Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted human activity throughout the world. This disruption is also supported by the advancement of technology, particularly in the field of information and communication. However, significant change may cause negative effect for the well-being of many people, which could lead to the imbalance of work-life. With the concept of well-being that divided into four components, personal resources, organizational management, functioning at work, and experience at work, also the concept of work-life balance from the perspective of conflict theory and enrichment theory, this research will examine the well-being of workers and teachers and how it affected their work-life balance amidst pandemic. The study uses qualitative content analysis, the research findings include: (1) the negativity and positivity caused by the pandemic towards the well-being of workers and teachers, (2) and how to achieve work-life balance amidst pandemic from the conflict theory perspective and enrichment theory perspective.

Abstract

Until 2015, in the city of Semarang, there are 92 Tofu SMEs. The contribution of SME’s Tofu to the economic quite large, but the industry has the potenstial to pollute teh environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that affect partisipation of Tofu SME’s in environmental management. Tipe of research is explanatory. The sampling technique using non-probability sampling, and the  samples in this study is thirty Tofu SMEs. The analysis is a factor analysis test using SPSS 15,0 for windows. Results of the analysis found that the factors that affect participation of Tofu SME’s consists of variables competence, commitment, and the business environment. Recommendation in this study is the skill to manage the buniness impact Tofu SME’s need to be improved and and increased understanding  that the product is environmentally friendly can be a competitive advantage, from business competitors of the same type or from substitte products.Di Kota Semarang sampai dengan tahun 2015, terdapat 92 usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM) Tahu yang memberi sumbangan cukup besar terhadap perekonomian, namun UKM Tahu berpotensi mencemari lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi partisipasi UKM Tahu dalam pengelolaan lingkungan hidup. Tipe penelitian ini adalah ekaplanatori dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yakni purposive sampling dan jumlah sampel 30 usaha Tahu. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji analisis faktor dengan bantuan SPSS 15,0 for windows. Hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi partisipasi IKM Tahu di Kota Semarang terdiri dari variabel-variabel kompetensi, komitmen; dan lingkungan usaha. Rekomendasi yang diajukan adalah bimbingan teknis dalam mengelola dampak lingkungan perlu terus ditingkatkan dan peningkatan pemahaman bahwa produk yang ramah lingkungan dapat menjadi keunggulan dalam bersaing, baik dari pesaing usaha sejenis maupun usaha produk pengganti.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of advertising, price, and brand trust on Revlon cosmetics purchase decision of the undergraduate students of Diponegoro University. Type of research is explanatory research with the population undergraduate students of Diponegoro University, and the number of sample taken is 100. The data collection techniques are questionnaire, documents, and literature review. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The data analysis techniques are correlation test data analysis, determination test, simple linear regression test, multiple linear regression test, t test, and F test using IBM SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) program version 16.0. Based on the results of the analysis, it is concluded there is a positive and significant influence between advertising, price, and brand trust on purchase decision partially and simultaneously (together). There are other factors that influence the Purchase Decision. Therefore it can be advised that Revlon has to evaluate their message in Revlon advertisement, increase the discount frequency on certain events, and add some product variants.

Abstract

The rapid growth of coffee shops within a few years makes the competition tighter.  Consumer behavior in decision-making is influenced by several factors such as lifestyle and price. Peacockoffie is one coffee shop that is known in Semarang city. The problem in this research is the price increases that is carried out by Peacockoffie in 2014 resulting in a decrease amount of daily transactions amid growing coffee shop in the city of Semarang. The result shows that the lifestyle and the price have positive and significant impacts upon decision of purchasing. It can be seen from the outcome of simple linier regression of lifestyle towards decision of purchasing and t test. From those two variables (lifestyle and price) that had been partially and simultaneously analyzed, the coefficient of price is higher than lifestyle coefficient. In details, price has the biggest impact towards the decision of purchasing the products of Peacockoffie Semarang, reaching the number 0,288, compared with lifestyle that only get 0,057. The coefficient of determination (R2) of lifestyle and price is 19,6%. This means 19,6% of purchasing decision can be explained by those two variables, while the other 80,4% can be explained by another variable. The suggestions that can be given to increase the purchasing decision is that Peacockoffie should establishes standard operating procedure (SOP) in service and product presentation.

