  Kristen  1  Surakarta.  Jenis  penelitian  ini  adalah  penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Populasi  dalam  penelitian  ini  adalah  siswa  SMK  Kristen  1  Surakarta  tahun Pelajaran 2014/ 2015 yang berjumlah 449 siswa.  Jumlah sampel yang ditetapkan sebanyak  113  responden.  Penetapan  responden  dengan  menggunakan Nonprobability  sampling  yaitu  Proportionate  stratified  random  sampling. Validitas data diperoleh melalui hasil tryout yang dilakukan kepada 30 responden.Dari  hasil  analisis  yang  dilakukan,  diperoleh  persamaan  regresi  sebagai berikut:  Y=  3,597  +  0,465  X1  +  0,220  X2  +  0,017  X3  +  0,422  X4  +  0,074  X5  + 0,006  X6  +  0,558  X7.  Melalui  hasil  uji  F  diperoleh  nilai  probabilitas  sebesar (0,000). Hal ini berarti terdapat pengaruh secara simultan antara  variabel produk, harga, tempat, promosi, orang, sarana dan prasarana, serta proses sebagai dimensi utama citra sekolah terhadap keputusan memilih sekolah pada siswa SMK Kristen 1  Surakarta.  Hasil  uji  t  variabel  produk  diperoleh  nilai  probabilitas  sebesar (0,001),  uji  t  variabel  promosi  sebesar  (0,022),  uji  t  variabel  proses  sebesar (0,011).  Hal  ini  berarti  terdapat  pengaruh  secara  parsial  antara  variabel  produk, promosi,  dan  proses  terhadap  keputusan  memilih  sekolah  pada  siswa  SMK Kristen 1 Surakarta.  The purposes of research was to find out: (1) whether or not there was an effect  of  product,  price,  place,  promotion,  people,  physical  evidence,  process  as main dimension of school image as simultaneously on the decision to choose the school  at  students  of  SMK  Kristen  1  Surakarta  (2)  whether  or  not  there  was  an effect  of  product,  price,  place,  promotion,  people,  physical  evidence,  process  as main dimension of school image as partially on the decision to choose the school at  students  of  SMK  Kristen  1  Surakarta.  This  research  is  quantitative  research using  descriptive  methods  and  multiple  regression  analysis.    The  population  in this  research  is  class  X,  XI  and  XII  SMK  Kristen  1  Surakarta  amount  to  449 students.  The  samples  amount  are  113  samples,  respondent  determination  is  by using  nonprobability  sampling  that  is  proportionate  stratified  random  sampling. The  data  validity  was  obtained  from  the  result  of  tryout  conducted  with  30 respondents. From  the  analysis  results,  regression  equation  is  obtained,  that  is:  Y= 3,597 + 0,465 X1 + 0,220 X2 + 0,017 X3 + 0,422 X4 + 0,074 X5 + 0,006 X6 + 0,558 X7. Seen from the result of F-test obtaining probability value of (0,000). It mean that  there  was  a  simultaneous  effect  of  product,  price,  place,  promotion,  people, physical evidence, process as main dimension of school image on the decision to choose the school at students of SMK Kristen 1 Surakarta. The result of t-test on product  variables  obtaining  probability  values  of  (0,001)  respectively,  t-test  on promotion  variables  values  of  (0,022)  respectively,  t-test  on  process  variables values of (0,011) respectively. It meant that there was a partial effect of product, promotion,  process  variables  on  the  decision  to  choose  the  school  at  students  of SMK Kristen 1 Surakarta.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out whether or not: (1) the influence of Entrepreneurship learning on entrepreneurial interest in FKIP students in the program of Economic Education at Sebelas Maret University Surakarta in the AEC era, (2) the effect of Career Guidance learning on entrepreneurship interest in FKIP students in the program of Economic Education Sebelas Maret University Surakarta in the AEC era, and (3) the influence of Entrepreneurship learning and Career Guidance on entrepreneurial interest in FKIP students in the program of Economic Education at Sebelas Maret University Surakarta in the AEC era. This research was using quantitative research with descriptive research. The population in this research were all economic students of the 2014 Sebelas Maret University in Surakarta as many as 57 students. Technique of collecting data used was questionnaire. Questionnaires techniqu are used to collect data about Entrepreneurship learning, Career Guidance learning, and  entrepreneurial interests at AEC era. Data analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis with  level of significance 0,05.The results of this research can be concluded that: (1) there was a positive and significant influence of entrepreneurship learning on entrepreneurial interest in economic education students in the era of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) with partial contribution value 37.33%, (2) there was a positive and significant influence of Career Guidance learning on entrepreneurial interest in economic education students in the era of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) with partial contribution value 11.49%, and (3) there is a positive and significant influence of entrepreneurship learning and Career Guidance learning on entrepreneurial interest Economic education students in the era of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) with  simultaneous contribution  43.5%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are 1) to know the effect of the industrial work practice and self-efficacy simultaneously on readiness of the students of grade XI in SMKN 1 Banyudono to work; 2) to know the effect of the industrial work practice partially on readiness of the students of grade XI in SMK N 1 Banyudono to work; 3) to know the effect of the self-efficacy partially on readiness of the students of grade XI in SMK N 1 Banyudono to work. This research is a type of descriptive quantitative research with ex-post facto method. The population in this study is all students of SMK Negeri 1 Banyudono as many as 350 students consisting of classes XI. The sample in this study amounted to 78 students taken with proportional random sampling. Methods of collecting data in the form of questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study show (1) Fstatistic = 26,572 > Ftabel = 3,117  with significan is 0,000 < 0,05 so, the conclusion is that the independent variable (industrial working practices and self efficacy) will affect the readiness of the students of grade XI in SMK N 1 Banyudono (2) Industrial work pratices has a tcount = 5,589 > ttable = 1,995, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Means that partially industrial work pratices variable  gave a good and significan impact on readiness of the students of grade XI in SMK N 1 Banyudono to work (3) Self efficacy has a tcount = 3,462 > ttable = 1,995, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Means that partially self efficacy variable gave a good and significan impact on readiness of the students of grade XI in SMK N 1 Banyudono to work.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan fasilitas pembelajaran secara simultan terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi UNS (2) Pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi UNS (3) Pengaruh fasilitas pembelajaran terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi UNS. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode korelasional.Populasi yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi UNS angkatan 2013, 2014 dan 2015 sebanyak 184 orang. Sampel penelitian ini ditentukan dengan teknik Proporsional random sampling berjumlah 127 mahasiswa. Teknik Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan dokumentasi. Angket digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data tentang kecerdasan emosional dan fasilitas pembelajaran, sedangkan dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data prestasi akademik mahasiswa. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis regresi berganda dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) nilai uji F diperoleh Fhitung > Ftabel (45,735 > 3,07) dengan nilai p < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05), maka Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal tersebut berarti bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dan fasilitas pembelajaran terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi UNS; (2) nilai uji t variabel Kecerdasan Emosional adalah thitung > ttabel (5,381 > 1,97) dengan nilai p < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05), maka Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal tersebut berarti bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi UNS; (3) nilai uji t variabel Fasilitas Pembelajaran adalah thitung > ttabel (4,944 > 1,97) dengan nilai p < 0,05 (0,000 <0,05), maka Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal tersebut berarti bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara fasilitas pembelajaran terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa Pendidikan EkonomiUNS; (4) koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,424. Hal tersebut berarti bahwa 42,4% prestasi akademik mahasiswa dipengaruhi oleh kecerdasan emosional dan fasilitas pembelajaran, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 57,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian ini. ABSTRACTThe objective of this research are to investigate: (1) The effect of emotional intelligence and learning facilities together to the academic achievement of the students of Economics Education UNS (2) The effect of emotional intelligence on academic achievement of students of Economics UNS (3) The effect of learning facilities on student academic achievement Economic Education UNS. This research uses quantitative descriptive with correlational method.The population of this research is a student of Economic Education UNS force 2013, 2014 and 2015 as many as 184 students. The samples of this research determined by proportional random sampling as many as 127 students. The data of this research were collected through the questionnaire and documentation. Questionnaires were used to collect data on emotional intelligence and learning facilities, while documentation was used to collect student academic achievement data. The data analysis was used an multiple regression technique of analysis with significance level 0,05.The result of this research shows that (1) F test value obtained Fcount > Ftable (45,735 > 3,07) with p value < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05), so that Ho rejected and H1 accepted. It means that there is a positive and significant influence between the emotional intelligence and learning facilities together to the academic achievement of the students of Economics Education UNS; (2) t test value of the emotional intelligence variable is tcount > ttable (5,381 > 1,97) with p value < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05), so that Ho rejected and H1 accepted. It means that there is a positive and significant influence between the emotional intelligence on academic achievement of students of Economics UNS; (3) t test value of the learning facilities variable is tcount > ttable (4,944 > 1,97) with p value < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05), so that Ho rejected and H1 accepted. It means that there is a positive and significant influence between the learning facilities on student academic achievement Economic Education UNS; (4) the coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0,424. It means that 42,4% academic achievement of the student are influenced by the emotional intelligence and learning facilities. Meanwhile the remaining (57,6%) are influenced by other factors outside in this research.