Abstract

Handmade batik is one of the businesses run by the people of Grobogan district. Handmade batik has the potential to develop because it has a unique product and is one of the cultures in Indonesia. However, the achievement of batik sales has not been in accordance with the desired target and sales have decreased over the past three years. This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurial competence and market orientation on competitive advantage to improve marketing performance in the batik business in Grobogan-Central Java. This research was conducted in several sub-districts in Grobogan district, with a total of 9 sub-districts studied. The most batik producing districts are Purwodadi sub-districts. This type of research is explanatory research with data collection techniques through questionnaires and interviews. The sample of this research was 46 batik business in Grobogan Regency with the criteria of having conducted business activities for at least 2 years. The technique used is quantitative analysis with the help of SPSS version 20. The analysis used is simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t test and mediation test (intervening). The results showed that there was an influence of entrepreneurial competence on competitive advantage, market orientation on marketing performance, and competitive advantage on marketing performanceBatik tulis merupakan salah satu usaha yang dijalankan oleh masyarakat kabupaten Grobogan. Batik tulis berpotensi untuk berkembang karena produk yang unik dan merupakan salah satu budaya yang ada di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi wirausaha dan orientasi pasar terhadap keunggulan bersaing untuk meningkatkan kinerja pemasaran pada usaha batik tulis di Grobogan-Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dibeberapa kecamatan yang ada di kabupaten Grobogan, dengan jumlah kecamatan yang diteliti yaitu sebanyak 9 kecamatan. Kecamatan terbanyak penghasil batik tulis yaitu kecamatan Purwodadi. Tipe penelitian ini adalah explanatory research dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner dan wawancara. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 46 usaha batik tulis di Kabupaten Grobogan dengan kriteria telah melakukan kegiatan usaha minimal 2 tahun. Teknik yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif dengan bantuan SPSS versi 20. Analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier sederhana, regresi linier berganda, uji t dan uji mediasi (intervening). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh kompetensi wirausaha terhadap keunggulan bersaing, orientasi pasar terhadap kinerja pemasaran, dan keunggulan bersaing terhadap kinerja pemasaran.

Abstract

Crystal Sugar SMIs Durensari Village is the center of coconut sugar industries in Purworejo Regency. Crystal Sugar SMIs have the potential develop due to high demand both from within the country and from abroad, but in the last 5 year the sale of crystal sugar has decreased. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of enterpreneurial orientation and market orientation on sustainable compettitive advantage through product innovation. This type of research is explanatory research with data collection techniques through questionnaries and interviews. The sample of this research was 78 sugar producers of Durensari Village. Analysis data use Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) software where used validity test, reliability test, coefficient of correlation, coefficient of determination, simple and multiple regression analysis, t test, sobel test, path analysis. The result showed that all independemt variables have a sginificant influence of dependent variable partially, while product innovation variable acts as a partiall mediating variable that indicate there in an indirect effect of enterpreneurship orientation and market orientation on sustainable competitive advantage. Suggestion include strengthening group institutions, actively attending group meetinngs, increasing the ability to produce new variants, maintaining the quality of raw materials and product quality. IKM Gula Semut Desa Durensari merupakan sentra industri gula kelapa di Kabupaten Purworejo. IKM Gula Semut berpotensi untuk berkembang karena adanya permintaan yang tinggi baik dari dalam maupun luar negeri, akan tetapi dalam 5 tahun terakhir penjualan gula semut mengalami penurunan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh orientasi kewirausahaan dan orientasi pasar terhadap keunggulan bersaing berkelanjutan melalui inovasi produk. Tipe penelitian ini adalah 78 perajin gula semut Desa Durensari dengan kriteria melakukan kegiatan usaha minimal 3 tahun, berusia minimal 21 tahun, dan sudah menikah. Penelitian ini menggunakan software Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) versi 23.0 for windows dimana sebelunya dilakukan uji validitas, reliabilitas, koefisien korelasi, koefisien determinasi, analisis regresi sederhana dan berganda, uji t, uji sobel, dan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh variabel independen memiliki pengaruh siginifikan terhadap variabel dependen secara parsial, sedangkan variabel inovasi produk berperan sebagai variabel mediasi parsial yang menunjukkan ada pengaruh tidak langsung variabel orientasi kewirausahaan dan orientasi pasar terhadap keunggulan bersaing berkelanjutan. Saran yang diajukan meliputi penguatan kelembagaan kelompok, aktif hadir dalam pertemuan kelompok, meningkatkan kemampuan menghasilkan varian baru, memperthankan kualitas bahan baku dan kualitas produk.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Trust and Service Quality terhadap kepuasan dan loyalitas pelanggan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dengan 100 responden dari nasabah bank yang menggunakan aplikasi mobile banking. Teknik pemilihan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Accidental Sampling. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik SEM-PLS. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori TRITAM, customer satisfaction, trust, loyalty dan service quality. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa 1) Kepercayaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan 2) Kepercayaan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas 3) Kepercayaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas layanan 4) Kualitas layanan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan 5) Kualitas layanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas 6) kepuasan pelanggan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Loyalitas. Penelitian ke depan diharapkan dapat mengkaji fokus penelitian dengan variabel-variabel yang berkaitan dengan kualitas layanan dalam pelayanan online dan perusahaan harus mampu meningkatkan dan meningkatkan kualitas seluruh dimensi variabel.