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa khususnya pada mata pelajaran kewirausahaan di SMK Kristen 1 Surakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMK Kristen 1 Surakarta tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016 dengan sampel sebanyak 115 responden. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari jawaban responden yang dijawab melalui kuesioner. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan kuesioner (angket). Validitas data diperoleh melalui hasil tryout yang dilakukan kepada 30 responden. Teknik analisis data yang dipergunakan adalah teknik analisis regresi linear sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel kompetensi guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil ini dapat diketahui melalui hasil uji t  diperoleh nilai probabilitas sebesar (0,000). Nilai ini lebih kecil dibandingkan 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal ini berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel kompetensi guru dengan variabel motivasi belajar. Berdasarkan hasil uji koefisien determinasi (R Square) diperoleh angka sebesar 0,511 atau 51,1%. Hal ini dapat diartikan bahwa 51,1 % variabel motivasi belajar siswa dipengaruhi oleh kompetensi guru.  The aim of this research is to find out the influence of the competence of the teacher to the motivation in learning of subject, especially in enterpreneurship subject. The kind of this research is survey. Population of this research are students of SMK Kristen 1 Surakarta in school year of 2015 / 2016. The respondents of this research are 115 as the sample. The data of this research was taken from the questionnaire given to the respondents. The method of data collection is document analysis through questionnaire. Validity of the data was taken from the result of the try out toward the 30 respondents. The technique of data analysis is linear regression. This research can be concluded that there is significant influence of the compentence of the teacher toward motivation of students in studying this subject. The result of this research is known from test T. Score of probability got in the test T is ( 0,000 ). It is smaller than 0,05. Thus, H0 is rejected, while Ha is accepted. The result of the Adjusted R Square is 0,511 (51,1%).  It means that 51,1 % variable of student?s motivation in studying enterpreneurship is influenced by competence of a teacher.

This research used proportional random sampling as the technique of collecting sample for 124 students. Technique of collecting data used was questionnaire and documentation. Questionnaires are used to collect data of creativity and interest in entrepreeurship. Documentation is used to collect data on industrial work practice achievement. Multiple linier regression analysis was used for analyzing data with level significance 0,05.Based on the result of this research, it can be concluded that: (1) there was a positive and significant effect of creativity and industrial work practice achievement on the interest in entrepreneurship the Marketing and Accounting Department students of State Vocational High School 3 Of Sukoharjo 2017/2018 by 41,6%. (2) there was a positive and significant effect of creativity on the interest in entrepreneurship the Marketing and Accounting Department students of State Vocational High School 3 Of Sukoharjo 2017/2018 by 35,88%. Abstract

The objectives of this research are : 1)  describe the implementation of link and match in business and industry field toward the graduate of marketing major at SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta; 2) describe the supporting factors and obstacles of the implementation of link and match in business and industry field toward the graduate of marketing major at SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta  3) describe the solution to overcome the problems. This research is a qualitative, case study research. Sources of data in this research are words, actions and written manuscripts. Techniques used to collect the subject of the research are purposive and snowball sampling. Techniques used to collect the data are observation, interview, documentation and triangulation. Technique used to test the data validity uses triangulation source technique. Technique used to analyze the data is interactive model which consist of data reduction, data display and verification. Based on the finding of the research, the implementation of the link and match program starts from preparation or planning stage, the implementation phase in the learning process in school and the cooperation toward industry, as well as the evaluation phase. Otherwise, the supporting factors of link and match program are: the cooperation between school and business and industry field and the positive feedback from students? parents and the government. In the other hand, the obstacles of the implementation of link and match divided in to two major factors; external and internal factors. The solutions to overcome the problem (a) to solve problem in internal factors: school should give provision to maximize the function of shop as practical laboratory, school will make cooperation with Luwes (b) to solve problem in external factors: school will try to maximize and customize the existing curriculum to the work processes in industry field so there is no deviation to basic competence which set by Education Department. Those five programs implemented to improved and support the graduate?s qualification to suit the needs and demands of business and industry world. Based on the findings, there is 52,5%  of the marketing major graduate n 2017/2018 get the suitable jobs. There is 1,7% who opens the independent business with the suitable major criteria. Moreover, there is 45,8% of marketing major graduate who haven?t able to identified their jobs. The total number of 59 marketing graduate with waiting period to get the job is 5 months after the graduation time.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas butir soal penilaian mata pelajaran Ekonomi kelas XI di SMA Negeri 4 Surakarta tahun ajaran 2016/2017 dalam kaitannya dengan aspek kognitif Taxonomy Bloom. Subjek yang dipilih adalah guru mata pelajaran Ekonomi dan siswa-siswi kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 4 Surakarta tahun ajaran 2016/2017, teknik pengambilan subjek dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pusposive sampling. Sementara itu teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel sumber data adalah dengan menggunakan teknik snowball sampling. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan metode observasi untuk data kegiatan pengembangan tes, metode wawancara untuk data pengembangan tes dan kualitas butir soal dan dokumentasi untuk data kualitas butir soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Soal yang valid berjumlah 11 butir (36,7%) sedangkan yang tidak valid 19 butir (63,3%). (2) Berdasarkan reliabilitas, termasuk soal yang reliabilitasnya sangat rendah yaitu -0,057. (3) Berdasarkan tingkat kesukaran, termasuk butir soal yang sukar berjumlah 25 butir (83%), sedang 2 butir (7%), dan mudah 3 butir (10%). (4) Berdasarkan daya pembeda, termasuk butir soal yang sangat tidak baik 5 butir (16,7%), tidak baik 5 butir (16,7%), cukup 10 butir (33,3%), baik 8 butir (26,7%), dan baik sekali 2 butir (6,67%). (5) Berdasarkan keefektifan penggunaan distraktor, butir soal yang berfungsi sangat baik 3 butir (10%), berfungsi baik 8 butir (26,7%), berfungsi cukup 10 butir (33,3%), berfungsi kurang baik 5 butir (16,7%), dan berfungsi tidak baik/jelek 4 butir (13,3%). (6) Berdasarkan analisis secara bersama-sama validitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya pembeda, dan keefektifan penggunaan distraktor terdapat soal yang berkualitas baik berjumlah 2 soal (6,7%), kurang baik 6 soal (20%), dan tidak baik/jelek 22 soal (73,3%). (7) Berdasarkan keterkaitannya dengan aspek kognitif Taxonomy Bloom, mayoritas butir soal didominasi oleh butir soal dengan kategori C1 yang terdiri dari 13 butir soal (43,3%), kategori C2 berjumlah 11 butir soal (36,7%), kategori C3 berjumlah 3 butir soal (10%) dan butir soal dengan kategori C4 berjumlah 3 butir soal (10%). Keseluruhan soal penilaian mata pelajaran Ekonomi kelas XI di SMA Negeri 4 Surakarta Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017 dalam kaitannya dengan aspek kognitif Taxonomy Bloom termasuk soal yang tidak baik. This research aims to identify the quality of items about the assessment of subjects Economics class XI in SMA Negeri 4 Surakarta in the academic year  2016/2017 in relation to cognitive aspects Taxonomy Bloom. The subjects chosen are Economics subject teachers and students of XI IPS class in SMA Negeri 4 Surakarta academic year 2016/2017, the subject taking technique in this study using the posposive sampling. Meanwhile, the technique used in sampling the data source is by using snowball sampling technique. This research is a descriptive research with qualitative approach. Data collection was obtained by observation method for test development activity data, interview method for test development data and quality of item and documentation for data item quality. The results showed that: (1) a valid question a total of 11 items (36.7%) while invalid 19 items (63.3%). (2) Based on the reliability, including the matter of which the reliability is very low, -0.057. (3) Based on the level of difficulty, including difficult level items totaled 25 questions (83%), moderate level 2 questions (7%), and an easy level 3 questions (10%). (4) Based on the distinguishing features, items that includes not very good 5 questions (16.7%), there is a good 5 questions (16.7%), 10 items are good enough (33.3%), 8 points are good (26, 7%), and splendidly questions are 2 points (6.67%). (5) Based on the effectiveness of the use of distractors, items which serve very good 3 point (10%), serves as good 8 points (26.7%), and 10 items as enough (33.3%), less 5 questions (16.7%), and serves no good / bad 4 items (13.3%). (5) Based on the analysis validity, level of difficulty, distinguishing, and the effectiveness of the use of distractors there are good-quality questions amount to 2 questions (6.7%), unfavorable 6 matter (20%), and not good or bad 22 questions (73.3%). Based on the cognitive aspects of Taxonomy Bloom, the majority of items are dominated by items with category C1 consisting of 13 items (43.3%), category C2 amounted to 11 items (36.7%), category C3 amounted to 3 items (10%) and the items with category C4 amounted to 3 items (10%). Overall matter of assessment of subjectsEconomics class XI SMA Negeri 4 Surakarta Academic year 2016/2017 in relation to the cognitive aspects of Taxonomy Bloom including the problem that is not good.

Abstract

The purpose about this research is 1) for informing the impact of laboratory to learning outcomes through by the interesting subject on group C3 marketing class grade XI SMK 1 Karanganyar year 2017/2018, 2) for knowing the impact of laboratory to learning outcomes on group C3 marketing class grade XI SMK 1 Karanganyar year 2017/2018, 3) for knowing the interest learning as mediating variable to learning outcomes on group C3 marketing class grade XI SMK 1 Karanganyar year 2017/2018. Sampling technique is Proportional Random Sampling. The sum of sample is 60 respondent. Data collection technique by questionnaire and documentation. The data analysis that writer used is Partial Least Square (PLS).               The result of this research showing that the laboratory through by the interesting subject produce t-statistic in amount of 2,050, so it can be known that value t-statistic greater than alpha (2,050>1,96), while the value of p-value is 0,041 less than 0,05, original sample showing the positive value 0,279. The result show that laboratory through by interesting subject significant so that can take effect to learning outcomes and state that laboratory through by the interesting subject take positive effect to learning outcomes.            Based on the result research can conclude that (1) laboratory take positive effect and significant to learning outcomes through by the interesting subject which can be shown by p-value 0,041<0,05, (2) laboratory take positive effect and significant to learning outcomes which can be shown by p-value 0,010<0,05, (3) the interesting subject as mediating variable take positive effect and significant to learning outcomes which can be shown by p-vlue 0,019<0,05, and R square value 57,5%. So it can be show that laboratory through by the interesting subject can explain the result of learning outcomes 57,5%, while the rest is 42,5% explained by the other research variable.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik kelas XI Pemasaran 1 pada mata pelajaran Pelayanan Penjualan di SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta melalui penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning.Penelitian ini merupakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan selama dua siklus, yang setiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI Pemasaran 1 di SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 30 peserta didik. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran Pelayanan Penjualan, peserta didik, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui beberapa kegiatan berupa observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif komparatif dan analisis kritisBerdasarkan hasil analisis terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan dari hasil pembelajaran pra siklus ke siklus I menuju ke siklus II. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada presentase sebelum diterapkan model pembelajaran problem based learning aktivitas belajar peserta didik aspek visual activities adalah 58.75%, oral activities 42.92%, listening activities 60.42%, dan mental activities 54.17%. Pada siklus I aktivitas belajar peserta didik aspek visual activities adalah 75.83%, oral activities 63.75%, listening activities 77.08%, dan mental activities 70%. Pada siklus II aktivitas belajar peserta didik aspek visual activities adalah 80%, oral activities 75.83%, listening activities 83.92%, dan mental activities 77.50%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik kelas XI Pemasaran 1 di SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta pada mata pelajaran pelayanan penjualan.  This research aims to improve the learning activities of students in class XI Marketing 1 Selling Services subject, at State Vocationa1 High School1 Surakarta, through the application of a problem-based learning model.The study was based on classroom action research and was carried out through two cycles. There are steps in each cycle was planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Participants comprised the 30 students in class XI Marketing 1 at State Vocationa1 High School 1 Surakarta, in academic year 2015/2016. The data sources were teachers of Selling Services subject, students, and documentation. Technique collection of the data were used including observations, interviews, documentation, and tests. The data analysis technique used comparative-descriptive analysis and critical analysis.Based on the analysis result, a significant improvement of learning activities was occurred from pre-cycle learning to the first cycle to second cycle. It can be seen from the percentage before applying the problem-based learning model, students learning activities for visual activities was 58.75%, oral activities was 42.92%, listening activities was 60.42% and mental activities was 54.17%. In cycle I, students learning activities for visual activities was 75.83%, oral activities was 63.75%, listening activities was 77.08%, and mental activities was 70%. In cycle II, students learning activities for visual activities was 80%, oral activities was 75.83%, listening activities was 83.92% and mental activities was 77.50%. It can be concluded that the application of a problem-based learning model can improve the learning activities of students in class XI Marketing 1 at State Vocationa1 High School 1 Surakarta on Selling Services subject.
